@@seanmurphy6136 The trailer to the new Batman movie with Robert Pattinson is enough to know he'll do a hell of a job playing Batman. I think he fits perfectly in the role. More people need to drop the Twilight saga and respect him for the amazing actor he is.
@@iulia.bianca.b agreed. Think he’s getting rid of the whole “twilight thing” and people are starting to remember him for others jobs as well. If you get remembered for playing Batman like a Bale or Keaton, then you know you did a hell of a job. Just like RDJ is remembered for iron man, Chris Evans for captain America, or Cavill as Superman
Seriously... somewhere out there, this video just made Robert Pattinsons day.
It's honestly a small miracle that Robert was able to get away from the type casting he got as Edward given how massive Twilight was. And given the bad rap it sometimes get. He's done a lot of very good work, and it would be a shame if he were only known for that. Thankfully Batman will help him be remembered for something else. But he has a lot of other memorable roles IF people actually see them.

That's actually one of the coolest things about this reaction.
I think a lot of RUclipsrs go into Twilight reactions believing they are going to dislike it, with the intent of ripping on it the entire time because that often makes for funnier content. But this reaction was very open minded, with the intent of giving it a real chance. And that's rate, especially for make youtubers (as Twilight target demo is teenage girls).

lmfaoo I love how seriously hes taking them + paying attention to the stuff going on outside of bella/edward. Honestly a breath of fresh air, though. Everyone just instantly starts roasting tf out of every detail in these but you can tell his criticism is genuine and not just bc "its Twilight". Its nice to see someone give these a chance. I cant hate on anyone hating the movies as long as they tried, you know?

I watched the movies first and there were so many things I didn’t get until I read the books.
6:44 - that truck is perfect for her. Movie didn't really cover it, but Bella was extraordinary clumsy. So a car build like a tank was the safest bet for her.
Awe this is gonna be fun. I wonder if it'll hit the same as the nostalgia hits us? I'm glad you're open minded and have really wanted to watch this. The Hunger Games will blow you away if you want to do them too

GoT and now Twilight, I'm a happy camper. Harry Potter series has to be next if you've never seen them. That will be the cherry on top. I got both my youngest kids reading more when these movies came out. I even bought them all on DVD. I will admit because of my love of the Potter series I kept the movies when my kids grew up. I did however gives my daughter all the collection of the Twilight movies because I did buy those for her. I rebought them later in a set for myself.

In midnight sun it’s from Edwards point of view and the comment you made about Jessica it’s so accurate Edward couldn’t stand her and if you read it you get more of why he said “you don’t know how long I’ve waited for you “
You should watch True blood! It’s a vampire show on HBO & it’s sooo good! Like GOT tho the ending is trash to me but you should watch it!
Edit: it’s also a more PG show called The vampire diaries that’s pretty popular & good & it’s spin off “The originals” is way better IMO!

I actually love when you pause and work through your thoughts. You can always pause at the “wrong” spots but i prefer the pausing and you working out what’s happened with what you already knew. You are also very funny yourself so it’s a double bonus! Can’t wait for the rest. These are a guilty pleasure and they are hilariously cringey and i love reactions to them.
Yes I agree. It’s really easy In these movies/shows to miss something vital by talking thru it. I’ve been guilty of it myself. Don’t be afraid to rewind it if you didn’t hear or understand something. It’s important actually. My sons hate when i rewind it when they’re talking and I can’t hear it. They’ve learned their lesson though bc I’ve pointed out SO many times what we wouldn’t have known or heard of we hadn’t went back. Stranger things will be like that so be sure to listen carefully and pause if you have to much to think thru or comment on. Great reaction! As usual!
If you wanna watch a great Netflix show, try Ragnarok the SERIES! Not the marvel movie. It’s a Norwegian show that has an option to listen in English. I swear it’s not annoying like some redubbed shows. The original actors are doing the English and the Norwegian so it works great! I promise you won’t regret it.

Just found this video, and honestly, I’ll admit, I’m still a big fan of these movies and I LOVE your review. I love how open you were to watching this series, and how you even mentioned reading the books after!! Honestly there’s SOOO much more information and detail in the books for this series. It really helps many more things make sense.
I was sooo obsessed with Twilight back in the day. I have all the books and went to see all the movies in theaters. I got on my girlfriend's last nerve back then. Lol. I was #TeamEdward
14:15 - in that universe, vampires don't really age emotionally, unless something happens in their lives that pushed them. At this time Edward still feels like a teenager, no matter the age.

As someone who has sensory issues and moved specifically to Oregon, to have clouds and rain, and very little sunshine, it is a great place for some of the special people like me. We love it.😂

Yes major common characteristics of vampires is super strong, super fast & super senses & some kind of hypnosis on human & cold & pale cause their technically dead. & the sun usually burns them to death but not in this

Twilight is one of those movie series that eventually just became overhated cause it was the "cool" thing to do is hate on Twilight. I still think that they are good, well worth the watch if you get into them.

The books by Stephanie Meyers were very good. In the scene where Bella and her dad are eating at that diner, the author is on her laptop at the counter. And Edward Cullen / Robert Pattinson, is actually THE BATMAN.

