The term "sex" does not exist in the Scriptures. We will find that in most places in Scriptures, the issues of a man and woman "hooking up" for that act, we read " the two shall be one flesh" and "marrying". Scriptures read that " as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the return of the Son of Man, they will be marrying and given in marriage." It has been addressed by Apostles that " he that joins himself to a harlot, has become one with her, for it is written the two shall be one flesh." Over and over again, we find the act called sex is in Scripture clearly called " two becoming one flesh"/"marrying". The act called sex is either marrying lawfully or marrying unlawfully ( fornication and adultery). Now, we haven't even addressed the "inordinate affections" that are often called sex acts, which are sinful. But is sex marriage? The answer is sex is marrying, the male and female becoming one flesh. Marriage is completed by the leaving father and mother/guardians, which is usually part of honoring the parents during the wedding, but mainly the couple cleaving to/ living with one another to the benefit of the fruit of the one flesh, the child who is the two in one body ( twins and multiple siblings included).

I'm late on this topic but came Into the truth about 3 years ago and this is now a topic between my spouse and I. Sex is not marriage but the consummation of marriage. We see in scripture a virgin always had a price Weatherby silver or what have you that was paid to her father. Fast forward modern day if the same Traditions exist I would love to see any brother in the truth go to sister's father and tell them that you are her husband because you have slept with her and see how that goes over. At the end of the day I see a lot of brothers making excuses to fornicate. At the end of the day you are carnal any righteous man would want to marry a woman the correct way and make her his wife.
I had to stop listening to your teaching. I am glad that you are diving into this topic but you said something that wasn’t correct. You said sex doesn’t make two individuals married but rather it’s just a portion of the process. That is incorrect. Sex is the consummation act. A wedding is just to celebrate that marriage. Think about Adam and Eve. I need you to revise this or delete this.

I had a discussion with a young girl upstairs from me. And she went to the scripture about when Christ called out the Woman on having 5 husbands. She believed that if from Christ perspective sex is marriage from there. I was honestly stomped from that point of view.

iNHD FILMS He had sex they were already to agree to marriage when she left her father’s house. If sex is marriage then what is raped? is rape not a sexual act not consent by one party? Dinah was raped and after the man wanted to marry but her brothers killed the entire tribe of men because of the deviant act. If sex is marriage then adultery also can not be possible. I will say that I'm not sure you dispelled the fact that sex is marriage. I will agree that, just like you said with a wedding, sex is only a portion of the marriage process. I believe that everyone I've heard say "sex is marriage" would agree with that as well; especially since all of the groups I know to back this have a particular process on how men and women are to come together in their organization.
I think you're missing the point that camps are trying get rid of the idea that "sex before marriage" is a sin, or that a such thing actually exists. However, remember at the same time they say this, they also reinforce that when you do lay with a woman you need to take her to be your wife. Camps aren't attempting to give out "have sex freely cards", they're trying to get men and women to abstain until they're ready to commit to a life long union.
Weddings and dowry were established, but in the beginning The Most High said two shall leave their house and become one flesh. I could be wrong, but the way I see it, sexual consummation remains to be that spiritual bond that fulfills what was established in the beginning.
Sex is a part of the covenant but not all of it. I get the goal but I just don't think the goal should come at the expense of the whole truth. If you have to trick someone into Torah it isn't for them. That is our problem. Always grabbing hold of people who don't want to transform fully. I don't think every person in a camp is bad, but I think they are all manipulating the truth to a fault in some of these areas, and I agree that it often starts with good intentions. Her Royal Roots I understand that I have not seen the things that you have, nor am I privy to the emails that you get from other women and their experiences. I appreciate you giving strength and piece of mind to women who feel they may have been taken advantage of, and others who may have left the truth without someone like you to feed them in the way you do. I however, don't necessarily see the trickery in some of the subjects you cover. I've heard the "sex is marriage" and the "women aren't allowed to teach" from the major camps and I just haven't heard it given in a manner that's solely intended to oppress. What they do behind closed doors may be another thing.
I see the "trickery" in the supposed "black" scriptures used for shock value, so I wouldn't disagree with you on there being some deception used.
If I agree with you on many levels, love you message, and delivery, what's the point? I guess the reason I commented is the same reason you made this video. I think it's a bit disingenuous for camps to use Jeremiah 14 and others to say Judah is black, when that's not the context of those scriptures. I feel it may be a bit disingenuous for you to tear down "sex as marriage" when it is an obvious component, AND to my knowledge, the process of marriage isn't exactly spelled out in Torah. What I mean by spelled out is: which components of the marriage process must be done to complete a spiritual connection in the eyes of The Most High. Is a marriage valid if no ceremony is done; what if no dowry is given? Can a man and his virgin live together without uncovering their nakedness, thus not fulfilling all of the concepts of marriage that you broke down in the understanding of the Hebrew words you brought out? What I can see is that Issac took Rebecca and she became his wife. This may not fulfill Torah, but it appears to be the bare minimum of two becoming one flesh; supported with Paul telling the congregation not to join themselves with harlots. If they do, it doesn't make the harlots their wives, but there is an underlying spiritual connection there. My point is not that sex is emphatically marriage, but that the idea or understanding behind "sex is marriage" is not defined by that phrase.

Man, this is how all of our interactions should be handled. We seem to forget that just because you may disagree or not completely understand someone's position, doesn't mean you need to disrespect them. Until all is revealed and we see clearly, we're all feeling around for the truth. Love it!
This is the understanding I have as well. I agree that the mentality being taught is to be certain that you want to spend your life with that person before having sex(marriage). I watched this sisters video on divorce and ironically left a Bible q and a last night where this was addressed. The elder gave scriptures that address adultery should a man and woman divorce under certain circumstances and those scriptures were not addressed in that video of hers so I was left a little confused.

