Some more details about Aerial and Bushido styles not covered in the video: - You can evade out of a bushido guard rather than attacking. - You can press R multiple times to bushido guard multiple hits in a row even before the bushido guard animation is finished. - In Aerial style, your shield is raised from when you vault off an enemy until you land or you attack. You can vault with more confidence than the other weapons since you can stay safe behind your shield and only attack if there's an opening or after you block the monster's attack. - Aerial style's joust charge jump attack does three hits instead of one, presumably for better mounting damage.
+PKrockin I was really disappointed with bushido lance until I discovered consecutive bushido guarding, like horey shet, it solves the biggest issue with guard lancing - monster attacks that deal multiple hits and therefore bypass counter. Bushido guard lance is my life.
I'm definitely gonna have to try that absolute evade lancing out. I picked evade lancing up a couple months ago, and I think I've gotten pretty good at it. I also can't wait for your Dual Blade tutorial. Been my favorite weapon ever since I first played Monster Hunter on the little iOS MH game.
I started lancing once I realized you can be Gurren Lagann. Crystalbeard set and the Gigadrill lance is insanely fun, even if it isn't the most functional.
For Screw Thrust, I would probably use a trap during Slaying quests, or meat for an exhausted monster (if it works on them) and would make sure to aim the thrust through the length of the body to ensure I get all the hits.
Thanks for this tutorial Gaijin, you really got me into a weapon I once found to be rather boring, but now I tear monsters apart with my beloved lance collection!
Man, I need to get into Lancing. I remember my first attempt at it in Monster Hunter Tri and only using it to use the Sharq Lance. Of course I was a teenager then who was impatient and then went on to use Long Sword and Switch Axe exclusively for a while. Thanks for helping bring such a cool hunting style to light for me!
Thanks for this video. I used the lance exclusively in MH4U and was confused when I lost the third thrust. I've only tried guild and bushido so far, so I'll try striker next and see if it's more what I'm used to. I'm glad to get a good description of the hunter artes.
Just got the demo, I don't normally use the lance but in this MH it's much more usable and I'm having a good bit of fun with it. I'm usually a Hammer, Charge Blade and Light Bowgun user but I may have to add Lance to the list with this game, that and Sword and Shield, the addition of Oils that you can add makes it a bit more appealing now..plus it's just fun to use a Shoryugeki on a monster.
Me watching both Arekkz Gaming and Gajin Hunter's weapon tutorial videos: So many diverse styles thanks to the hunter arts, so MANY time to try them all. ;) I plan on making the jump to Generations Ultimate after I earned the Iceborne platinum. And these videos will definitely come in handy.
May I ask what mixed set you are using at the beginning and at 5:16? I'm wondering what are great skills to use since the lance is very interesting and the fact it looks really nice to hunt with!~
Nice tutorial Gaijin, Lance is a awesome weapon. Depending on how you use it & the skills you bring, it can be extremely defensive or extremely aggressive. My main weapon is C.Blade, it complements my playstyle. If curious about Lance or any other weapon give it a shot, just don't use it on a powerful monster that will kick your ass, then blaming the weapon for sucking because you have no experience using it. Practice.
This tutorial encouraged me to try the lance in MH Genertions, I'll earn the basics in MH4U so I'll be ready for MHG. Plus the Glavinus Lance looks gorgeos, the same goes for Gunlance.
The irony... I just got kicked from a room just because I use lance as main! What a imbecile host... I have been using it since Mhfu I can master it well, know all the moves and strategies with it. Too bad people think it's a bad weapon.
Apex Konchu No that's the problem. They just look at raw damage and think it's crap. I play a lot of mh4u and I can remember one dude that had lance as main. Lovely name btw. :D
+Robin Bergström I fucking love lancers for two reasons: 1. When they get targeted by the monster, I know they can tank the damage so I can just keep whacking away. 2. They can play the Gunlance counterpart that I can only dream of getting into. So whenever I see a lancer in my room I make sure to be respectful as fuck of their lack of superarmor.
Love the videos gaijin. However, I was confused about Shield Assault. Your video says that you're invincible the entire time during the move (~7:50). However, I've been hit out of it (from an attack from behind) as well as stopped in my tracks (like a block animation) by a powerful attack (the Nibelsnarf's wind/air blast from the front). Granted, I was only using Shield Assault I, but from what I can tell higher versions of it just increase the distance charged. Any idea on what's going on? Was this changed from MHX to MHGen?
