Why is this in a bad videogame music playlist? It's got everything you could want in a song! A good beat, yelling, Roblox oofs and Waluigi noises. What more could you ask for?
Most tracks are added onto it because of them using the wrong instrument, or having flawed vocals. But, yeah, this doesn’t deserve to be on here. But, at least I found out that it even exists using it... (Yes I know this is a joke comment)
The Amiga had a very robust sound chip design. The only real limit was it's four channel design. You'll notice that Savage opts for a choice of "music or sound effects" like many early Amiga games and this is why. The other thing that put the mockers on a lot of games was that they were ported from the ST.
This music was totally awesome at that time in 1989, and looked so cool compared to the soundship music on the atari st version. I still enjoy listening to it from time to time, it reminds me these lost badass times, movies, and games. The Amiga was a very advanced computer for his time, especially for music. Too bad it didn't got the success it deserved.
It was a truly lovely computer and I wish I could've used one in person. I can't imagine what it was like to own one when most people either didn't have a computer or if they did it was some 286 stuff with ten colors and PC speaker.
Actually it sounds on par with some of the electronic at the time. I only know this because my mom has some CDs from the late 80's and early 90's. And when I say on par, I mean they where always pushing the medium.
This is a product of its time, and it shows.😆 That said, it’s kind of a shame that when people started making retro-styled games, None of them really went and made tracks like this!
Because these types only have a shallow, mainstream understanding of retro games, while the more knowledgeable people are probably making more original stuff lol
Ooooh SAVAGE! The only thing I wonder more than why this game isn't Remastered and released in 2022, is where the heck the dude got infinite axes? I mean should I be more worried about the infinite axes or that he appears to be the Goblin King in the last level?
Kevin Collier channeling his inner Trevor Horn. Hated this at the time but sounds incredible now to my fifty year-old ears. Just wish the filter was off.
Actually, PC Speaker with a good routine could play amiga soundtracks and sampled music in a good quality. Some games of 1989 or 90 featured digitized music on the PC Speaker. Even Mach3 by Loriciels played sampled music in 1987 on the PC Speaker. Amiga is not the only thing on earth.
Thank you to whoever made this bad video game music playlist... I'm finding some absolute GEMS like this track.
I can't belive ytpmvs were a thing before youtube
Give the man props he made a funky beat

This track is a national treasure.
World treasure.

this slaps so fucking hard, why is this in the playlist? sounds like a straight up art of noise track.

Sounds like early Ministry. I can dig it
Gonna guess the reason this song is in a bad song playlist is to give us a break
same with chaotic dance
the person making the playlist wasn't savage enough.
S A V A G E
WOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I feel like this would be an amazing song for a compilation of characters t-posing in video games.
This music is so Savage it could wake you up out of a coma!
Or put you in one. Lol.
Bruh, this is a certified banger
This totally sounds like it could be an Art of Noise song
So true!
Dunno, maybe because the sample usage reminds me of Legs or one of those style of songs.
@@Oh-Ben indeed!
Totally
Also, the "SAVAGE" sample was used by Jeroen Tel.
I love the part were the bob-ombs are moaning

my right ear is having the time of it's life while my left is malnourished
Think maybe you've got your headphones on reversed
I came for SAVAGE, and didn’t leave disappointed
When u deliver a sick burn.
I feel like this song is decades ahead of its time with the musical "OOMPH!"s.
Actually it sounds on par with some of the electronic at the time. I only know this because my mom has some CDs from the late 80's and early 90's. And when I say on par, I mean they where always pushing the medium.
Oh my god the backing lyric samples sound like high pitched Mario and Wario vocals. This should not be real, and yet here I am.
If this is bad music, I have three hands.
i cant help but imagine they guy doing wojack face when he goes "WOOOAH"
The 80s were a treasure trove for hidden EBM tracks, I swear
Yup.

WHY IS THIS IN THE BAD VIDEO GAME MUSIC PLAYLIST
There must be a misunderstanding there I guess. We're listening an epic from a bad video game if this make sense to you.
I know right? It's not even looping.
I'm enjoying this track. 😂 Because I can. 😂 👽
Because that playlist includes cheesy/funny music as well, some of you people are taking the name too literally

I Always thought it was Eggman who says "SANIC"

amazing that the amiga was able to handle such music. Replayed this game on my A500 about a year ago.
I'm starting to feel very savage now.
This song is fire FYM?
This track is epic
My Uncle plays this every time he starts blasting reps in the garage and he's grown too powerful to be asked to stop.
This game was absolutely solid.

ooooOOOOH SAVAGE
This is the most Amiga track to ever Amiga
This is my thinking song
Does the *ooh* sound like Gachimuchi to anyone else? Maybe I just listened to too many "right versions" lol
You need the loading screen music, awesome
SAVAGE
Are you sure this isn't a Skinny Puppy song?
disgustingly underrated comment. i am disgusted
I like this one, this playlist is lying to me
Saaaaaaaaavage! Ooh!
OK, this music might not be fit for whatever is going on in that cover (and likely in the game) but it sure MAKES ME WANNA GET DOWN
The Atari ST version had a more fitting song but I actually sort of like this one
SAVAGE MAN MAKING HIS WAY TO THE NBA FINALS
WOOOOOOOAAAAAAH
sAvAgE.
a masterpiece
I discovered this track while browsing a "shit video game music" playlist... Well, to each their own cuz I personally love this! :D
Same, this and the gladiator one are great
This needs to be the universal "sick burn delivered" theme!

Sounds like an obscure WaxTrax! band.
This is so damn awesome! :D
