Yes Livia knows she’s setting up her son to get killed. Being a mother is probably the best life experience to have in understanding Livia & her level of evil.
2:39. It means he wouldn't be in the FBI, he'd be a run-of-the-mill police officer, and he's there for a reason, and it is 'not' about the card game. "Can you believe this shit?", the agent is basically responding in the most sarcastic way possible, "No, we're just here to bust your stilly card game" because they all know that they're there for other reasons. 21:45. *chokes on Fruitloops*
The most bizarre thing to me about that conversation in the kitchen at the end (I forget the character names) is howrelentlessly horrible they are to each other, and yet do it with smiles as though it's perfectly fine. He has little but contempt for her, and she clearly loathes him but tolerates him as long as there's money for her. Yes, I know they aren't real, but it's sad to see two people who seem to think that's how relationships go.
Sorry but most of these RUclipsrs have seen the show. They are not even subtle about what they say involving key plot points They're acting is not that good.
You think she's seen it? Grew up in Belgium, born I think early 90s. Reaction youtubers definitely do lie about these things relatively often, but I don't personally believe she's seen this
Mary seems genuine. She’s very smart so she’ll pick up most major plot points easily. She’s a little lost on the small things like Italian culture or mob culture but this isn’t her native culture so it’s understandable. She’s also lost on the overarching plots & how they are all connected. Things most can’t grasp watching the 1st time.
@@theflyingfisherman7829 I can understand that. Horror shows are so pointless. Sopranos has violence but it’s far from a horror show. It’s the most thought provoking show ever made. She’ll learn more than she ever thought possible from a show. She’s already doing very well thinking these themes thru from a mother’s point of view.
Oh Olivia knows what she is saying a 100% lol

Glad you're enjoying the greatest TV show of all time.
its a shame most of whats going on is going over her head
You're lucky. You are watching the greatest TV series of all time!
Yes. Livia was the wife of a mafioso who rose to the rank of Captain. She knows exactly what she is doing. Everything she says is on purpose.
Momma Soprano is the essence of Machiavellianism.
Olivia realizes EVERYTHING. She's the devil.
It means that he's above regular cops, not there for a mundane game of cards...
Cops eating donuts is an American stereotype.

@@sg24336 That was implied when I mentioned run-of-the-mill police. But I suppose she may not have been aware of it.
@@sg24336 yes...because they're run of the mill cops aka officers in uniforms whilst they're agents of the FBI not just run of the mill cops......
@@audiogarden21 You should explain to her that it's a stereotype that American cops always chow down on doughnuts.
The falling down thing omfg 💀
I gasped lol

It is funny how first Time watchers give so much credit to Livia 😅!
Mary don't see the monster Livia was yet 👍
Awesome reaction of my favorite The Sopranos episode!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
The FBI agent made the remark about a donut because of the stereotype that all cops eat donuts.
After watching The Sopranos for a while you might see some of their "colorful" language seep into yours. Just say nay Mary, just say nay.
I personally would never say 'gabagool' in public...oh, damn.
Please continue with the Star Trek franchise.
What's up, Mary?
On my rewatch of the Sopranos, I didn't even like season 1, so if you like it, the rest is going to be a lot better.
You are in for a treat. 🎉
Le petit mort
Olivia is the worst.
I liked her better than Janice.. I got to the point I’d fast forward every scene with her in it
@@Kevin_Lazarfelt thattttt

She avoided watching this show because she hates horror. This is definitely a first-time watch.
