Doing mirrors is valid -- I used magic mirrors on Aki and Mitsuru while me and Shinji tanked things to save items and sp but thats because I was fighting the reaper twice so I needed to keep stuff into the next fight just incase. **Attack mirrors avoid crits too and I like to have them on everyone incase something like vorpal blade happens; being crit by the reaper is very likely when he does those multitarget phys moves.
@@Zenjoi Yeah on lower levels he always got me with a crit, because then he attacks a few times and youre finished. I beat him at level 80+, will try to beat him with a lower level on my next playthrough.
@@yeti1221 Crits seemed to be less than 100% at around 60. The average level at October 3rd is 51 and getting the party to 65~ish is a ehh kinda reasonable grind.. luckily It seemed defending AND attacking was *just* possible at 60 where I lasted a handful of turns before being destroyed by Akasha Arts. I would try it with the party at 60 even if it's big gamble, I think it would be cool
But even then (the second time) he faced death with a smile. if you wanna be symbolic he defeated the reaper to accept his death.. but in the story hes just "whatever i'm dying dude" so it doesnt really matter if he defeats the reaper xd -- would be interesting if it changed the story somehow though.
@@Zenjoi that would be so fire if they somehow build it into the game. Like defeat the reaper early in the game to avoid certain character's death or something.
I wish there was a way to use him in a Challenge Battle sort of deal.
Like you could do it in the menu after getting any ending.
That would be cool.
*Points at Persona 3 Portable* That exists. Only in Portable, because Persona 3 isn’t allowed to have a definitive edition.
Good idea with the reflective spells, the last blow was pretty impressive. Gotta try that on the reaper next time.

Ironic, Shinjiro faces death and wins, only to fail the second time.
