Beautiful looking game, fun gameplay. Terrible story, unlikeable characters, blatant plot armor, agenda pushing, manipulative story telling, and does everything it can to spit on the first game. The fans hated this game. Any media review or award is not an argument. They give good reviews for money and access. Also IGN called anyone who didn’t like an abrupt sex scene where a jacked woman that’s looks like a man gets bent over suddenly on a boat a “basement dwelling virgin”. Also story wise this game falls apart with one person actually saying something more than what was said. It’s paper thin and anyone with sense would say things to defend their actions especially when faced with death. The writers couldn’t let that happen because if it did one line of dialogue would destroy the paper thing plot. That’s why also your point of not giving you a choice of what you would do they didn’t let you do because anyone with slightest bit of sense would speak up and say things that would destroy this terrible plot and punch holes in the paper thing story they were trying to tell. In the end the game isn’t a 0 and certainly not the greatest. It’s a 5/10.

It's good, but nowhere near the greatest. Lots of people either overrate it or say it's the worst thing ever. I personally think it's like a strong 8/10

The Last of Us games are my favorite media of all time. Absolutely touching story of love with Part 1, and a descent into grief and forgiveness with Part 2. They made bold decisions in both games, and I really like that they make you think. And the gameplay is phenomenal, best combat and stealth in any narrative game ever. The effort put into making last of us is super impressive, and because of that care we got the best videogame adaptation to tv ever with Last of Us on HBO. I’m excited to see how they portray the story of part 2 in season 2 and what changes/additions they made! Part 2 is much more difficult to transfer to tv than Part 1, but I have full confidence they did an excellent job. Great video 🙌 and I understand what you mean by Part 2 giving ease in moments of depression, it helped me because of how emotional it is. I hope it can help more people too!

@@TheMostInspiredFool properly one of the best comments I’ve had so far on this channel & much appreciated with your expression. I think the game just has an overall deep connection within it, from both games (Part 1 & 2) and I can tell people like yourself can relate. Relating to the combat and stealth (Gameplay overall), I’m still amazed on how good it is. I’ve completed it 3 times now and I’m due to revisit the first one again very soon. It will 100% be a game to remember. It’s crazy because I’ve still not watched the series yet. I probably will sometime this week!
I could go on forever 😂
Once again, I appreciate your expression.

@@MarvelousGamerGuy you’re welcome! I’ve been getting last of us in my recommended lately and have seen many varying opinions. The fact that the game is able to do that is very special and is another reason why it’s so great. You should definitely watch the show, they recreated part 1 amazingly and even added to it for the story to be improved. For example, this is a tiny detail, instead of Joel and Tess going after weapons Robert took from them, it’s a car battery. That way the narrative is pointing out Joel is in the search for his brother and to do that he needs a car battery. So added details like that are sprinkled across the show!

@@TheMostInspiredFool amazing! Yeah for sure I will be looking into it for sure. I don’t see why not, knowing I’m a huge fan overall of the game. Thanks for this!

One of the singular worst games I have every played. Horrible story, mediocre gameplay, cutscenes after every 2 minutes. Saying this is the best game of all time is like saying Superhero Movie isn't a parody. The devs literally lied about the game to get more sales.

@@TheSpiderMeisterFT I respect your opinion, as everyone has a different experience with TLOU2. However, it’s not a coincidence that IGN scored it 10/10. Also with the likes of metacritic 93%, push square 10/10, the list goes on. Everybody will have a different experience of course regarding the LOU2 & mine managed to be great. Sorry you didn’t enjoy yours!

@@MarvelousGamerGuy Game reviewers' opinion means nothing. Player feedback does. Players hated it, critics loved it. That means it is a bad game in the majority.

@@TheSpiderMeisterFT isn’t the players feedback on metacritic, IMDB etc..🤔?
also the votes for game of the year? Which the LOU2 received GOTY in 2020..
The things is as I mentioned, many will dislike a game that many will love, totally understandable but for you to say it’s one of the singular worst games you’ve played is insane.. 🤦🏾‍♂️

@@MarvelousGamerGuy No. Metacritic and IMBD host both critic and player feedback. Tlou 2 got horrible scores on both, but great critic review scores on both. GOTY is not mainly player choice, it is mainly critic choice. Especially compared the Ghost of Tsushima, a critically acclaimed game, loved by fans and critics alike.
