Nice video, I have several vintage SuperShots that I really need to go through as well. Just gotta finish a few more things on my channel before I can get there, seeing yours together gave me a good push.
Ishtiaq Ahmed It’s a great looking car for sure. This one is vintage original condition. I plan to restore it back to mint at some point but I enjoy driving it so much I’m just keeping it going at the moment.
@@RCKickschannel I suppose OCD has its benefits, maybe I'm just being pedantic. One of my uncles I raced with a few years ago called them ECU's as well, no matter how much I tried to fix him. Out of all my Tamiya re releases (10/11 all up) only the Hotshot and Frog are complete, (my Egress was already built when purchased :) ) all the rest are half done or not started, not to mention the 5 Kyosho rereleases and a few more I still want to buy. It never ends.
I had a hotshot a while ago, I really enjoyed running it.love to have another one
I was trying to figure out how to mount the Quicrun ESC in my Shot. Your solution is Brilliant!
Cool buggy, happy to see you got it running👍👍
Hotshot is looking good! 👍😎
Awesome Gav you went for the 1060, great call... The Hotshot looks I'm warming to :-)
BenAppleTre It’s a good looking car and I’ve seen some amazing paint jobs for it.

Nice Hotshot, Nice Sea-Dweller
Love the hotshot always wanted one to compete with my boomerang
Hi! I never really considered the fire risk with nimh batteries. Are there known risks? I have dozens of them dotted around the house!
And she’s back to fight another day 😍👊🏻
That is a great buggy!
That Hot shot looks amazing 👍👍👍

First!
Cool design.. lots of Tamiyas seem cool.. I just can't get over how ... fragile.. they are tho. But, definitely cool tho.
i think they're pretty tough for an rc car that is over 30 years old

No question! My wild willy held up ok back in the day!
Bigdaddyd82 Vapes Yep you have to look after them a bit. These kits are part models really. Hard bashing will not end well.
Did you put in the MIP diff? That should also help
muddfoot69 Hi, no I would need two and at the price it gets super expensive.
Wow, found someone using the same disposable food container to hold RC parts. Just because we got to many different models.
*ERMAGHERD!!!!* am I too late? This is one I'd LOVE to have back in my collection. 💖😊👍👍
Carmine ✈🚂🚙
..... I will spare you the big sob story...
Short version, I haven't been able to buy ANYTHING RC, in over 6 years...
Okay.... I'm a bloody Pillak!!!
I saw WIN! And thought it was another giveaway...
Sorry Mate.
PoorManRC Hi, I’m doing a giveaway currently so you haven’t missed it. Check my channel and you will see the video 👍🏻
Would love it
That battery not a lipo
Hey, Gavin, it's ESC (electric speed controller) not ECU. That said, I like your vids.
keithrx3c Heheeh I know, it’s my IT background kicking in.

The ecu is a esc just a reminder lol
Abbreviations are ALWAYS capitalised. It’s ESC not esc. Sorry I’m just being pointless and pedantic, please forgive me Sean.
