Man I really miss this show! Even though I wasn't even alive when this show aired on a weekly basis back in the 70s/80s, I had the privilege of seeing SciFi's re-runs. I think it's sad that the show got cancelled back in 1982 because I have 2 of the unfilmed scripts and they all looked like good episodes that could've aired. What's even sadder is that Bixby--my role model died from cancer leaving the Death of the Hulk as the finale to the series :( RIP Incredible Hulk (1977-1990)

I loved the Incredible Hulk television show more than any of the movie they made these days. This looked more real than any hulk movie they have today.

It's great to read that there are other Incredible Hulk TV Series fans besides myself. I was a young boy when the series was on, but I knew then it was unique and stood out among other TV shows. Bill Bixby was a towering talent within TV history, and of all his work, this series is my favorite.
IH was gifted with great writers, producers, and creators, with Bill Bixby being the catalyst for for over IH show. Of all the episodes, the three, two-part episodes of "The First", "Prometheus", and "Married", were significant episodes, with "Married" being, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the entire series. In fact, Mariette Hartley actually won an Emmy for her performance in the "Married" IH Episode. "Married" was sadly prophetic of Bill Bixby's own real life, with him slowly dying of cancer, and him being married in the last weeks of his life.
Like many fans, I am sad and frustrated that the TV series was never "tied up" i.e. with Banner finding a cure and Jack Colvin's character's realization of who the Hulk was. I always thought the 3 post series TV movies were not very good and did not follow in the natural footsteps of the original series. To memory, I'm pretty sure Bill Bixby directed those three episodes and/or was heavily involved in their production.
Lastly, there used to be an IH TV series fan webpage that did a nice job with summarizing each episode and season. I don't see it up/active anymore, which is a shame. I will say some of the later episode of the IH were not very good. Ultimately, the fans were never given a resolution to the series. I miss Bill Bixby, and as a boy I looked up to him for his grace, dignity, and integrity.

I agree wholeheartedly . This and Six dollar Man were MY shows !! The 3 two parters were terrific . Prometheus is my favorite !! And , the 3 t.v. movies were missing something . I don't think I was ever given a reason why Johnson didn't direct them . As for the last t v episode , I was dissapointed and t v movie 2 DID give me hope for a proper Magee ending but nooo , what sense would that be ? PM me if you want to talk more Hulk . Read my bio , I have lots to talk about. Oh , snd yes , I do love women !!

I really love this show. But wow how tragic. I knew about Bill´s cancer he died of but this with his son and wife. That´s horrible. And that they feel so tied to this show. I don´t like to call this show special becuse of it. I so wish he was still alive and could have made cameo in the modern Hulk Movies. I got even more respect for this show now but also to every actor how there doing there best in every show, any Movie they can be in.

I truly miss Bill Bixby and Jack Colvin so much because of what "The Incredible Hulk" TV series meant to me. I was very sad when Mr. Colvin did not appear for the last 1990 TV movie "The Death of The Incredible Hulk." It would have been very interesting to see the reaction of his character, "Jack McGee," to when he saw the body of "David Banner" lying dead on the ground after the conclusion of the movie. What a missed opportunity.

To have McGee in "Death of The Incredible Hulk" would have slowed down the story being told - Banner being the closest he'd been to a cure since Jeffrey Clive. The McGee character would be "shoehorned" into the film, and it would show that he's kind of a third-string player in that particular event, and that would be beneath Jack Colvin, and I'm sure Bill Bixby and Jack Colvin both realized that there just wasn't any room in the script for Jack McGee.

Really? How do you know this? And who's Jeffrey Clive?

Well, I am not sure. Are you talking about the guy who was the first Hulk in an episode of "The First"? I am probably not so sure.

      Robert Polanco
Jeffrey Clive was the scientist whose experiments turned Dell Frye into a creature in the episode The First.
