So Hyang, so incredible! Yes she should get a sip of water after that! Truly remarkable! Thanks for another great reaction! This is a gospel song. She once sang it in a church in Brooklyn, NY and the congregation seemed to be half in shock, half transported into a magical place. I am not religious in the organized sense but So Hyang seems to take everyone to church at times!

The absolutely mental thing about this is it's a FECKIN encore,I can't think of anyone in the current group of what you would call elite vocalists who could do this live as part of a normal show never mind at the end of however long this show was, it's simply incredible.this woman is in her forties is 5'4 and probably weighs about 8st soaking wet😳she blows my mind ever time I see her.

This is my now favorite So Hyang performance, barely edging out "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Everyone". At the end someone translated what she said as "I poured it all out!" (Someone should verify). Any way she did give it her all!

It's a kind of gospel song. The title "upon this rock" is based on the motif of Jesus' words to build my church upon this rock. Sohyang has sung this song since her ages of 20s. The lyrics contain full powerful words of Jesus, she would've loved to sing everywhere. In that performance, she said that she sang this song for you to listen to, instead of watching old RUclips (which takes a low-quality video and sound). So don't worry to reuse her video, She may want to spread out through power reactors like you.^^

I am hoping someone told you by now but, SoHyang is a Christian singer and that song is in every church hymnal I have ever seen. You hear gospel because that’s exactly what it was. It’s not a movie song. Nothing fancy, just eons old and most people know it.
