Sohyang is an amazing artist and human being 🤩
Simply a masterpiece. Incredible stamina from this slight, beautiful lady.
I think the reason her fans love her so much is that in addition to her incredible technical skills she is 100% genuine, this is was a great performance and the character she was playing is herself. It was like an eight minute autobiography, and it's impossible to imagine another singer attempting this arrangement. As a matter of fact she's never performed it again herself and I would give anything to have been in the audience that night.

Great reaction. Through the performer's emotions, she was able to transcend language and give us the message of the music indeed! Its one of my favorite performances of hers.

I'm not a professional musician, but I heard that bending notes is intentional, which makes songs rich especially in Gospel songs.

So Hyang is probably the most technical vocalist. Most balanced mix voice ever heard. Yes, agreed to this performance as being the most difficult vocally. But if you wanna see her go EXTREME. try first Lean on Me (Michael Bolton) and listen to Monalisa(Mask Singer), her most extreme vocal performance. You'll be floored. Guaranteed.

This is one of the hardest songs to cover. Not just she sang it with different languages, but also she kept going while staying in 5th octave for a long period… then to acapella, then singing (again in 5th octave).
Not so many singers can do that
As far as I know, this is the only time she sang this song in public, not before and not ever since.

You are very expert and do such a good job - especially in recognizing this special lady's talents. Thank you. Allow me to gush for a moment. I can't think of another singer who could perform this song, and I'm 84. After I saw it for the first time, corny as it sounds, I said in a Comment that God created a Supergirl - it is Sohyang and He gave her that cape to prove it. I think you'll agree that the last one and a half minutes of this performance are the essence of pure joy. Thanks again.

Epic!!! She took us on an emotional rollercoaster of a journey with this performance. Arguably the most technically challenging and emotional song she has ever sang. Seven minutes of intense stamina and breath control. Sohyang is next level. Thank you for the reaction.

Your thumbnail is misleading as it does not show the video was blocked and i was expecting to see her perform.
Come on man, when do you actually see reactors showing in their thumbnails that the video was edited with an effect or text layer?
Some don't even use an image from the actual video.
Also, all the facial expressions you see from me in my thumbnails (except from perhaps 2 or 3 reaction videos) are actual faces I make during my reactions and same basically goes for the text in the thumbnail, so please don't say my thumbnails are misleading cause I purposely try not to be misleading.
Also, the text layer I use over the video is a bit transparant so it's not like you can see nothing at all...
