Really loving your reactions to the Twilight series so far. Alot of male reactors that watch these movies really put it down and make fun of it so it's refreshing to see you really trying to understand the characters. Can't wait for Eclipse!!!

The Saga has some of the best soundtracks to me, hands down.
Yes the first one was considered "Indy" vibes. It basically was kind of an independent film and low budget. New Moon is known for the most success of the Saga from the box office

Yes, Bella was using Jacob, which is why the whole teams situation was always BS b/c she was never gonna choose him. Anyone w/eyes could see that.

Yeah, I was always amazed that Team Jacob became such a big thing. It was kinda obvious (especially in the movies) that Bella was never going to choose Jacob. Joining team Jacob was like booking a cruise on the Titanic... you're getting on a sinking ship. That's just not going to end well.
I think a lot of guys don't like this movie because of how Bella treated Jacob. She led him on and used him, and she was unnecessarily cruel about it.
@@scoobysnacks She used him, but I don't think it's fair to say she was unecessarily cruel about it. She made it clear to him that while she needed him, she was keeping him in the friend zone. So if he's continuing to romantically pursue her when she's flat out telling him she just using him to get over Edward, that's kind of on him. He knows what he's getting into and he's taking his shot anyways.
The team Edward/Jacob stuff was not about who they thought she was gonna end up with, but who they thought would be better for her or whom they wanted her to be with. Everybody knew from the very beginning that it was gonna be Edward, lol.
Major you gotta do the hunger games series! Phenomenal set of movies with deeper themes that are often overlooked because it's technically classified as a YA film. They're based on even better books!
I read the books 2 times and enjoyed the second time more cause you really get the parallels with present time and its scary
Aro is played by Michael Sheen, one of the best parts of this entire Saga

Dakota Fanning's Sister plays Catherine the Great and is absolutely amazing in The Great! Highly recommended that one too!
"The Great" is absolutely "great"! 🤣 As soon as I saw a trailer for it I knew I had to see it! And I was not disappointed.

It was explained in the book that the Saint Marcus Day parade, an annual event, is actually Marcus of the voltori. Marcus of the voltori pretended to be human and created the false Legend of expelling all vampires from the city.

Shes not messing with his mind. She literally spelled it out for him. Told him she was using to feel better. Told him that the hand holding meant something different to him than her, meaning he liked her romantically, and she did not return the feelings. Was about as straightforward as possible without being mean about it and yall want to sit there and say "shes leaving room for doubt, shes leading him on" like no. And then y'all wonder why women started being rude when rejecting men. Because if we're nice about it, y'all like to take it another way like we didnt just say we weren't interested

yeah the first one was a low budget indy type bc the books hadnt gained the traction they were about to gain and then after the first movie the books and the movie blew up so they were given a larger budget for the rest of the movies and bc they are based off the books HEAVILY sometimes the endings are weird bc its where the book cuts off... i really appreciate u giving the story a chance ive watched other reactions where they just talk about bad acting and talk shit about the whole storyline which for those that havent read the books is understandable but for us die hard twi-hards (lol🙄) we were just happy to see it on screen so thank u for keeping an open mind even if some of it seems "cheesy" #TEAMEDWARD 🤣
The quote at the beginning was from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (appropriate for a story about star-crossed lovers.) New Moon was my favorite of the books... Of course I'm team Jacob.

I hope you choose to watch The Hunger Games and/or The Maze Runner trilogies after Twilight, if you like this you'll love those.
Twilight's main controversy, outside of the books not having the best writing, was what Stephanie Meyers did to these beloved mystical creatures. Vampires that don't die but sparkle when exposed to the sun, and werewolves that don't have the transformation solely from the moon. She tried to justify it with the diet of the vegetarian vamps and the wolves being Shape Shifters that can phase when they want/need to.
She can justify it however she likes. Any writer has the creative freedom to write the characters how they please. The story is fictional and so are VAMPIRES AND WOLVES. That is no write or wrong way to right these crestures.

@@MrsNiaboo2000 I actually like that Meyers made up her own rules rather than just using the same vampire tropes everyone else uses. Plus a lot of the vampire rules, like having no reflaction or needing to be invited into houses or being driven away by garlic, never made sense anyways.
People make fun of Twilight vamps because they sparkle, but I honestly think they're arguably the most powerful and potentially the most scary vamps in pop culture. The have almost no weaknesses and are nearly impossible to kill.
I am so happy that you are enjoying these movies and they only get better!

Yes, Team Jacob. Team Edward was a crazy time, but I still enjoy watching this series every once in a while.
But Dakota Fanning, Yes, she was introduced in this movie, and continues her roll in the future installments.
But after this franchise, Her and Kristen do another movie together, The Runaways, almost a autobiography of the all girl band in the 70s, as it is told by only 2 of the 4 members in the band, as all members do not see eye to eye on anything anymore since they broke up years back. Joan Jet, Lita Ford mainly. but still a crazy and interesting movie. must watch

What Bella and Jacob had was a lot of manipulation by Jacob he always through he could make Bella want him as her man. That's a big NO No. Jacob is in the friend zone and nothing more Bella never one time spoke to him badly she kissed on the mountain to keep him from hurting himself. Jacob is a child and nothing more. That was totally wrong. It's like you all never had a friend that you loved as a friend and nothing more. Oh, by the way Edward is the one that is rich. The twilight saga movies are kinda great - not gonna lie. But I was NEVER a fan of the whole love triangle thing between Bella, Edward and Jacob. I especially didn't appreciate the selfishness of Jacob, the emo Edward or the indecisive Bella. HOWEVER, I friggin love vampires and werewolves. And I loved every other single character in the movie. I even read the books, which I never do, because I hate reading. Having said that, my favourite movie is the last one. I've seen all the movies on several occasions and the more I watch it, the more I dislike the behaviour of those three. STILL - love the movie franchise xD I was always 'team Edward' though, if I had to choose. But that's based on personal interests. I'd rather be a vampire, than a werewolf, IF I could pick.
In all fairnes to Bella, I don't think she was necessarily indecisive. I think she knew what she wanted. At the end she made it pretty clear her choice was Edward, not Jacob.
I think she strung Jacob along way too long because she didn't want to lose him as a friend. But unlike some love triangles, I don't think she really had to struggle to figure out which guy she wanted. It was kinda obvious that Jacob really didn't have a chance.
Not that I'm defending Bellas behavior overall. She was pretty thoughtless to how badly she hurt Jacob and Edward because she wanted to have her cake and eat it too.
