Watching the oil pressure gauge on the run is interesting. Think I’m watching the oil heat up on the run as the pressure comes up with rpm then slowly tails down as the heat comes through it down the track in top gear. It has ALL the pressure.

I like how the rear of the vehicle is supported by five gallon jugs of VP C14 race fuel containers. The one guy said he stopped cranking the engine because flames exited the exhaust. I knew a guy who ran a body shop years ago; he was welding a panel when a stray spark somehow ignited a "sealed" gallon container of reducer behind him. Fellow was horribly burned and could not go in the direct sunlight for five years while his skin grafts healed.

Firstly, congratulations on that speed record or target achieved! That is excellent considering that is a home made or private team design. I think the team involved is correct, the issue appears to be an expansion issue.
The clearances I suspect were a little too tight. On the dyno, I saw it hit X rpm. I also think the gearing is set up for the speed target. So it has to maintain that RPM target for a sustained period of time. It does look like a heat soak issue.
17 tries and a success anyway, Good work!

    Holy _ _ _ _! That is zinging!
The RPM was lower on the record run so these guys will be back for more when they get the power up in the 9,000 to 12,500 RPM range they seem to be looking for.

The drive to pick up the vehicle seems SO long as you have to keep the speed down ( I don't remember what the speed limit is..). The flats are SO deceptive as there is no visual reference, just your speedo, very easy to keep pressing the pedal. I really do need to get back there...
