I faded 2 yrs ago, I stopped donating several years ago. I always had a feeling in my bones that something wasn't right
with this organization. It feels so good to be free. Thank You for How You explain everything.
Me too, attending their meeting for me is already great sacrifice too. I cannot withstand to sit down at the meeting for hours.

@@adans.8697 there is no copyright on spiritually and no organization can claim to be the only holders of that. Especially since we have a history of those since the days of Paul and many decades, centuries and millenniums later. As someone that spent 8 months attending and studying with this group, I felt less spiritual than I did attending an outdoor revival meeting. When Jesus is not the center, there can be no spiritually as He is the only one through which we are saved.
When I left JW in 1990, I saw some changes that I didn't understand and ask for help, but the brothers said the same things - To pray to Jehovah. I was heartbroken to the extent I said to myself "Where should I go"? The last few statements you said brought tears to my eyes. Thank you brother...

The Great Crowd are not as the JWs have you believing the other Sheep why because there would be no need for the question asked by the elder because he would have known that Christ had other Sheep, so the Great Crowd or Multitude must be All Christians that are deemed worthy to survive the Tribulation in the eyes of Christ. What are the billions upon billions of angels that exist in heaven for. The Kingdom of Christ Jesus is for what purpose? Will all humans be kings and priest in heaven? Who will they rule over? Yes, the great crowd would be those who survive the great tribulation/Armageddon. This is nothing new and was brought out in detail by the GB many years ago.
I remember sitting at a meeting one day and I remember them passing a piece of paper to everyone, and you we’re supposed to write down in that paper how much you we’re going to give each month…sounds like asking for money to me

Never been subjected to that, maybe since I left the JW's years ago. Why I hated the Presby Plate passing Church my dad took us to when I was younger. He really tried hard, and I have to give it to him, he wanted to raised his children as Christian, but he didn't have the tools.

When God "fails to provide necessary funds. We will understand it to be time to suspend the publication." That declaration was both a courageous and a most admirable demonstration of faith, trust and confidence in the backing of the Almighty God, who is supreme, and in the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society as His instrumentality. The request to pledge a specific amount as a regular donation, makes a mockery of that trust, and represents a lack of faith in Gods ability to provide as proof of His backing. You are absolutely right to question the WBTS. Is God Backing the Organization as they claim? The governing body has clearly failed to meet their own standard. A standard by which they have judged others. An honest person when proved wrong, will either stop doing the wrong, or he will stop being honest.
What a loving provision that the suggested amount is only per ACTIVE publisher. They should really be thanking us faders for helping to eliminate their expenses.

How it started, who was the person who started 🤔 it, what was he really about as well as his successor. What ideals was this organization founded on, what time frame was this ALL STARTED? ( CULT ERA). Yes, my friend you can give your money 💰 to ANY ORGANIZATION OR PERSON THAT YOU WANT TO. THAT'S YOUR FREE WILL. One thing that I do know for a FACT, some people don't mind being scammed. I directly help a widow with children. I will not rely on charitable organizations, hope unfounded or somehow Jehovah's Witnesses will find her and donate freely to help. I give from what I have earned, because I follow what Jesus and the Bible says. It is in my hand, to do. The Watchtower has become the bad shepherd. Let them sell their Cadillacs. Let them stop buying expensive whisky and expensive clothes and building on the backs of free labor only to sell those same Kingdom Halls and retain the money.

Yes. I know this first hand. I knew of a JW family who had a fatherless boy and not one of the members in the congregation ever spent time with that individual, took him out, or invited 🤔 to any of the congregation gatherings ect. The members are just as hypocritical as their leaders. They all talk a lot of 🗑 trash and when it comes down to it, JWS act more like hypocrites than Christians

Yet they take and never help the needy they say they are helping by bringing the good news to them. .Even Jesus knew to feed the people when they were hungry by increasing the fish. Indeed. The elders are not allowed to help individuals in the congregation with donated funds. Any help has to come from members' pockets. The organization takes all the contributions to use as they see fit.

