After multiple disappointing runs, I thought I should put the full boost map into the ECU. That was a poor choice. Immediately spun the tires off when the boost hit, even though I dumped the throttle I continued accelerating for another 15mph and became a passenger.
After pushing back to the pits to check things over, we found a broken steering rack case, putting an end to our Speedweek. Will try to put it back together for World of Speed in September with some upgrades to address overheating and continue working to get the traction control functional.

Been there, done that. Spun the car at about 190 on a return record run. Went around almost 6 times. BTW, my dad, John Riley started the Spinout Club to "honor" my achievement.

Watching the Slo-Mo,.. yeah, you weren't ever going to be catching that one. That's a lot of rotation with zero warning. Looks like you found the loose stuff the officials mentioned as hear in Alex Taylor's videos. They mentioned a few people got loose as conditions developed.
