Found your channel a few months back and love it! Lived there as a kid 40 years ago and planning a trip there for my wife and I for our 35th wedding anniversary. Watched to the end, with your mom. 🤣Thanks for another great, informative, and humorous video. I wholeheartedly agree with "go to Waikiki". We love visiting there! But as you said, don't spend all your time there. We were able to stay on the North Shore and in Kailua and Waikiki... a mix of rural, suburban, and urban, if you will. Such an awesome way to spend time on Oahu. One thing I noticed this summer is how many tourists were using spray sunscreen. I was shocked, with all the public service announcement I've seen over the years. The spray suscreen was blowing all over the place. I know you agree - DO wear sunscreen because those sun rays are strong but DON'T use products that are not reef safe.
That is a great tip on the sunscreen. Yes, mineral-based and not spray on. We should have shared some sunscreen tips. I feel another video is coming. Thanks so much for watching!

Love your content and getting ready for another trip to the Big Island! Torn between Fairmont and Four Seasons. We are in our 60’s traveling without children and love outdoor activities. Love love love the beach. Do you have a preference.
The Four Seasons is the tops for luxury in Wailea. Fairmont is great with their suites and their pool, more family friendly. We like Wailea Beach (Four Seasons) better than Polo Beach (Fairmont) as it has a softer shorebreak. I hope that helps!

Do they not do Manta Rays on Molokini. Did that stop with the fire last year. They used to do night dives?
Manta ray night snorkeling is only available on the big island. I am not aware of scuba diving at night at molokini crater with manta rays.
WAIKIKI is the only place you can go car free.

That is true! But really only on Waikiki Beach as that is where the box jellyfish population is the largest. They will have signs posted when the jellyfish are coming to shore.
