Eric, I just wanted to tell you that whenever I am stressed out about how disgraceful and false the governing body is in their interpretation of the Bible, listening to your voice as you explain things calms me and helps me see things clearly. I watch a lot of other ex-JW’s that help me see things clearly, but most rile me. I do not give this compliment lightly, but you truly are the best at making me feel like I made the right choice of leaving that awful cult! Keep up the work you do consistently! Please, never change!

I too left that cult which i was raised in because when i became old enough to make my own choices i begin on a quest for truth and the things i found out was absurd astounding, I'm do grateful to have found out the truth about this organization and religion as a whole, those people are indoctrinated not educated

Good for you! There were several points in my life where I might have made the same decision as you, but I didn't. It seems now that each time I might have left Watchtower, something or someone would intervene to make me believe that things could be on the verge of getting better. Also, there were several people (JW's) who were hoping I would "crash and burn" as a JW, and I didn't want to give them that satisfaction. So, I trudged on.

Their fake god jehovah seems to get a lot wrong surprised you haven't done any videos on such an important topic.
Same here, I get really mad and angry at those who I feel lied to me but I have to sit back and remember that they too are victims of the gb lies.

Realizing how many years growing up I was blindly following religious leaders, I now appreciate why Jesus & Stephen when being put to death, they requested God to forgive their persecutors, due to the fact that the religious leaders (priest & Sanhedrin of their day were blind guides.) Many evils have been performed by religious people convinced they were doing the right thing or pleasing God as Paul did which was wicked & wrong before becoming a Christian. So I can appreciate a resurrection of the unrighteous.

Thanks Eric, most interesting. As you say, those who are resurrected cannot be sinful or imperfect since death pays the price of sin. However, although I like to think I am righteous, I have no desire to go to heaven. I love this planet and God's incredible creations. I look forward to a new earth, one ruled by Christ and his fellow kings/priests and I want to stay here. God's tent will be here so I can worship God in his sanctuary here. (WT's translation of the word 'naos' as 'temple' not being correct, as you say.) We could always wait and see. I'm not too worried about what happens really since it has been promised that it will be good.
I rather agree with you, we've been told by the apostle Paul that 'we see only in a hazy outline but in that day it will be as face to face'. So the simple truth of salvation in Christ will bring us through.

I love the gift of Christ more than I love the earth. His life saving sacrifice has even now moved us from death to life. Romans 8:9. Our citizenship is in heaven as Paul writes at Ephesians 2:6 (even if we come to earth with New Jerusalem and etc as Eric points out in his comment). But the goal of our worship of our Father and Christ Jesus is to submit to them--(proskyneo). It always pains me to hear ex Jws (I am one too) say "I don't want to go to heaven because I prefer to live on earth." That preference seems so ungrateful and selfish when Christ sacrificed his life for us and to be with him, because we love him, and want to serve with him, should be our greatest desire --and should come before our love for the creation. I think that tendency to want to be earthbound and fleshly is part of JW indoctrination, that lingers with some, though I know so many of us sincerely love the earth.

Yes, you are truly a blessing and I would really be heart broken and depressed if something happen to you. Thank you so much , brother, for covering in detail with full use of the scriptures, this last part Jackson gave at Annual meeting. I was shocked at how ridiculous his discussion of so called new light on the resurrection. We are going to listen to this more carefully with our Bible. We also appreciate your series on Saving Humanity.

Eric, My wife, who you would know as username ‘Robin Michele’ passed away New Years Day at the age of 56. I wanted you to know because she usually commented on your videos. Robin considered your content to be of great importance for her spiritual journey as well as my own. I look forward to the next, unfortunately to consider alone.
I am so very, very sad to hear that. She has run the race. The reward is hers. If God wills, we shall all be together when we meet with our Lord in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4:17. What a glorious time that will be. Meanwhile, we must endure the temporary loss. My wife of 40 years fell asleep in February 2017. There are no words to describe the feeling of loss even though we know it is only a temporary loss. My condolences, and thank you for letting all of us know.
Her positive comments and responses to my videos were a regular source of encouagement to me and others that are working behind the scenes. She will be missed.
November 11 was the last time we heard from her. Her comments were always lovely. She spelled her online name Robin Michele. That's how I was able to see all her comments together, just now. 56 is young. I'm so sorry for your loss.

