this is the best rendition of Erotomania, the tone is perfect, especially the clean @4:17 , i really loved it, the solos especially the fast one is so clean, and the first solo- the timing is perfect, the notes were ringing- evenly, smoothly.. what more ca i say,, the gain, and the delay is just enough, John Petrucci over -delay this one, during live, perhaps to cover some mistakes.. but yours is just perfect!!!!! ho pe you post more JP or Dream Theater songs.

Awesome as almost your video covers , very accurate palying and Tone , your tone is really great , i can't get a similar tone with my pod xt maybe a big part of your great tone depend on your audio interface or you have also good skills for equalizing the right frequncies ........obviously you have a really great technical skills but this is not the only important thing to get a similar tone .What DiMarzio pickups used here ? The neck could be a Paf-Pro but i can't see the bridge .

He likely dug out a MIDI file and ran it though a VST plugin for the drums like EZ-Drummer, and then either a good General MIDI soundset VST or a real hardware version, e.g. Yamaha MU100R.