Your video is more about the function and purpose of a proper marriage however the marriage is the act of sex with the very first partner. Deut. 22: 28, a virgin girl who is raped is automatically married to her rapist which means forced marriage. Sex =marriage.

Her Royal Roots shalom. Thank you again for your reply I was not expecting it that fast. I believe this message finds you well. I watched the video and it was very instructive and explicit. I actually am a bit new to all this and i thank Yah every day for having opened my all being towards his truth and I have decided to walk according to his Law. I decided to understand his commandments well and going through them I realised that to commit no adultery was part of them but in his Law there is no mention of sex before marriage, it might be mentioned in the scriptures but not in his Law. That is why I wanted to have more scriptures about that. Is it that he does not forbid it but tells us that if we decide to do it this are the consequences? Thus I wanted to know about those consequences or what is his stand exactly concerning this topic. I have been dating someone for 6 months and we never had intercourse and I would like to make him understand my stand about not having sex before marriage through the consequences Yah associates with it. Also I woke up this morning with a dilemma, I wanted to pray and when I took the bible I pushed it away systematically and a thought came to remind me that I am in my period. I read Leviticus this morning on my phone but it says nowhere that the woman that is bleeding through her flesh has to pray but in a different way when she is in that time of the month. It just put an accent on the fact that she is impure and everyone/everything that she touches becomes impure as well. Does that mean that there is no way i can pray during that period? I am sorry if I am writing to much but English is not my first language and we,French speakers tend to want to explain everything. I thank the Most High in advance for guiding your answers on this. The verse DO NOT MAKE MARRIAGES with them refers to marrying a HEATHEN Woman. Our FOREFATHERS married Women of their OWN KINDRED....

shalawam sister sex is marriage and psalms 19:5 is talking about the bridegroom coming out of the bed chamber not walking down the aisle. he had just had sex with his wife that is not talking about before they had sex it is talking about after...that's why before you lay with a men or women you should know that person because a women is not able to give a letter of divorcement only the man and he can only give it under certain circumstances so when you have sex you are married but it is just about acting like it and taking on the responsibilities that come along with it. It is about honoring that marriage.

Some remarks:
1) deuteronomy 22 28-29 is JUDICIAL LAW. It does not mean that he is married instantly when he had sex. There is said "he cant divorce her till end of his days". This means this man want just to "hook up" and when he had sex just for pleasure, he is stuck - this is PENALTY, he must be a husband for a woman he didint love!!! He is not married instantly , he is obligated to marry as a penalty for him. (anyway in OT man could have many wives)
So the problem is if juridicial law of OT apllies for today? Note that for adultery the penalty was stoning, for sex before marriage it was "forced marriage". Then what will You say about that: Jesus save the adulteorus woman from stoning? Do You think that Jesus will force people to marry after premarital sex? Yes, according to deuteronomy 22 28-29 he should because its pure justice , but the fullfillment of the law is mercy (if the sinner repent) .
2) Another thing is that there are 2 different word for "body" in New Testament - sarka and soma. Notice that in corinthians 6-16 there are two different words: "one body with harlot" is using soma, and "the two will become one flesh" is sarka. WHy is that?
3) In OT there are wives and concubines (pilegesh). Pilegesh is not a "full wife" , tell me what was statut of Hagar and her son - Ismael . Was she a wife to Abraham? NO. she was pilegesh. The wife of Abraham was Sarah.
4) Sex is symbol of covenant , not the covenant itself. Having sex without marriage is like having circumsicion but with no intention to be jew. Its like cheating, stealing, whatever. . Sex before marriage is like baptism without intention to follow Jesus Rules (for exmaple: i will baptise , but in heart i am Muslim, Jew, Atheist etc) - there was sign of covenant (bapism) , but it was lying, it wasn't in heart.
5) Marriage is "big mistery - like Jesus and His Church" . Jesus want to love Church, and vice versa. There must be a real commitment.

613 commandments were the law too at one time. Good thing that changed. Saved a lot of lives.
The 613 commandments are still the LAW. Sin is transgression of the law. Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” And if you read the 613 commandments they truly aren’t hard to follow. Most of them are simply centered around LOVE. That’s why loving thy neighbor is the 2 greatest commandment.

Sex is the act of marriage, note Deuteronomy 22:28-29.In other words, to make a long story short here, is to sum it all up in a nut shell that is to say, "sex constitute marriage."
How can sex be an act of marriage and marriage at the same time? If something = something else then in totality it has to weigh equal. Marriage is more than sex because people can lay with prostitutes and still not be married to them. Just a thought.
Again, once any fellow Israelite brother take a woman that is single to have sex with, he is suppose to make her his wife in becoming one in humbling her through sex, note for proof Deuteronomy 22:28-29.
Key word #suppose to make him brother, if he does not follow the prescribed process he has just defiled her. If sex was marriage that would be the end of the matter no additional things required as you stated that is not the case. And by the way a man just taking someone's daughter without permission is a violation hence him having to pay restitution to her father 50 shekels for his transgression #wife. Deut 22:29 Hence it is a violation to take someone daughter and just lay with them and claim she is your wife.
Only I in a Greco-Roman like society it may be, but if you would take out the time to look up the word humble, note the word should be a-nah which means to take by force, Deuteronomy 22:29.
Would have to disagree, in this society the 'black' man and 'woman' has lost a lot of their true sense of self. The value of your children are not to be taken lightly and any man who assumes he can 'take by force' someone's daughter and not pay a high price is disillusioned. That mentality is what by the way got us kicked out the land. With all we get may we get understanding.