This is such a convoluted subject. Been a child of dirt to long I guess. I`ve always believed I`d be on the earth in the resurrection but, If I'm part of the first heavenly resurrection I will still be here on the earth ? I`ll have to give this one time, re-watch a time or two. This has always been a much debated and difficult subject so, thanks for doing this one. It`s been on my mind a lot most of my life.
Ask yourself; do you call Jehovah God your father. Then you're a son by means of Christ Jesus. Then as a son you're Christ brother.

Take your time and use the bible and the Holy Spirit to guide you. What this man teaches is TRUE. The bible only speaks of TWO groups NOT Four. Immediately you can see how wrong the watchtower is.

I like your comment on the Exegesis Study method. I believe in Dispensation. All the Bible is written for us and our learning but not all the Bible is written to us. Paul's Ministry was a "Mystery" hid in God before the beginning of the world.

I got in trouble with the Elders for dispursing food boxes and gallons of milk. I'm not a baptized witness but have attended for 5 years. I befriended a warehouse boss that was in charge of dispersing the food boxes and milk. I volunteered my time and trucks and in return he offered me if I could help disperse some of the food boxes and milk because some pallets were starting to be left behind. I said yes and began dispersing them to anyone in the streets that accepted them. I took about half of all my loads to greatful and accepting witnesses. But the elders weren't having it. They declared that if it doesn't come from the organization and elders, its from Babylon the great and thier for not acceptable. Many members were confused because they were identical to the few boxes the elders were giving out. I guess It was the threat of a non member non elder providing more than them that must have scared them. I feel for them. I dont accept thier dum reasons for not being charitable to others outside the organization. That's not what Jesus Christ taught or would ever do. James 1:27. I know alot of witnesses and even elders feel the same but are afraid to disobey. Let's pray and hope more true divine enlightenment comes to the witnesses and even the governing body as well, and the rest of us too!
Watchtower sues those who expose its corruption. It disfellowships those who warn Watchtower of its false doctrines. It hides Jesus from eight million Jehovah's Witnesses, while it trots out a (currently) nine-man "Governing Body" to replace Jesus.
It is exactly as you say. Watchtower is jealous that the needs of Witnesses were met by anyone but a "Watchtower endorsed" source. Also, Watchtower's own paltry provisions were an embarrassment.
Watchtower is a book publishing business with huge financial holdings. It pretends to offer true worship. It uses its power to hold people's minds captive and to persecute Christians. It is part of Babylon the Great. God says to get out of Babylon the Great.
It is truly disturbing how JW theology could get so close to the facts of the bible, and then twist is for their own agenda. It is truly the greed and selfishness of man that overtook them; and now their works are too manifest by Satan to hide. It is a wonder that JW have a hard time letting go of a hope that is close to scripture, but not exact b/c Satan will not make it possible for any religious institution. As for me, I am finally seeing the prospect of the first-place resurrection for myself even if it may have limits like family building and pets. It took some time to process, study and recover from the brainwash. But the idea that life on earth in the 2 resurrections can eventually become just as worse as our time today...racism, financial struggles, over sexed and worse crimes; then forget it. Sadly, the healthy, rent free, food free and friendly wild animal life is much further out then they could ever imagine. And they are giving up so much of their mind, time and natural loving instinct as they shun their own family to realize the falsehood much later. But if they truly wake up now, they have a head start to the tools needed to preach the truth of Christ.
Clear as mud. I thank my Lord for his love, mercy and patience for such a lost race of beings.
It tells us how mislead most of us are.
Because we are made to think that we had been living in a time of judgement - we were been told that many years ago and most of us still hold on to it...... when in fact that would be during the thousand years reign of Christ.
A lot of us think we are wrestling with God at this point in time... which cause us to believe that only the righteous will come out of great tribulation.
Many underestimate the devil's power; hence the belief that God judges us while Satan tramples us.
That's the reason why the organization stresses Armageddon rather than helping oppressed brothers to successfully fight their way through the great tribulation.
Oh boy. This Governing Body have no idea what they teaching about. They are in such confusion. Read the Scriptures people. Another excellent job Eric.