Yers and yers of bible study with JW and I couldn’t get to further and I was praying God to help me understand and be convinced. I even stop reading the bible because I was getting more confused,lots of things didn’t make sense,felt contradictory but I believed it was the only way and desperately wanted my children to believe too l never realised I was believing to 8 men. My son was telling me it was a cult and show me from the internet what was going on. I felt ashamed for trying to involve others to believe in this religion when I found out about the paedophile situation and then the truth came like a flood and I felt free and I thank God for not had proceeded up to baptism but I don’t regret that I was involved because I wouldn’t have had the opportunity for knowing the bible. Many of us have to admit that we owe them at list that. My God open they minds and thank you Erik for your work l love your meticulous explanation of the scriptures God will recompense you even for past years you worked so hard for a lie. 🙏🌷

I agree. He really is brilliant. He hones in on a glitch in Watchtower, then explores it, dismantles it into its components, and points out how Watchtower rigged the components together... hiding the fact that there was a glitch...and that Watchtower's invention doesn't really work.

The widower should have been the one receiving help, but those religious leaders were good at pressuring and guilting the widower to donate. Read the context around that scripture. The Watchtower uses this scripture regularly to do the same.

Plant an innocuous seed of truth that may grow, such as "Why do the witnesses show angels having wings?" And then "Can you show me from the Bible as I have never seen it?" They will not be able to and so it may begin if they are really wanting truth.
Show them Mathew 12:50, to see who Christ’s brothers actually are, Jesus said, “ anyone who does the will of my Father’ (Yahweh God) is my brother and sister ‘“ - According to the Watchtower only 144,000 are Christ’s brothers ( sisters is rarely mentioned) Therefore, the ‘other sheep class are not doing The Father’s will? Yet Watchtower states that going door to door is doing God’s will; going to JW meetings is doing God’s will, sticking to and association with them is doing God’s will. They are clueless! Or lying! Their two type of Christian teaching is against God’s will. There is one hope, either you are a member of Christ’s body ( his congregation, his waiting bride ) or you are those who will not be ready and will loses out, the door will be shut and those outside are gnashing their teeth and or wailing.
Finally someone agrees with me I was part of the so-called witnesses about 10 years in these guys were always asking for money they treat the organization It’s like a business honestly these guys are full of hypocrites and when you criticize them they always played the victim

That Watchtower has established a "per publisher amount" based on the number of active publishers is shocking...or perhaps it "should be" shocking. But Watctower's hypocrisy is so well-documented now that, for those of us who are awake, almost nothing they do shocks us anymore. They have "lost all sense of shame".
Ephesians 4:17-19 says, "17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sense of shame, they have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity, with a craving for more."

If they would just get rid of shunning then the Pimos could leave and they would need to maintain less halls.
Truth!! The pimos are helping in the down fall more than they could have ever imagined. Withholding contributions and sending info from the inside to activists. Still if they do let the PIMOs go with dignity, they will not rebound like they did in 1975. Too much has been done and there no keeping quiet about it. Because of their fear and stubborness, I feel that the silence by shunning will stay in place until the government publicly shame them and make them do it.
They already maintain less halls. They been selling them all off as quick as they can before the JW rank and file realize what a scam it is. Watchtower is going for a biggest cash grab they can and getting out.

It sounds like you have landed here just in time. A JW aunt who I liked called me by phone and asked me some carefully lined up "entrapment" questions over the phone. That was about seven years ago. Before she got to the last "clencher" question, I "saw it coming" and poltely ended the conversation. So I dodged the bullet. She never oontacted me again. I still wonder somtimes if the elders gave her those questions or if she composed them herself. It's beyond comprehension, but they think they are doing the Lord's work.

