- In this video I show two methods that I have developed to hold a cube of wood on the wood lathe to safely turn it to make a 3 cornered bowl or lotus flower. I demonstrate how to make one that is very simple to make and works well.

Hi, I hope your better half is recovering well 👍 ....... I thought drill hole, fill with epoxy/body filler, then chuck in your cube ... then you revealed method #3.
Method #4 ... three dowels rounded over at the ends, inserted into a block of wood mounted into the chuck, spaced at 120 degrees from each other and slightly out from the centre ... that would give three fingers into which the corner of the cube would fit ........... method #3 is the best, and you could also use hot melt glue instead of filler!
great idea! (as usual) Would it be something to consider, to make a groove or to make the hole tampered so the filler cannet get out?
Hi Brian! Love the channel! Can you share a link to the channel to sign up for online tutorials, or the channel you got these ideas from. I did a search and I’m sure I’m misspelling the name. Thanks