7:15 So, if you whiff on the Adept Guard, you're worse off then if you blocked with a different style? Was thinking of trying Adept Lance, but this gives me second thoughts, as I'm not always perfect on the timing. Does this apply to Charge Blade as well?
I like the Lance a lot, although to me it feels like a less powerful Gunlance with less options, it is insanely fun to use, especially with the new strong thrust.
i was skeptical about that triple thrust at first, but man. that is a TON of damage for a fairly short animation. not to mention how powerful that will be against an elemental weak-point. sure, it throws off the rhythm, but its still going to be pretty accessible.
What's the problem with the strong thrust? I thought I heard, before release, some talk of it having super armor so some lancers were looking forward to it.
+MrAgentIncognito The problem is just that it interrupts the 3-stab rhythm that the lance used to have, making it a bit difficult to evade lance. Personally I like the change because of the super armor and because I don't like evade lancing as much as guard lancing.
+MrAgentIncognito I personally like the third stab because, as someone who uses Gunlance over Lance, the timing feels like the downward chop you get in gunlance after two forward thrusts. This allows me to get into Lance relatively easily without too much trouble because the timing is still familiar to me.
+MrAgentIncognito I don't really agree with what people are saying about the "rhythm". The problem is that it's just slow. The one-two-strong combo does more DPS, yes, but you're not going to actually land that third hit often. By the time you get through two stabs and the long windup to the third one, the monster is usually already repositioning itself causing you to whiff or bounce. That said, Bushido counter is sex so I deal with it.
Thanks for the video Gaijin. I've been using Lance as one of my mains in MHX and I personally don't mind the new 3rd thrust, I can cancel out of it with a backhop if I need to, otherwise it's satisfying to use. I mainly use Bushido, in the hopes that it helps me to learn to guard more often. I find the timing for the counter a bit fiddly and was unaware I could change direction with it. I might try out Striker since it seems to be the old Lance, but otherwise I'm not too excited by Guild or Aerial. I did use Aerial lance on Najarala and it was fun for a change, but it played a bit too 'wild' for lance IMO. I love the screw thrust, though I tend to whiff it often.
I could find some uses for the Aerial style, like using it with Status/Elemental Lances could allow for quick application of statuses or good amount of elemental damage dealt, due to the quick & spamable jump attacks; would be especially effective against monster that have elementally weak spots on there backs.
EX Rathian S is the set to go for if you want proper guard lancing. Also Gaijin Hunter didn't know this when he made the video, but the super thrust gives Super Armor which means the lance can finally poke a Kirin alongside his team mates without being trip-locked by them. (FINALLY)
Thank you for this. Really thought the Guild Style would be the traditional one and striker having the strong thrusts. The sideswipe I guess is a compromise to lose that, but argh! Just as I've actually started to use it more often against small mobs :3 My only issue with the strong thrust was only that it is a very unorthodox attack in the whole series. No other melee weapon really has a physical attack that does three hits. Sure there's C.blade/S.axe attacks that have bursts that do more hits, but when a blade connects- no other weapon does this and it's weird. The game has always been very animation based action and this attack changes that somewhat. It's a minor thing and I'm not saying that it's bad, people seem to enjoy it a lot. It's just not my cup of tea :3
i didnt thought that the weapon is strong maybe i will try it nice video like always hope the next tutorials will be that good hope you will do gl or db soon :D
So many weapons to choose from, they all look great...if it gets released into the West I'm probably picking up Bushido Lance. No guard skills required sounds beautiful as a guard lancer.
I think there is a mistake in the guild style control part (or maybe it's just me mishearing it) --> While you are in the charge attack (special attack) I think it is "push up on the circle pad + b" you can do a jump while you are running. "
As much as I love the Dual Blades and Charge Blade, the Lance has a very special place in my hunter's heart since it was my first main weapon back in Freedom Unite.
I cant really find this information anywhere ive looked thus far so i ask here Does the lance still retain the ability to swap between impact and cutting damage based on the monsters part being weaker to one or the other damage or does lance only do cutting damage in this specific game ?