Three years ago, I went through the same "feeding frenzy" type of experience that you seem to be describing. It was when I read both of Ray Franz' books. I had an epiphamy every few paragraphs. It was an amazing experience. After that, I found Eric's wonderful videos. I'm so glad for you. Good to know you've found freedom.
Very well explain Eric, the GB try to mess up with the base of our faith, and often the lie is so huge and so illogical to the bible perspective and God personality, this lack of knowledge costs a lot to JW. We are here to give a testimony not to convince, that the job of the Holy Spirit, when you are trained to obey whatever the order in order to be saved the only exit is the power of HS.
Yes, Christian. The holy spirit went into action to help us get free of Watchtower. It probably did this in response to one of our prayers to Jehovah to help us know what to do about the "cognitive dissonance" we were experiencing.

A few minutes later, the angel then REFERRED to the great tribulation he'd mentioned earlier:

This strongly indicates that Christians WORLDWIDE will face tests and choices regarding their respective denominations. (IMO)
The JW view of a "catastrophic" great tribulation simply nurtures the fear-factor.

What I don’t understand is how people in the organization do not dare to ask questions or research. I never became one but I did study for years and left just to be back and do it over again. I think of it now as the need for me to know God.
I struggled with accepting their explanation of Revelation and the whole 1914 teachings.
I also did not understand why I couldn’t get baptized if I really believe in God and accept Jesus as his son and my savior. Why do I have to go door to door when I talk abt God to whom ever is opened to talk and share my belief in Jesus as the son of God.
But they really make us believe that if u walk away ur doomed and that u have no salvation then and that no one but them know the truth.
I realize now that I was scared of not being forgiven by God and because they have an explanation for everything they were the ones understanding the Bible better.
I did not realize that their teachings are really stuck in my head especially the ones in Revelations.
It is confusing at times and I have to watch yr videos a few times to really understand.
Sometimes it’s very simple sometimes it isn’t.
I do know that the person who taught me (JW) cares for me sincerely and she doesn’t know better. She like u, has been in the organization since she was a little girl. But when I asked why did I have to go from door to door if I didn’t feel right inside and people are rude they would say it’s for witnessing so when God asks them they will know we came to tell them and also because Jesus commanded us to do it. And I should ask God to help me do it then I felt guilty as if I were reveling against God. Then I said ok I’ll do it.
It’s very discouraging but in a way it worked out because rather than involve my family into believing in what they teach, I spare them.
I don’t want to take them to another church or organization where the teachings are not what I believe because then it’s just the same thing (trinity, images, etc) this is why I am so grateful to have found u.
I have watched most of your videos and I await them with urgency.
Sometimes it’s hard to accept but it’s easy when your explanations are thorough and u always have scriptures for us to read.

Jesus and how you relate to him when I talk to him (as a God) (worship)

The promise of a savior happened in Genesis right after the fall. I’m sure everyone who has come after that knew about the promise of GOD. The Old Testament is full of the shadow to what was to come, the New Testament speaks of the substance which is the Savior humanity had been waiting for. The entire Bible is the testimony of Jesus with emphasis on his laws. Noah will be teaching us what it was like living in the shadow

