- Deal face up from 30-49.

what if spectator choose number 13 adding 1 and 3 give 4 and 13 & 4 give 17

First off, thank you for the great lessons! I'm learning lots from you and having a great time doing it. I love this trick! Simple tricks that don't require a great deal of memorization on my part are always best for me. But for this trick, I think there are some parameters that weren't mentioned...unless I'm missing something? The spectator can't choose just any random number. It won't work if they choose a number less than 10, or more than 49. (At least, not for me...I gave it multiple tries.) Maybe there's an extra step that could be taken to make it work for 1-9 or 50-52, but I haven't figured it out yet. So anyhow....one should make sure to ask for "any number" between 10 and 49. I'm going to go buy your book now! Cheers!
Hi Judy You are correct I didn't mention what you do if they choose numbers out of range. You will find with experience very rarely do people choose very low or high numbers, but some audience management is required like in most ACAAN tricks where a limited range is required. You could say "give me any number between 1 and 52 (emphasize the word BETWEEN), but to make it challenging make it a 2 digit number" or something along those lines. Thank you for your support. That’s a F***ing great card trick Mark, I have your book full of awesome card effect and it’s a must buy. Just a suggestion you don’t have to have dupe cards because in the prediction deck you could count 23 cards from the face of the deck too, so this gives you the opportunity to have two different force cards in the blue deck. 👍😊👍

Just encourage them to make it challenging by giving a 2-digit number. But you will find its very rare people give such a low number.

I will definitely add this to my repertoire. Instead of the blank card in the card case, I will write the "23rd" card on the back of the joker that is removed from the deck.
