I love Europapark because it’s such a beautiful mess. You can go from a top-notch coaster to a rip-off haunted mansion. Sometimes the theming is epic, sometimes it’s weird. The food is always splendid and the shows were a big surprise. Great park which I can’t wait to visit again!
Living at less than a hour from the park, I agree it's one of the best you can find. Never been disappointed and queue lines don't seem long compared to other parks like Disneyland Paris and Everland in Korea

Europa Park is the favorite park of Strasbourg (where I am).
We have plenty of advertising here and people love the park. So when there was the burning, people were concerned about the dommages and what would happen next
I've never been there but I've watched so many videos about it that I would almost claim I know it by hand. The setback previous year was really sad, but I'm excited to see Piraten in Batavia with new animatronics.

My god, this looks huge, and everything looks so well-themed! I really wanna go here so bad. I think I should go for a whole week to really see everything, or are the queue lines not too bad?
You definitely need to spend several days there to see everything. As you said, it's pretty big and there is a lot to see :)
EP has fast operations so queue lines are beetween 20 and 40 minutes on coasters and 10 max on other rides.
@@azertycraftgaming A maximum of 40 minutes? That's insane! I'm used to waiting between 1 and 2 hours for a ride on busy days at theme parks in my region.
If you want to see everything i would recommend a three day visit.
The park is very empty if you visit directly after season start.
It's an awesome park, but it's very big indeed, unlike most parks that are designed to be circular, europa park stretches in one direction and it takes quite a while to navigate from an area to another. Still it was a fantastic place to spend the weekend and we had a blast. A few things did surprise me though : found some cast members smoking in gear and while in the park. Also there was a guy mowing the lawn during (obviously) park hours.

Arthur is very cool, I agree! The park is also quite weird to navigate yeah. I didn't get much time to experience everything when I was there though unfortunately.
Yeah, imagine seeing a cast-member smoking in a Mickey Mouse costume... He/she would probably never be heard or seen from again, I bet :)
Obviously they're not on Disney's "level" when it comes to theming and overall park-design. But unlike Disney, their ticket-prices are fair and the park is big enough to comfortably accommodate thousands of visitors, so I'll take E-park over Disney any day of the week.
startide How many days would be needed for a good first-time visit, do you think?

I remember going there more than 10 years ago as a kid before emigrating to the USA now I wish more than anything to go visit this park again and enjoy the new rides and enjoyment I had as a kid. I miss it so much.
You'll have to revisit Germany and Europe Park on the future then!

I think the 2020 coaster would be a Mack dive coaster, based on the big dipper model.

Dont think so, capacity on the dig dipper isn't that great and Europa park is very crowded.
@@tim5084 Good point, but on IAAPA they showed that they are working on a dive coaster. Maybe could they use, 4 row trains? I think it could work with four row.

What never ceases to amaze me at Europa Park is the awesome theming. I've been to Heide Park many times before I first came to Europa Park and it just blew my mind. Europa Park's theming is just awesome.
Oh, by the way: Good effort on pronouncing the ch, but Mack has just a hard k at the end ;)
I agree, it is awesome! Also if you listen people who work at Mack pronounce it Mach. Some friends of mine went to the factory and also found this! :)

It still goes on and it amazes me a lot. Not just through my own eyes but also through exactly visiting it.
It's a shame that the Scandinavian attraction was made raze by fire... I liked to go there. But I hope that it'll rise again in the next years. Europa park still remains a favourite place for me. I refuse to let my childhood fade away.

@@accountdeactivated5486 I think they dont want to do that to keep the park family-friendly. There was even a dispute about whether Blue Fire would be to intense because it has inversions.

FoodLoop was not the first Rollercoaster Restaurant. It’s a chain in Germany before and now world wide.

@@coasterbot They are not lying. The exact advertise was "FoodLoop is the first looping restaurant". Older Rollercoaster Restaurants did not contain vertical loopings. The chain owners developed the looping section for FoodLoop and later added it to other Roller Coaster restaurants.

I like how to park is like a showcase for attractrions from Mack but the only 2 attractions from different companies are the best attractions ;-)

You have to keep in mind, that most of the mack coasters are basically Prototypes. like Euromir- first mack spinning coaster, Blue-Fire - first mack launched coaster. etc. And still i prefer Bluefire over Silverstar :)
SDC is one of the closest parks to me, I live in St. Louis, so I won't be too happy if this park gets an extreme spinning coaster that blows Time Traveler out of the water :(. Great Video Harry!

I just watched part 1 but I might go there because I’m going to Germany because I’m doing a German exchange with me school and I asked my exchange student if we can go and she said maybe we took her to Hershey Park but that was in November so a lots of things weren’t open but if they come back in the summer I have a house in VA so I might take them to BGW but I hope when I go to Germany I can go to this park

That's a tough question, both are very different! Europa Park has more to offer. If you can spend several days in a park I'd go to Europa Park. If you can only spend one day there, Phantasialand. :)

Nope, it's probably the theme park capital in terms of the overall package (theming, operations and attraction mix). It's not the place for thrill seekers, it's the place for families expecting a little more thrills (and much more value-for-money) then the Disney offer in Paris.

@@renegaderaida526 His Thorpe Park Explained would probably more likely be called a Thrill Park (however, even as a Thrill Seeker, I would always prefer Europa-Park. Operations is just so much better there. When parks a crowded, you'll effectively will have more thrill there because of high capacity and running attractions with no down-time while Thorpe Park will offer you queuing times of sometimes over one hour and badly maintained and broken down rides - but that's just my 2 cents)...

@@renegaderaida526 Well, it's a Merlin theme park after all. ;-) Personally, I think, you just see it if a park is family-owned or shareholder-owned. :) Merlin Parks are great and have some of the best rides out there - but their first priority is to make money with as little effort as possible. Running on low capacity is something I realized in most Merlin theme parks, unfortunately... (Europa-Park on the other hand, never knew different ticket pricing or expensive fast pass systems because they believed in an equal class system and delivering the best possible experience to everyone.) Unfortunately, neither Thrope nor Europa Park is close to me, so I can travel/fly to both of them in pretty much the same time. :-)