Hey gajin! Incredible video, extremely detailed and very insightful. There's something I've been confused on and I'm hoping you can clear it for me. I was playing striker lance in the demo and it was a blast. It felt quite fluent and powerful and I even had my best speed run times with it despite being a Ig main. However, one move in particular has be been confusing me. The counter when you hold down R+A. When I counter a powerful move and I go onto the triple thrust attack, it's angled upwards as if I did it using the A combo in any other style save striker. However, I'm not entirely sure how it it happened but while I was fighting narga, I did the counter and it went into a straight strong thrust rather then a upwards one. Why is that? If it's a specific input to do it, could you please tell me as landing the forward strong thrust is easier then the upwards one and knowing how to do that could be quite helpful.
+gaijin hunter same question most of the time when i use r+a after the guard my counter attack is an A thrust but sometimes it just thrust forward like X attack
Been playing Generations demo, and I'm definitely maining Lance/G. Lance. SnS and GS will still be used throughout but i want to try new weapons. Possibly Bow as well.
so stryker style lost the running leap? I was trying to figure out why I couldnt do that last night? Is there a decent write up on countering with the lance?
my lancing set has mind's eye, stam recovery, marathon runner, blunt/ airborne(for aerial lancing), and (element) +2/ status +1. and for HB weapon just a standard set razor sharp, crit eye +2, crit boost and tender
You mention the guard degrading with adept style if you sit there constantly guarding. Does this get negated with guard? guard up? Does it last all the time when guarding or only 1 second or 2 after the wind up?
Hi, I just came back here to refresh myself on the lance after not playing for a good while, and it seems that for guild style, you say that to jump, you press B while charging, however you also say that B while charging is how you stop, i realise it's been a year, but could you clarify this point?
I personally like guild over bushido, the fact that I can cancel a thrust into a counter on reaction makes my attacks safer, and I have more window to counter ,my normal guard isn't downgraded and have 1 more slot for hunter art(which is great for lance) makes me like the guild style more
Hey I thought I remembered the "swipe" attack (X+A) being weaker than a normal standard thrust in previous Monster Hunter games. But you showed its motion value as 20 (same as the standard thrust) does that mean its just as strong and its no longer weaker or am I missing something?
Im definatly going to be a Striker Lancer when i get generations although i wont be evading as much as a should, ill probably gem in an extra Guard+1 to block mists and laser beams
Hey Gaijin Hunter, I am new to lance and am trying to learn it. Im just wondering what skills are essential to the weapon and what end game armor sets are good.
can you use a bushido guard after and attack like the counter? if not then maybe I will not use as aggressively as I do with guild. the idea of stop attacking in to a counter is really great and unless that is the case there uses are not the same and they will be hard to compare
I actually prefer guild to adept style for the lance. In Adept style, you have no way to quickly guard point while attacking, meaning you can't just cut your combo short to block an attack by doing the charge attack mid combo. Not only that, but the special guard interferes with the advancing forward + X guard, slowing it down quite a lot since you have to go through that fumbling animation before you can do the move. It means you have to spend a lot of time in a neutral position waiting for the monster to throw out an attack so you can Just Guard it, as opposed to guarding while you attack as you normally would for guild lance.
You still can do the advancing guard in adept style without going through the fumbling animation by pressing forward R + B at the same time (as opposed to holding R first) It takes a little getting used to but you can definitely do it.
Hi, first time I comment on one of your videos and I must say that I really like your work. I have a little question, can't seem to find any answer on the internet : does guard skills boost your counter? Does your counter have the same power as your normal guard or is it stronger? (meaning if there's an attack that makes you go back when you guard it, will you be able to counter it or will the counter fail and you'll go back too)
oh ok, thx for the fast reply, because i tried on 2 different monsters and I didn't see a significant difference (tigrex roar/spin and mizutsune with tail whip)
I've really wanted to find an answer for a while, and unfortunately it kind of went glazed over in this video, so I'll just ask straight up; is Aerial Lance any fun? Considering how removed it is from both Guard and Evade Lancing, I've been wanting to know if Aerial Lancing is actually a suitable thing to call the new third lancing style, or if it's a gimmick that falls on its face compared to how Aerial is with, say, Greatsword, Charge Blade, Insect Glaive, etc.
+Cobalt Kirikizan The nice thing about Aerial Lance that GH didn't mention is that while you're in the air you're guarding the whole time unless you attack, just like if you do the shield advance off a ledge, so jumping is a lot safer. Another thing he didn't mention was that the joust charge jump attack also becomes three hits for more mounting shenanigans, though I don't know the motion values. And personally, the forward hop is way cooler than the back hop.
