I´m a professional Throw-in coach. Here is my first video in the "How to do a long Throw-in" series.
Now that you are at the mighty LFC as a throw in coach(lol) can you try and teach the players to add swerve to the throw? Now that would be spectacular!
Hi Thomas, sorry if you've covered it in another video but I wanted to ask about how frequently to practice my throw in technique? At the moment I'm trying 10 max effort throws, three times a week, but not really improving. Is it better to focus on the backspin and try to hit a crossbar some days, and then do maximum effort other days? How many total throws would you suggest per session?
The most important thing to improve your long throw-in is to have a more efficient technique. Working with 30 different technical parameters.
I will cover them in my future book about long throw-ins.
Go into www.thomasgronnemark.com and sign up, then you will get a direct message when it's out.
Have a great day, Thomas
Hi ive tried many of your tips and the furthest ive thrown is 3/4th of a tennis court, any other improvements recommendations
Hi, My best recommendations is to Go into www.throwinacademy.com and take my Long throw-in course… that will help you improve
@@ThomasThrowin just put of curiosity is your throw in technique and rory delap similar? If not could you do a video on how he does it?
What's the furthest throw in you've done?
The longest throw I did was when I set the Guinness Worls Record with 51,33 meters... you can find it on my channel.
Little windy there.
Yes… indeed 😉☀️✅
Hi, I noticed that on each of your example throws, you were over the line, this makes the throw illegal, the discipline of staying behind the line is so important, . . . There's only one 'Rory Delap'. .
Hi, You CAN go over the line, when the ball is released. It's legal.
If you stay behind the line you lose length and quality in the throw.
@@ThomasThrowin Hi, I know you can go over after you have released the ball. that is why l clearly said, ' on each of your example throws, you were over the line.'. . before you released the ball..
@@petercross8871 If you just touch the line with your foot, then it´s legal.
In general I recommend the players to have the foot before the line to be sure, but in these videos I pretty sure that I touch the line with my heel, but you can´t see this from behind.
It's just an example, he is trying to show us technique