I've rewatched this one, and my question is... Do these "men" actually believe what they spew, or do they know their teachings are false? Its pretty clear to me, but if they knowingly teach falsehoods, well I guess the book they think they are in will be shut to them.
Good question! There must be come awareness, yet there also seems to be some uncanny ability for humans to lie to themselves and believe their own lies. Probably better that we never fully understand that.
Dear Brother, I've been raised one of Jehovah's Wittnesses, I still believe most of the same things. Dealing with this going to heaven, Re.21:2, and 10, says that New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven. No one is going up to heaven. Jesus said that he and his Father will come down here, Jo.14:23, in fact Jesus says four times that he will come back to the earth
Hi Eric, great video once again, though I got lost once or twice with your recap on Watchtower resurrections (So many), understandable of course, unravelling that maze is enough for the best of us to get confused, your summation at the end was very welcome, I must admit I have no desire to live in heaven, and await whatever is coming as long as I am reunited with my very dear and beautiful wife who I miss so deeply, whatever will be, will be, I trust in Jehovah and his dear son to be gracious to all mankind, and that his glorious purpose in the beginning will not be derailed by the rebellion that started in heaven that brought down the human family. How close we are to the end of this Satanic system, who knows? Whether you or I will see it is doubtful, I have buried so many close to me that thought they would never perish in this system, but they have.
Growing up in the 1960s, being told as a youngster that you 'Young teenagers will never see old age', 'Millions now living will never die', 'This generation (1914) will not pass away' '1975' etc, so many lies, and then waking up from this hypnosis in 2014 was confusing and painful for both my wife and I, but we had 7 years of freedom together before she passed as you know, I will never be trapped in any organized religion again, and I cannot wait for them all to be destroyed by Jehovah, truly the trappings of men, keep up the good work you do Eric it is so much appreciated, words cannot express our gratitude.

Are not the ones spoken of in Rev 7:9 the same as the ones spoken of at Rev 21:3, 4? Rev 7:17 in describing the "great crowd: of Rev 7:9 says "They will hunger no more nor thurst anymore, neither will the sun beat down upon them nor any scorching heat because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes." This is similar to the words in Rev. 21:3 ,4. It also echos the words at Isa.49:9, 10 "Say to the prisioners, 'Come out!' to those who are in the darkness, 'Reveal yourselves!' By the ways they will pasture, and on all beaten paths their pasturing will be. They will not go hungry neither will they go thirsty, nor will parching heat or sun strike them. For the One who is having pity upon them will lead them and by the springs of water he will conduct them." This sounds like people on earth being led and blessed by Jehovah. Are you saying that they neither hunger or thirst nor have the sun's heat beat them any longer because they are in heaven? And this is also how God wipes their tears because he takes them to heaven? Or is Isa. 49 referring to humans on the earth blessed by God? Rev. 21:3, 4 says, "The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So, are these passeges speaking of the same persons, of those in heaven, those on earth, or Rev 9 of those in heaven, Rev 21 of those on earth, Isa 49:10 of those on earth, or those in heaven? To me Rev 21 and Isa 49 are indicitive of those on earth. Rev 7, I'm not certain but the wording and description are so similare to Rev 21 and Isa 49 it seemx like the same ones, does it not??
So Jesus sacrifice was for us to get resurrected for a thousand years as sinners 😕. It doesn't make sense and it just gives more power to the governing body even outranking Jesus.
Geoffery Jackson says that men like Daniel, Noah, Samuel and David will have to learn about the sacrifice and exercise faith in it. And who does Geoffery Jackson think will teach these ones? Are we to believe that those men never once believed in the coming Messiah? Does Geoffery Jackson believe that the great crowd of resurrected JWs will be responsible in teaching men like David about Jesus sacrifice? JWs embark on a door to door work giving people magazines, how many times do they do to the householder and tell him and the sacrifice of Jesus and tell him to exercise faith in that sacrifice? What will be different in the ressurection?

It will be a while before I can get round to that topic, but there is evidence that both stakes and crosses were used as torturous execution devices. Witnesses make a great to-do over their rejection of the cross as the means by which Jesus was murdered, because they use any and every means to distinguish themselves from "Christendom" (false Christianity). They will not contemplate the evidence that they are part of Christendom. Should the method by which Jesus was murdered by venerated, be it a cross or a stake? No. Should it serve as a logo to represent Christian faith. I find the thought repugnant. If he had been killed with an ax, or hung with a rope, would we hang an image of that around our neck? Personally, the Witness argument of cross vs. stake is, to me, like arguing over what calibre of bullet was used in a firing squad. But those are all my personal opinions.

