This chokes me up because I love this song so much...... When my little girl was a year old, she used to always ask us to sing it to her at bedtime. So we sang her to sleep every night for a long time. I lost my daughter aged just 28 to cancer. It's such a beautiful memory for us now, and it is even more special now. Thanks gents ❤

Now I want to go watch Soldier, Soldier My husband and I are great fans of British TV. This is the first song my husband and I learned in beginning choir in 1978, and Robson sounds just like my husband used to; It nearly dropped me to the floor, for many reasons. I have loved him in everything I have seen him in, but between the voice, the acting and those incredible eyes (and the accent, of course because every red-blooded woman in America gets weak in the knees, and the will for that matter, at the sound of a UK accent!) This is just too much for one man (and waaay too much for us women to handle!). I suppose British ladies are probably not as impressed as those of us across the pond, but y'all have far too many beautiful men and I think you should share them with the underprivileged cousins over here 😍😂😋

This song in particular is special because it was in the charts still when my Sister was born in February 1996 & I remember hearing it on the radio on the way to the hospital in the car to go & see mum & my new baby Sister & sadly she is no longer with us she passed away at 23 in 2019! I don't see how anyone could criticize this cover of "Unchained Melody". I can't get enough of it. I could watch Robson's good looks all day. He is my dream boy (well, back then, that is).

I'm not saying he's not singing .But in some cases its hard to know.I'm sure is Robson singing.But with a lot of singers thay use the voice changer that makes some singers sound like thay can when there awful.I'll not name names but one singer back than I Thot he was great but than I herd him singing live on TV and to be honest he was awful. So it was never his voice made him famous it was the voice changer.So that was so unfare and wrong really

A total of 3 other singers were used, some just for the high notes but their real voices do feature on the album but most of what we hear isn't them. But, this was very common back then or for guitarist would get replaced if the producer thought they weren't good enough.

I don't think the youngest today have those same emotional outlets. We had to manage with only the radio and early television. Our weekends were the pictures and dancing.grrsy days. Not so much the long walks home after words.
This song was written for the American people during the Korean "conflict." They had no more than come home from World War II when they became embroiled in Korea and this was written in an attempt to pick up their spirits. Not sure about that, it makes me cry every time I hear it!

Ok, so this song is the song that I listened too every time my siblings died. My mum has something wrong with her uterus and each baby she produced would die within a week. 4 babies died. My wife would play their CD while driving to her mother’s. It drove the kids mad. They’re 34/30 now and still remember those days!!! Lol.

Ok, so this song is the song that I listened too every time my siblings died. My mum has something wrong with her uterus and each baby she produced would die within a week. 4 babies died. And last year s beautiful baby girl was brought to this earth by my mum and dad and every time I listen to this song, I pray for her and my whole family 😭😭😭❤❤