+Cobalt Kirikizan Hmmm see, based on my ample experience desperately trying to enjoy aerial lance, I just can't find it fun... Maybe it's just me, but unless you're using the hop jump attack constantly, it feels exactly like guild (minus a hunter art and shield advance), but if you are using it constantly, it's just using the same attack over and over. So to answer your question, at least from my perspective, aerial lance is just gimmicky and really doesn't add much to lance.
+Arcturiel “Arc” Etherealis Just to elaborate, you can't guard lance well without guard advance, you can't evade lance well without backhop imo, so to avoid and deal damage most efficiently you have to constantly do the hop jump attack, kinda boring and repetitive. Just my take.
Arcturiel Etherealis Damn it. I was genuinely hoping it'd actually be alright. Maybe if they gave you more options in the air, d'you think that'd solve the issue? Like you could three-hit thrust with X, some sort of three-hit shield bash combo that keeps you in the air a bit like aerial Hammer that can actually do alright impact/knockout damage on A inputs, shield up with R, or maybe just make a huge tactical hop backwards or to a side with B. I 'unno, just thinking out loud here.
Cobalt Kirikizan Well even one extra attack option would make it interesting enough to play imo, atm there's do nothing to block midair (shield always up till you strike) and press X to air attack, XA to charge, it's really nothing special since you can do all of that using a ledge anyway. So yeah if they added an A option it might be worth it but as it is it's boring, unfortunately.
Hey gaijin i have a question as a gunner, can u make a tutorial for all the new implicated shot types and what they are good for or can u explain them in a normal tutorial for lbg and hbg? would be awesome
I would love to get into lance and I've used it quite often as of late, but I just can't get the timing down for the adept guard. n_n; With that in mind, if you were limited to Aerial Greatsword or Adept Lance which would you choose and why?
Hey Gaijin, I just found a trick that may or may not help when playing lance -- put down a Large Barrel Bomb+ and a Small Barrel Bomb next to it, then use Enraged Guard to block the explosion. It gives you yellow charge on your lance, but it's pretty situational...maybe use it for a sleeping monster?
So basically: Guild if you like Guard lancing, but want to go for a more "Hit&Run" approach with a status weapon. Striker if you like Evade Lancing and want to stick onto the enemy. Bushido if you love Counter Lancing. and Areal if you didn't like the backhopping of the Lance. I think Bushido and Striker will be the most popular, followed by Areal and then Guild.
Really hope lance is popular when MHX/MHXU comes over here. I meet maybe one or two lance users a week when playing online. This weapon needs more use.
Hey Gaijin, Im going lance as my main for Monster Hunter Generations. What style should I go for guarding? I want to get Bushido for it's counter ability, but I like the traditional 3 hit combo since Mh1.
Have you perhaps planned for a Gunlance Tutorial? I barely used it in 4U, it felt like a 'butchered' lance and I only ever used Normal types because it was fun to abuse Full Burst :) But MHX actually introduced some functions that may make Gunlance feel Unique, and not just a knock-off of the Lance style of play :D
in a random hunt, i reached 463 atk on my lance. was using a set with bludgeoner, mind's eye and atk up L, a spiked javelin, atk up food, a horn user pulled an atk +20% song, and i managed to get the max damage on my enraged guard 3 (guard rage III). 3 whole minutes of 463 atk lancing. imagine 3 lances and a horn
Okay this might be nitpicking but when the hunter has a shadow will it show a generic shadow for all armors and weapons or will they be unique depending on your weapons and armors.
I got a question with guard rage, when you successfully do it is there a way to tell what kind of attack you blocked? I mean like the color. example: blocking a Rathalos fireball do that give you medium and there is a color for it.
You've probably figured this out by now, but red aura=small attack +10% extra damage Orange aura=medium attack +20% extra damage Yellow aura=strong attack +30% extra damage
A Striker Lancer can "Side Swipe". The only moment a striker Lancer could side Swipe is right after a guard counter attack (without getting hit while guard countering). Then afterwards it could do a side Swipe.
Is Lance viable without Guarding skills? I want to use Striker style without them. It's hard to get the right armor sets for that, at least ones that are strong early game.
So if i understand this right, you never need block+1/block+2 when you are bushido-guardind cause you block every attack? Eighter i block to late or somthing else cause it rly looks like i need block+1/+2 even with bushido guard... May some1 help me?
