- This is Tower 22, which houses a small U.S. logistics outpost, located in Jordan's northeast close to the borders with Iraq and Syria.
Now, let's examine how this incident might have occurred.
A one-way drone, flying at a very low altitude, crashed and exploded into one of the barracks where the soldiers were sleeping, causing chaos and resulting in the loss of lives for several US soldiers.
However, here's the million-dollar question:
How the US air defense System Failed to counter the enemy drone.
As an American drone was returning from a mission, the air defenses were turned off to allow this friendly drone to land, as a result the Coyote interceptor Drones which are the air defense system was disabled to avoid friendly fire.
At this moment, a Kamikaze drone struck the U.S. Tower 22 barrack.
Since we Honestly do not know which Type of Iranian drone hit the U.S. base, these are the possible one-way U A S or, in simpler terms, kamikaze drones that were responsible for the attack.

Lol true. AD system is 3 parts . Radar, control system and weapons. It's not going to shootdown any drone without the controllers knowing about it. So turning the system off makes no sense.

Bc it’s really hard to both implement and use friend or foe systems we have it but we mainly use it for planes/helicopters it also makes whatever aircraft visible to enemy forces.
@@hnhgnjj6078 if thats the case this is a major flaw. And for safety reason place the soldiers in safer quarters till the system is back on. But lets be honest this is never the case and that type of system is never off unless for maintanance. Also how did they know the flaw of that system?
@@riza4086 it's was off bc a friendly drone was returning....see what happens when you don't know what you're talking about. If you have an active friend or foe system the signal can be picked up by enemy force just like the US can do to it's adversaries.

Don't you think its important to have an always active radar that detects incoming missiles or rockets at all time regardless of who or what is landing, Especially if you are in a warzone area. Then place your soilders in a safe area or Bunker so this does not happen. Just use a little critical thinking.

Great content. I'm surprised that the air defenses were disabled as opposed to having some kind of friendly identification on the US drone. That lesson, if taken into account and properly addressed, may be invaluable for US base defense in the future.

@@free_at_last8141 idk how do these things work exactly maybe its because they have very little heat signature and low speed plus low altitude and very little radar cross section , the thing i know is that even israelis have problems detecting them , patriot systems also have had problems in the past for example when aramco was hit (that time they said patriots were in repair or sth). even in ukraine they are extremely useful and also hard to intercept.

@@Naveenkumar-ug3ui I don't think the AA was shut down, I've never heard of AA being needed to be 'shut-down' due to a friendly coming in. I've heard that the drone was tailing/following closely behind the friendly drone and that could be why the AA system didn't detect/shoot down/ or target it. But who knows really ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One issue, it wasnt in Jordan, it was in Syria. Everyone, except the US have been saying it was in Syria. The reason why the US will not admit to it is because they hate to admit to the fact that theyre illegally in Syria occupying 1/3 of their territory and training terrorist rebels there.

Why would you turnoff your defence radar when your drone is landing??? It is absurd. You don't turnoff your defence system at any time. They work 24/7. They just couldn't detect the anemy drone or it was too late

That's not what happened at all. Remember a few years ago Iran managed to hack one of our stealth drones in flight? They simply flew it to Iran. Our top of the line, most advanced stealth drone. Are you sure it was hit by an Iranian drone???

They are talking about the war heads weight: The left number is the number in pound, it could be from 24K to 500 pounds, the other one is the same thing but in Kilograms.
