You have left out some very important questions in your demo. IF you are on a budget, how well does the economy vac get the dirt out, not off, of a rug with some nap on it? It has the same motor, does it have the same suction and how much difference does the brush on the economy vac make on getting the dirt out of the rug. . The lift is higher but I believe the brush and suction control pick up. The self clean brush , does it have a belt? IF it does, how difficult is it to get to, change the belt, and put it back together. From reading a number of reviews I've gotten the impression that the self cleaning ones are hard to get into. This is not meant as criticism. I am looking for a new vacuum, want a Shark, and these are questions I am attempting to find answers to before, not after I buy. Most of the women I know are between 60 & 80, they clean their own homes and they do their own repairs, if at all possible. None of us are going to pay a shop to replace a simple belt.
I’m super happy of how strong and powerful of this vacuum machine. My upgraded version also come with the self-cleaning Brushroll!!!!!! The best feature so far that I can find in a vacuum machine!! Very happy with my purchase in general
I currently have the Shark Navigator Pro. I've always loved it. That is, until I got new carpet. Now I hate it. It has no option to raise or lower it according to the type of carpet you're vacuuming. The Pro is so hard to push, I actually have to use both hands (I work up a sweat just vacuuming my living room!) So, can you tell me which model works the best for pet hair on thick, high pile, plush carpet?? (Shark or otherwise) Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Question for you. When you use the Lyft away navigator - the blue vacuum, can you take the handle tube put it into the roller brush head to vacuum under your bed? Under your couch? Under your dresser?
Hi, in the lift away setting (wand attached to handle and wand detached from base) you can use the hand motorized attachment but not the full roller brush on a navigator for under the bed. There are cordless vacs from shark that come with an under the bed tool.
Thank you So Much! Grateful and appreciative of all your videos. Definitely helps making an informed decision on the products I would like to purchase. Happy Holidays. Shannon
@Mariekr49 I ordered model number LA401 on sale yesterday from Target for $179.99 with regular price of $300, or so it claims. It's the Shark Navigator Lift-Away ADV Upright Vacuum with Power Fins and Self-cleaning brush roll. Supposed to be good for pet hair and long hair in general. Cost more than I planned but if it works as good as it says it will be worth it I guess.
@ did you,def let me know how it is! So I on the other hand went with the rotator swivel pro for $150 Black Friday special that said originally 279? I just looked up yours and it seems fairly similar. I will unbox and use mine tomorrow and update you on this one.
@Mariekr49 Sounds good. I don't think I saw that one! I thought this was the only one with the self-cleaning brush. I would've been satisfied with that although the Lift-Away feature might be nice because I have a carpeted stairway. I sure don't need the LED lights it comes with. Paying extra for something I don't need there although it might help to avoid gobbling up a cat toy here and there. 😁 For a savings of $50 I might consider that one. It's still showing it on sale near me.
My current shark navigator tends to spew smaller particles on my hard surfaces. Does the new model with the self cleaning brush do better with this issue? I have no carpet, only hard wood.
Thank you for another great review. Can you please tell me the model # of the one you felt was the best vacuum. I believe you picked the one with the self cleaning brush. Thank you so much. Peter
Hi! Thank you! The best one of the 3 imho is Shark ZU503AMZ Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum with Self-Cleaning Brushroll. Heres a link if you need it: amzn.to/3KFW6Jg

You'd think with the others not being self cleaning, they'll come with removable bottoms to allow for the cleaning . I easily know whats getting added to my cart, given hair is the WORSE THING you can possibly vacuum .

Really informative and demonstrative video. Helps me figure out which one to buy, but it would be great if you could include model numbers next time
Hi! If you let me know which color, I can tell you the model.
@@TheFrenchGlow It was the middle one, I think teal colour, thanks!
Question: how do you operate the navigator lift away on c carpet. I can push it forward but can't pull it back?!
Make sure it is on it is on power II setting 'brush roll on'
Fantastic comparison!

My old shark would do this, the purple in this video. I have cats and the litter always is flying back out.