I left. I haven't joined any other church but I believe our heavenly father is looking after me and my family spiritually and financially. He is giving us our bread everyday.
It's hard to leave as there are some wonderful brothers and sisters. I felt really sad for leaving the older ones. The ones who lived through WW2. They were much more appreciative of the word, only from my experience.
Don't worry, Jehovah will look after you. He will never let you down.
Hi Derek thanks for this video. I left the organization and not joined any other denomination. What do others who leave do or go other than follow the gospel and Jesus's commands. When I was a witness I did field service and attended all the meetings zealously until I woke up, now nothing, what do others who wake up do? Thanks for all the effort you put in your explainations, it's comforting for my mental state, it's not easy leaving after 34 years.

There are many and I mean many people in the world who say they hear God’s voice telling them to commit violence against another human and getting praise from fellow followers and feeling what they did was Gods wishes . So much for speaking to God .The God in the Bible is an organized God and anything he does is in an organized way not left to chance .
When people speak of truth where do they get it , they have to get it from somewhere and not from what they think truth is if that is so than that is just an opinion.

They are spending millions on settlements, legal fees and court costs but they don't mention this. They are building new media centres when what they already have is sufficient. Then they ask others for the money to meet those costs, putting the burden on them. That never works our well.
Then there's the mindset that if they tell the Brothers to use a two inch brush to paint, regardless of how inefficient it might be shows a severe lack of being reasonable.

Thanks so much Eric. Quite horrifying. The 55m magazines were sold, not given away. There was a huge revenue from that and from book sales. Looking back I now realise how bad that was.
Keep in mind at the height of the magazine price (if I remember correctly) the suggested "donation" was 25 cents. Multiply that by the 55 million and you get $13,750.00 EVERY MONTH!! As we all know the literature was not given to us. We had to pay for it in advance before it got "placed" to the public. So this money was GUARANTEED income for watchtower every month. Having to go to the donation method (IRS) cost them dearly. This truth along with the lawsuits, apostates and PIMOs eating their lunch causes a better understanding of why they are so desperate for money. They're so desperate they would risk having to eat their own words by demanding specific, mandatory, monthly donations from not just every baptized witness; but, from every publisher! Add to this the selling of so many kingdom halls and you get a more accurate picture of how bad things are financially for the dark tower.

You can simply tell them you're donating what your mom can afford according to her needs and budget. With the price of everything going higher. Even what seems to be the small amount of $8.25 may actually be beyond some people's ability to give.
So true and it wasn't just the public, they had a ready made 'subscription service' with the JWs themselves. A regular service of selling literature to their own members by having them study the Watchtower's and a study book as well as the ministerial meeting, the song books and bibles. It kept a continual, expected and regular flow of money coming in.
Russell's statement about begging for money was also repeated in 2014's "God's Kingdom Rules!"

Each of us has a different reason or combination of reasons that came together to wake us up. Jehovah and Jesus have been watching and listening. We finally reach the point where we can no longer tolerate the sins of Watchtower. We know, deep withing ourselves, that something is dreadfully wrong. And then, in complete reliance on Jehovah, we let go of the supposed "safety of the ark" of Watchtower. It's the best decision we've ever made.

The problem I see with begging for more money, is most of us have simplified our lives being comfortable with just sustenance and covering. We follow their admonition by not going to college there for most of us do not have higher paying jobs because we did not get educated to work those jobs.
So all of his begging is like Squeezing the turnup as hard as you can and only a couple drops come out. We haven’t invested in this system, because our focus is on kingdom preaching and relying on Jehovah for the minimum. So they can start playing out the guilt all they want but you can’t squeeze blood out of a turnip.
You´re simply the best of the x-jw;s scrutinizing the organization on the Interner. This was breaking news meaning "serious business". Thanks.
The costly attires, watches, rings, shoes, cars, liquors and penalty for child sexual abuses etc... etc., are borne by member's contributions. It's high time to ask elders ( when they ask for donation) the final audited Financial Papers of the Organization - to find out the exact Income and Expenditure.

Excellent video. I feel at the end there was an opportunity in answer to the question “where do we go?” by pointing JW’s to Jesus as the one to go to John 5:39-40. I think previously members of the congregations were given pieces of paper to write down how much they were prepared to contribute each month. No names were written on the pieces of paper. It now appears that they are now being told the amount they should contribute.