I love this video but the objective best set would be: Super Crit Crit+2 (or 3 if God charm) Weakness exploit Razor sharp. That set blows AuL, WE, RE out of the water especially since you'll be doing so much charge-spamming.
Aerial style: 5:42
striker style: 6:07
Adept style 6:46
Arts: 7:40
Compared Arts: 8:47
Some more details about Aerial and Bushido styles not covered in the video:

+PKrockin So you can perform an "Evo moment #37" with bushido guard?
+Psaakyrn GW lol, yes.
+PKrockin I was really disappointed with bushido lance until I discovered consecutive bushido guarding, like horey shet, it solves the biggest issue with guard lancing - monster attacks that deal multiple hits and therefore bypass counter. Bushido guard lance is my life.

Got the demo a couple of days ago and lance is one of the most enjoyable weapons so far. Super aggressive. Might be maining it this time around.
Any chance you have an extra :)
+Matthew Assuncao No sorry, I bought my code through the Humble Bundle.
Damn, well it was worth a try. Im gonna go cry In a corner. I cant wait 4 more days.....

Quick question about bushido lance: Does the perfect block have guard up on it? I haven't seen any mention on whether or not it does.
+scorpiopede I've tried to bushido guard Agnaktor's beam without Guard Up and it doesn't work.
I think there is a mistake in the guild style control part (or maybe it's just me mishearing it) --> While you are in the charge attack (special attack) I think it is "push up on the circle pad + b" you can do a jump while you are running. "
I picked up Striker Lance first thing when I got my copy - it's SO GOOD.
can you block normally unblockable atacks with the bushido guard?
or you still need guard up?
+Julián Oliver you still need guard up for all that stuff :'c
As much as I love the Dual Blades and Charge Blade, the Lance has a very special place in my hunter's heart since it was my first main weapon back in Freedom Unite.
I cant really find this information anywhere ive looked thus far so i ask here
Does the lance still retain the ability to swap between impact and cutting damage based on the monsters part being weaker to one or the other damage or does lance only do cutting damage in this specific game ?
Commenting because I also wanna know
You forgot to say that the lance charge jump is Up+B.
+Renutus 15 of it's a medium to higher damage attack you guard it results int eh triple I believe
+gaijin hunter same question most of the time when i use r+a after the guard my counter attack is an A thrust but sometimes it just thrust forward like X attack
I believe that's determined by whether or not you hold forward while doing the counter.
+FlamingTails oh ok ill try it
1:50 Thanks for making me smile.
the aerial run jump hit is x3 too, but the other styles have only one hit, this is low damage (15*3) but good to stats and element
What armor are you using for 5:20 and onwards?
At first I thought that the weapon would be a laurel but I guess woah, it's more of a Sara!!!
Been playing Generations demo, and I'm definitely maining Lance/G. Lance. SnS and GS will still be used throughout but i want to try new weapons. Possibly Bow as well.
***** ive only used gunners in MH lol and that is sometime long ago. Will try other varieties of weapons.
GH we need a personal tutorial of them sick side step dance moves
Definitely thinking about dual maining striker lance with bushido long sword
so stryker style lost the running leap?
Im definatly going to be a Striker Lancer when i get generations
although i wont be evading as much as a should, ill probably gem in an extra Guard+1 to block mists and laser beams
1:50 video link?
Dinovaldo's lance is so beautiful. * o *
ATTENTION !!!
The Lance charge consumes 2 units of sharpness per hit (during the charge and on finishers)
You still can do the advancing guard in adept style without going through the fumbling animation by pressing forward R + B at the same time (as opposed to holding R first) It takes a little getting used to but you can definitely do it.
well, it's all about patience bruh
Hi, first time I comment on one of your videos and I must say that I really like your work. I have a little question, can't seem to find any answer on the internet : does guard skills boost your counter? Does your counter have the same power as your normal guard or is it stronger? (meaning if there's an attack that makes you go back when you guard it, will you be able to counter it or will the counter fail and you'll go back too)
+Bourgit guard does help what you can counter and yeah it's the same as your. Or a guard, no special boost :)
oh ok, thx for the fast reply, because i tried on 2 different monsters and I didn't see a significant difference (tigrex roar/spin and mizutsune with tail whip)
Your videos are so pro, man!
