The venom was spreading. The flashes of Bella screaming was her feeling the effects of the venom basically burning her from the inside out, but the morphine had her frozen in plane in agony. It lasted for some days I believe.
It explains that so much better in the books

Rosalie always wanted a baby. I don’t know if you saw it, but in one extended scene during Eclipse, Rosalie was telling Bella how she died, but in her story she also told Bella how much she wanted to be a mother. That’s why Bella called Rosalie for help as soon as they landed. She knew Rose would be on her side and take care of the baby with her or for her if she died.
All I hear is my boy yelling Rebecca 😂
If they turned Bella now then the baby would die because Bella's body would stop functioning and she would basically turn to stone. They explained all of this so much better in the books 😂 that is why female vamps can't get pregnant.
PAUSE 25:29 on some real shit can i just talk about how this man doesnt complain or get super negative about shit very often and its nice to see especially when these reactors are watching ur beloved movies that u grew up with like damn everytime somebody sees the scene of jacob leaving the pack they have some shit to say.. and in the books the wolves talk to eachother thru their minds how u supposed to do that in a movie in that scene without a voice over they worked with what they had and its not horrible and for him to just absorb this story for what it is and just be all in is beautiful my guy i appreciate it and u fr
The imprinting thing is a little weird because right now she’s a baby so it seems super creepy but basically it just means Jacob will be in Renesme’s life for whatever she needs a brother a protector maybe when she grows up it could be more but for now he’s just in her life to be there for her.

And on the rare occasion someone doesn’t want to be manipulated into having someone as a partner the shapeshifter will change who their are to try and fit who they think the imprentee wants/needs them to be. That’s a weird, stalker-ish, disrespectful & pathetic circumstance 🤦🏾♀️
@@Helion_Prime that’s not true at all that the perp doesn’t have/share emotional connection with their victim (not all groomed victims are children too, adults can also be groomed). Most children are groomed by someone they know, someone they already have an emotional connection with & who has one with them especially if it’s a fam member.
Stephanie Meyer attempted to soften this subtle way of manipulating a human’s mind by making it seem as if the perp has no choice/no agency which isn’t good, romantic or sweet. It’s terrible & ok for people to feel uncomfortable. It should.
Imprinting does not have to be a romantic or sexual relationship. It's like an unpaid bodyguard that no one asked for. 🤷🏾♀️
Anyone that's saying "it's gross... It's grooming" has their mind in the gutter. It's only weird if you make it weird.
FYI: The song played during their wedding was played at just about every wedding for the following 2+ yrs after this movie and Bella’s wedding dress… OUTSTANDINGLY BEAUTIFUL! Kristen Stewart was gorgeous in this movie. Who wouldn’t want to have a honeymoon like that too! Omg!
I wouldn't want a honeymoon during which I'd become pregnant with a half vampire baby who would try to kill me.

As for the imprinting, they alluded to age not being a factor with the beach scene and one of the members was on the shoreline with a toddler. He, too, had a young imprinting.
Yeah and it talks about that in the book too. I forget which wolf in their pack imprinted on the toddler.

These are the only books other than Harry Potter that I've read since I've been out of high school which is a long time and a little embarrassing but I love this whole series. The books are great too. (I do listen to audiobooks)

Hopefully this helps with a few things. Imprinting is when a wolfs soul connects with another person. They would be anything they need. They have an infinite connection. They don’t have to be a lover. They can be a guardian or a brother or a best friend. But with the pregnancy, she got pregnant because in history there has never been a vampire that fell in love with a human. Or as far as they know. Never a vampire that had sex with one either- as far as they know. They never had any knowledge about it. They assumed, like most vampires, that Edward could not conceive because theoretically he is dead. And she feels the baby at 14 days because it’s growing rapidly.
This version of the movie left some scenes out, like before Edward left the house to join the fight, he had ran into Jacob downstairs after he imprinted, and Edward broke his arm throwing him into the wall. Jacob was late to the party because he was healing.
When Edward gave Bella her baby she bit her before she faded away. I think that’s what turned her along with Edward’s venom✨ not ashamed to say i watch these movies at least once a year✌🏾✨ here for it all
The female hybrids aren't venomous.

