Personally I think the e65 looks have aged well. Especially the facelift with revised tail section.
Yes, the E65/E66 body still looks good. I’d considered the facelift, but decided against it. And the “tail section” is one of the reasons I like it.
2006 750i owner here. Did the valve seals and transmission case for not going in to gear and abs pump ,I owned the car since it was 59k now I have 100k and no issues at all. And it's not ugly.

@@ayomidekodu5577 I have to change the driveshaft bearings because my shifts were becoming hella rough and jerky my car has 149k miles and ever since I did the bearings my car is going back into shift
@@MBS.. it's usually the seal inside the transmission case that goes bad. You should get that checked
Obviously you went to bmw for the valve seals , do you mind sharing the cost
I own a E65 since 2019 and I still love it. You wotn beliee it BUT: No repairs so far. The thing simply runs.
Just purchased an E66, 2003 745Li, it’s at the dealer trying to get it to start. Houston dealer lied about everything, and even flatbedded it 100 miles to me. Didn’t even wash it! Replaç

@@brbhave2p00p4 I didn’t know about the issues until it arrived. But I’m doing the repairs because the bosy style is perfect for me, the seat controls are logical, etc. Only going to update the iDrive system with a modern “touch screen” type, to make it easier to pair my iPhone to it for Bluetooth maps & tunes. Hi, i owned a facelifted e66 v8 2006 750li, i ve been driving it for few years alrd and this issue keep happening but it never actually cause any real problem so i kinda ignore it, but it still annoy me and im not sure what cause the issue , hope u can help me out. I live in VietNam South East Asian country , the traffic here is quite slow so most the time i drive with speed under 30 miles/hour. This issue only happen after i start the engine and drive for 10-15 minus, and it mostly happen when i start driving uphill and slowly accelerate from around 25 miles/ h to 35 miles/h and that is when the car start a series of vibration/ shaking that i feel like it come from under/below the car. The vibration/shaking come in waves, it vibrating for like 2 seconds and then stop for like 0.5 sec and then vibrate again 2 secs and repeat few times. When i almost reach the top of the hill , it stop. I really confuse about this and its been happening for years and no mechanic in my city can actually figured out the issue correctly. Please help me out on this , thank u so much.

BMW E 65 740 i is BIG RUBISH my got 160.000 km all service ,but automatic hard shifting .Before this car i got Subaru Liberty ,several cars never ever have problem make over 200.000 km also drive Nissan Tida 1,8 l automatic do 200.000 km automatic not any problem BMW big CRAP all model