Eric, one thing I really struggle with in Rev 20 is what happens after the 1000 years in regards to the second resurrection. It seems to me, the second resurrection happens after the 1000 years (rev 20:12). Can you help me understand how the second resurrection comes about during the 1000 year reign?
@big code --How could the resurrected unrighteous be benefited if they were not allowed into the messianic kingdom of the 1000 years? If they were resurrected after the 1000 year reign of Christ how would they benefit? If Satan is let out to mislead the people after the 1000 years to test them, then how would the unrighteous benefit from their resurrection? It would be living again under Satan's influence, as it seems to me, wouldn't it? Christ died for all mankind and all "redeemable" mankind should have an opportunity to know him. A vast number of people will likely be resurrected not knowing about Christ and his sacrifice, right?
If one assumes that chapter 20 is all one vision, then it does seem to support the idea of a post millennial resurrection. But we have to remember that chapter divisions were added over a thousand years after the Revelation was written and are the result of the bias and interpretation of Bible scribes. At point 21:50 to 21:57 you day Witnesses are taught that this a parable that mean that everyone on earth will die eternally? I don't think Witnesses are taught everone on earth will die eternally, are they?
Alas, yes, the teaching is that those who are killed at Armageddon do not come back in the resurrection and to survive, one has to be in Jehovah's Organization, aka jw.org
Yes, I know the teaching well. But you know Jeffrey Jackson said at the Austrailian hearing that it would be presumtuous to say that Jehovah's Witnesses are the only channel that God is using. That would be especially true if the organization has become apostate, as was fortold in Scripture.
The Bible also fortold many false teachers and false prophets would arise, esp. in the end times. So, since judgement begins with the house of God, that means it is judged before Satan's world. Just like Jerusalem was destroyed, so too will be the case during the judgment. They no longer say Christendom was forshadowed by ancient apostate Jerusalem...so then what does it forshadow?
The Watchtower has been right about many of the Bible's basic teachings, no hell fire, no immortal soul, eternal life on restored paradise earth, etc. They've preached the Kingdom of God, though not fully understanding everything about it. Neither did Jesus disciples understand everything about it. They thought Jesus would become an earthly king in their time. It didn't mean they were not true disciples because of lack of understanding all things.
The Watchtower has also been wrong about many things. Many teachings changed after Russell's time. We need to realize that we need to be willing to adjust our understanding of things if we see we're obviously wrong. The deciples had to adjust their view about the king and the kingdom and realize it was a heavenly kingdom, with a heavenly king, not like the earthly human kings who failed miserably, for the most part.

Geoffrey Jackson acted cowardly at the Australian Royal commission because nothing in the publications nor in the actions (works) of the Governing Body nor the Elders that they direct indicates that they accept that there might be other channels of communication. He lied under oath because he had to do what he could to protect the money of the Organization from the findings of the ARC. Why not speak the truth and rely on Jehovah for protection?

Well, perhaps we agree on some things. It does seem Geoffrey Jackson was being evasive. He didn't give a yes or no answer. Of course, if you consider that he was saying that the Watchtower is presumtuous, perhaps he wasn't lying. He just said that for them to say they were the only channel would be presumptuous. So, by doing that, he's basically inferring to some 8M + Jehovah's Witnesses that the Watchtower is presumptious to say it is God's ONLY channel. So there could be another channel Jehovah God is using or even many.
I'm not in agreement at all with the WT policies on dealing with abuse situations and victims. Jehovah will deal with them. As far as Christanity being the house of God, I'd say it is, yes, and it's got wheat and weeds mixed as Jesus parable said it would. It's the angels job to separate them.
As for Christendom being Christianity, just check the history. The head of that troop was a full fledged sun worshipper, non Christian pagan Roman Emperor Constintine. He wasn't even baptized. How can a church, headed by a Pagan be "Christian". Christendom is a church of a pagan Roman Emporer. So, he got baptized on his deathbed, he was pagan when he established Christendom. Christ Jesus is the head of Christianity. The head of a nation or people or religion determines its nature and purpose. The head of a religion reveals its god.