To make the infatuation make a little more sense. It helps to listen to what Edward Said he said that everything about him draws her in his smell his face and even the sound of his voice so he is basically a drug to her like heroin just like he said she is a drug to him like heroin so while they eventually do develop love at 1st it is literally an addiction and they cannot stand to be away from each other. That is why it comes on so fast and strong.
Edwards attraction to Bella started because she was the first person in 92 years with an unreadable mind. It’s hard to find love when there’s no mystery, you always know what someone thinks and everything is predictable. She was the first puzzle he’d ever come across, and became obsessed with solving it- only falling in love with her in the process.
I wish it was that easy to scare off people by just growling at them 😂😭

I was geeked for Twilight when I was in high school, and then geeked when GOT came out. The fantasy genre is just a banger all around 👌
So glad to hear you mention reading the books. If you read them before you watch the movie you'll understand the characters more but you might be upset at all the things being left out of the movie. Before or after, just read them. Love that you are doing the series and love that you are open minded about it. So many people just want to trash them. I love them and I loved your reaction. Also - books (unabridged) are available as audiobooks from your library...I used to listen to them when doing paperwork at work.

Believe it or not, vampires not burning in the sun is actually not a thing that is new. Vamps burning in sunlight is an invention of Hollywood from this last century. Originally, they just proffered being nocturnal since it was easier to hunt. Even Dracula, despite most modern versions, wasn't killed by sunlight in the original book and films, he just lost the ability to use any of his powers during the day.
That said, the disco ball skin is a weird decision.
Yeah, it's funny how people forget (or simply didn't know) that Bram Stokers version of Dracula did not burn in the sun. I seriously wonder where that even came from.
As far as the disco ball effect... it is 100% weird. That said, I sort of understand it. If their bodies are like marble, SOME stones do in fact sparkle in the sunlight. So it's sort of a real thing. Yeah, that's a stretch but I guess Meyers was trying real hard to at least justify them not being out in the sun. No Daylight rings in the Twilight universe.

Never judge a book by its movie. Books are ALWAYS better than the films that came after them. Game Of Thrones is a prime example. The source material for the TV show ended after season 5 because GRRM is still working on the series. Everything after that was made up on the fly by Benioff and Weiss AFTER they let the author go as a consultant. These movies are much different from the books as well. (Personally, I like them as told from Edward's Point of view like in Midnight Sun. Much darker perspective and I think ALL of them should have been written that way) Glad to see you are checking out new stuff, but I'm waiting on The Mandalorian! 😎

@@daniellerhymes2842 that's exactly what I did. I ended up being late to the party though. I didnt get into them until Eclipse came out and even then only because I ended up becoming friends with one of the actors through his band (I was a concert photographer at the time) and he gave me so much crap over not having seen his movies that I had to watch them so he would shut up about it. Haha. I ended up opting to read each book first , and THEN watching the movie made from it. The movies weren't bad, but the books were just so much more in depth.

About small towns….. I grew up in a tiny town of about 3,000 people. One day, my idiot brother drove over our dentists’ rose bush, and drove away. Unfortunately, it wasn’t fast enough to keep him from recognizing my brother. By the time he got home, our parents had already gotten a couple calls and knew the entire story. GoT and Mando is the primary current "Tv show" on channel; he most likely has episode already recorded, just gotta edit for youtube. Movies are then sprinkled in, in between shows. Ok the voice change at "it's the skin of a killer, Bella." Just about killed me.
They explain better in the books that for the vampires, there is someone out there whose blood is basically addictive or ridiculously tempting. For Edward, it's Bella. Like the perfect blood for him. So when he smelled her in class, he hadn't fed for a while, then smelled her blood... He was afraid he'd hurt her.

Twilight is ok it isn't my favorite Vampire movie or series but I wouldn't go as far as I hate it or anything In this part for me the movie jumped a lot it was like listing bullet points and also the vampire lore is a bit off to me Example Vampires don't sparkle in sunlight they usually burn and humans turn to vampire usually not just bitten they need to drink blood from a vampire

Hey 😃 im soooo happy u decided 2 watch this 💜 i knew ud like it but it does have cringey moments but it 2 me really comes across as the awkward high school crushes and the times that ive ever had a crush n so nervous 2 talk 2 him and things like that lol 🙂. But imma tell ya my daughters 18 now but when she was like 14 or so when she talked about it alllllll the time i tbh was like omg im so over Twilight and neverrrrrrr everrrrrr thought about watching it! BUT NOW ive seen em and im sooooo addicted 2 it! Outta all of em r really good (2 me ive never been n2 any like fantasy/cryptid type movies/shows but now lol) now Twilight:Breaking Dawn Part 1 n 2 r my favs 😃 and my 3 yr old pittys fav series 2 but she has 2 watch any of em n she falls asleep watching em lol 😂. But what i was concerned about the most was is there any sex scenes and/or adult scenes like 4 my daughter 2 even watch and b4 she went 2 c the 1st 1 i asked a couple of my then friends (now im the same as u 🙂 im good on going out n groups with fake ass people 🙄 im over that whole shits) that had already seen it and they said that theyd be ok 4 her 2 c and its a teen movie.
But 1st thank you soooo much 4 going n2 it with an open-mind! I absolutely respect and appreciate u 4 that!
