- Time to get these dirty Mercedes wheels super clean again! The wheels are deep cleaned, polished and then protected with a ceramic coating. I applied 2 layers of CARPRO DLUX (1 hour in between layers). The wheels are now looking super good and will also be very easy to maintain!

Before I die, I will have my car detailed to perfection by someone as dedicated as Vermijl. Shout out to White Details and Rad Garage. Great work. I used to clean my wheels on ground. Finally made decision to buy wheel cleaning stand but didn't want to spend $200 for piece of metal. I decided to make my own. Only thing I bought was rollers that they use for conveyor belt. I have aluminum my own. Cost me $25 to make. Very sturdy. I use it for cleaning and cermaic coating my wheels.

Combining IronX with foam?
1. Ensures IronX doesnt dry out
2. Ensures at least 90% of it reacts to contaminants
3. Agitation boosts effectiveness, breaks down bigger particles way better

I’d be curious as to the mix ratio. And you can buy Iron X as a snow foam.
I have applied an iron decontamination product (in my case, P&S Iron Buster) and applied a snow foam solution (Starjnagloss Sno)over that. it "locks in" the iron decon and cleans the surface more effectively. It turns the foam pink when you rinse it down,
Winter tire season nearing here in Finland, this is a perfect video on how to clean the summer tires and prep them for storage over the winter!
When do the winter in finland starts? I only put winter tires in the Beginning of december until the beginning of march :D (Western germany)
@@TenPainHD Many people put on winter tires after the nights start getting cold (0-3 degrees celcius) which usually happens in october or november. The first snow might come down in october or in january, it really varies between years.
Do you have separate rims for both winter and summer ?
@@TenPainHD Yeah like Aleksi said, october and november when the nights are cold and you'll have to drive early in the morning, makes it a lot safer in case of black ice.
@@kavenmalhi5057 Yes I have separate rims. Most cars in Finland are sold with 2 sets of tires and rims, winter and summer. Since winter lasts for almost half a year, the road salts and such eat away the rims badly, and if you have expensive summer rims those are gonna get eaten away and ruined.

Waste of water, energy and time to clean wheels liek that. They'll become the same dirty within a week or two. These arw good for videos or esthetics but not good for environment.

You dropped the rim on stone, and pick up the product in the brush before it drips off. Also pressing way too hard with that clay.
Do you think a coating of 6 months durability worth this level of detail?

I still don’t get why people apply iron fallout remover under wheel shampoo, it’s a decontamination product which ideally is used after a thorough clean 🤔
this treatment to the wheels was kind of anal. not gonna lie though, they look flawless. not the type of operation you do to the rims of a daily driver, atleast not me, i wish i had the patience though. imagine doing this to all 4 wheels. daaaaaaang son.

I’ve got my winters all cleaned up in storage. I only used brake buster on them, but got every nook and cranny. (Which isn’t easy on these 20-spoke Classic Alpina wheels)
If I ceramic coat these, I’m assuming I need to IronX, TarX and clay bar them first. Any need for Eraser surface prep before if I’m not polishing them?
Also, will one bottle of the Delux coating be enough for 2 coats on all wheels?

This is a very thourough cleaning but time consuming. Tyres and wheels are the first two things that get affected on a car. 2 trips and brake dust will make them filthy again they are protected but this is how it is.. nonetheless you made them for a showroom display car. Congrats

That's a foam sprayer and yes you basically can use this to foam an entire car but the foam won‘t be as thick as sprayed out of a foam cannon 😉

After washing them with water and drying, I'm cleaning my wheel rims with coca-cola and as for tires I do use solution of water and vinegar ( 4 units of water to 1 of vinegar) .

@@VermijlCarDetail might be. Ingredient which does magic is phosphoric acid hence coca-cola is so good against rust, grease ect. Also it's the reason why it's not the best thing to drink it.
