the night my dad passed from cancer im 32 I came across this song when I got the news 50 feet away from him and It hurt to lose him but at the same time I knew were he was I knew the life he lived and the god he loved this song I play all the time driving to work people are surprised how at peace I am after he passed, its cus I know were he is. thank you p.o.d for you music
I think the reason why we gravitate to bands like P.O.D. is because they're true and aren't automated hacks trying to inspire falsities in our hearts.
They're so accessible in how their music is also for non-believers.
The concepts in their lyrics have always been more about the soul and reaching the top of the mountain, so to speak.
I'm agnostic but I support and respect them because they do good with their faith unlike the system, and stand tall with their feet firm into the ground, testifying and uplifting at the same time.
Joe Torres man you sum it up perfectly. I’m not particularly religious but their music always takes me to a spiritual place, and has gotten me through some very rough times in my life. They are the real deal. You can just feel it.

I just wrote something similar like not even a minute ago mentioning the same thing.
I'm far from religious.
But i am very spiritual.
Always god first and their music is always playing on rock radio stations globally but not just that their Christian faith is very important for everyone that’s struggling with addiction, mental health and the grief of losing someone to covid and other things
Sometimes I'm driving around thinking about my grandparents or family/friends of faith that I lost (natural causes or otherwise) wondering if they are actually watching over me, guiding me, or just wondering why I'm still caight up in the same stupid sins.....
If I think Grandpa is watching over me and disapointed, or just hoping for my behavoir to change, HOW MUCH MORE, that Jesus, who IS watching over me, pulling for me, literally healing my soul and not condemning me!!!
Every day i pray to look more like You Jesus and every day I fail, but every failure, I ask what to do next, and You say "Get up"

I love this song to the fullest...I played this song when my Uncle came to visit me some time ago. So now that my Uncle was laid to rest on Saturday...I listen to this song to keep mind relaxed and think of my uncle cause this is the only rock/alternative music he would listen to.

I miss this kind of music. I mean, there are still lots of music that has the same vibe like POD's but the media just sucks now a days. Grew up on POD from grade school until I graduated college up until now that I am on my 30's, from my mp3 to my ipod shuffle to nano to wireless airpods.

Another great song from POD. They are labeled as a Christian metal band but who are we to judge. Who cares about dreadlocks or "sounding to much like rock" to be a Christian group. Their words are positive and that's all that matters. Keep rocking on !!