I am sorry but is the Bushido/adept guard just triggered by timing the guard at the moment of the hit?
Jesus i can't wait longer for this game
waiting for gun lance I still don't get how much damage the melee attacks gain in red gauge, love your tutorials
I would love to get into lance and I've used it quite often as of late, but I just can't get the timing down for the adept guard. n_n;
With that in mind, if you were limited to Aerial Greatsword or Adept Lance which would you choose and why?
Hey Gaijin, I just found a trick that may or may not help when playing lance -- put down a Large Barrel Bomb+ and a Small Barrel Bomb next to it, then use Enraged Guard to block the explosion. It gives you yellow charge on your lance, but it's pretty situational...maybe use it for a sleeping monster?
The X, and a sideswipe won't work for me. Is something wrong with my 3ds, or is it my style?
So basically:
Guild if you like Guard lancing, but want to go for a more "Hit&Run" approach with a status weapon.
Striker if you like Evade Lancing and want to stick onto the enemy.
Bushido if you love Counter Lancing.
and Areal if you didn't like the backhopping of the Lance.
I think Bushido and Striker will be the most popular, followed by Areal and then Guild.
That's what I see as well :)
Really hope lance is popular when MHX/MHXU comes over here. I meet maybe one or two lance users a week when playing online. This weapon needs more use.
1:50
I don't know why...
But this was funny to me...
Good Job
Lance looks SO good I think I may try it. I tried Gunlance, but the ONE back hop. ;-;
+Miguel Soares sup kid, did i hurt your feeling on the last comment XD
What?
+Cephadrome gunlance trades mobility for sheer raw power... especially in mhx. its shelling and all them new moves
dragonfable66 Yes! Now I want to try the FUNlance! But my skills with Lance aren't very good, so I'll keep practicing.
Cephadrome i made the perfect lance set that combines guard lancing and evade lancing now im pro ;P
Hey Gaijin, Im going lance as my main for Monster Hunter Generations. What style should I go for guarding? I want to get Bushido for it's counter ability, but I like the traditional 3 hit combo since Mh1.
anyone know what armor set is he wearing for the demo part?
Have you perhaps planned for a Gunlance Tutorial? I barely used it in 4U, it felt like a 'butchered' lance and I only ever used Normal types because it was fun to abuse Full Burst :)
But MHX actually introduced some functions that may make Gunlance feel Unique, and not just a knock-off of the Lance style of play :D
in a random hunt, i reached 463 atk on my lance.
was using a set with bludgeoner, mind's eye and atk up L, a spiked javelin, atk up food, a horn user pulled an atk +20% song, and i managed to get the max damage on my enraged guard 3 (guard rage III).
3 whole minutes of 463 atk lancing. imagine 3 lances and a horn
Okay this might be nitpicking but when the hunter has a shadow will it show a generic shadow for all armors and weapons or will they be unique depending on your weapons and armors.
When MHX/MHG comes out, can you make a updated "My favorite weapon" video (s)? Thanks!
Any word on the Bow tutorial? :3
+Reid Vx his twitter said hes guna do great sword next
I got a question with guard rage, when you successfully do it is there a way to tell what kind of attack you blocked? I mean like the color. example: blocking a Rathalos fireball do that give you medium and there is a color for it.
You've probably figured this out by now, but red aura=small attack +10% extra damage
Orange aura=medium attack +20% extra damage
Yellow aura=strong attack +30% extra damage
Bazzadin yeah i did, but thanks anyway. :D
are you positive that guild lance has the jump from charge attack?
This is one weapon which seems good in all 4 styles depending on preference.
A Striker Lancer can "Side Swipe". The only moment a striker Lancer could side Swipe is right after a guard counter attack (without getting hit while guard countering). Then afterwards it could do a side Swipe.
Gaijin hunter, i know its late, but whats your skill set when using spiked javelin in the video ?
so can i still run Evasion +3 and phase in and out of reality? this was my favorite feature of lancing in MH4
Is there a release date for NA MHX yet? Im so mad we dont have it yet and i cant get the Japanese one >_
I love this video but the objective best set would be:
Super Crit
Crit+2 (or 3 if God charm)
Weakness exploit
Razor sharp.
That set blows AuL, WE, RE out of the water especially since you'll be doing so much charge-spamming.
What was that music video?
Does anybody have tips for Aerial Lance? Been trying it out and I have become a pretty big fan.