10:51 Stephanie Meyers cameo in this scene will always make me tear up. I’m an amateur author and I sincerely hope that one day I get to pop up in a movie based off of my works, too.
The way my ex explained the in print thing to me was. Typically in printing is a marriage true love type thing but not always. It doesn't have to be romantic or sexual. It can be a platonic or paternal thing in some situations.
The book did a much better job at explaining her transition. Her spine broke, which paralyzed her, but her mind was still very much awake and was in just as much agony as anyone else who transitions, she just couldn't move or make a sound. She silently suffered through it all. They tried to show that by flashing back and forth between her losing her shit vs sitting there seemingly lifeless, but it lacks in comparison to the books.
To be fair to Jacob he literally has no choice. He can't force himself to imprint and he can't force himself out of it. Take Sam for example he was getting ready to propose, he was 100% in love and then he imprinted on another girl and everything that came before that moment faded away.
In all honesty the person a wolf imprints on has all the power in the relationship. In the books Bella notes that Jacob is upset about Renesmes situation but because Nessie needs Jacob to be strong he smiles and reassures her even though he doesn't want to. The wolf becomes whatever his imprinted needs. They need a brother or confidant the wolf will be that. They need an emotional punching bag, the wolf will be that. They need a quasi immortal lover then that's what the wolf will be. It's explained better in the books (3rd book) there is another wolf who imprinted on a 3 year old and is pretty much a slave to her every whim. The wolf will always go at her pace and never push for anything the imprintee doesn't want. The problem is that it is almost impossible to not fall for someone that is completely devoted to you, who is always there for you, who is always on your side and who you can tell anything to and will never betray you. They literally can't.
It's still messed up but Jacob is completely innocent in this. He's as much of a victim of it as Nessie is, possibly even more so since his agency and feelings and wants will always take a backseat to what she needs or wants and there is literally nothing he can do about it.

The part of Edward asking Jacob to talk some sense into Bella in the books is wicked as heck!

In the books it is very graphic of how Edward had to chew through her stomach to get the baby out. It is said that between the sex scenes and that scene they would have gotten an R rating.
You could of easily rewatched them and made up a reaction, I appreciate your authenticity
Basically, Stephanie Meyers tried to explain away the imprinting by saying that he’ll be ANYTHING to her that she needs, a brother, a protector, a friend, etc. But, in the books, Quill is imprinted on a toddler, and Jacob asks him if he’s really not going to date anyone until the kid is grown up. Jacob asks Edward if he should start calling him dad.
The actual explained reason for imprinting is that it chooses the partner who will best be able to bear werewolf children. To preserve the future of the pack. That’s why Leah can’t imprint on anyone, the wolves are frozen in time for as long as they’re still shifting into wolves, so Leah can’t get pregnant.
So, yeah, imprinting is super gross. As much as she might try to explain it away, it’s gross
In the book Eclipse, it was explained that Quil imprinted on a 2-year-old girl named claire. Jacob explained to Bella that Quil feels no romantic feelings towards Claire at all. He's merely a big brother and best friend to her who will protect her and ensure her safety and want her to be healthy and happy.
For a wolf, the object of their imprinting, they become whatever the person needs. If the object of the imprinting is a grown adult then they will become a lover, in the case of a young child, the wolf will merely be a best friend and brother.
then why does jacob ask edward if he should call him dad
@@ranniwolves because Jacob was smart enough to know that when Renesmee was old enough she would have romantic feelings towards him where then Jacob would become what Renesmee needs at the time.

Also in the books you find out that a wolf once accidentally killed another wolfs imprintee and the imprinted wolf literally lost his mind. The problem with this is that every wolf in the pack could feel that pain, many of them almost lost their minds too and they had to kill the wolf to stop his rampage.

there’s so many of your theories i wanna elaborate/explain on but i’ll just wait until after part 2 😭
but i will say they took more creative liberties with these final movies, including the scene of the fight between the cullens and the wolves towards the end to bump up the action. it wasn’t in the book, however i didn’t hate it (though it hurt to see alice like that 😢).
a lot of people say this movie is an allegory for pro-life vs pro-choice which i can definitely see and it’s interesting considering the times we’re in right now. and imprinting is probably the most controversial thing about this entire series (books and movies). i get what stephenie was trying to go for but…it definitely doesn’t universally translate over outside of the general concept
and yes, definitely check out ashley greene’s podcast! they revisit the movies and other members of the cullen family pop in several of the episodes. plus you get a little insight on what it was like to be a twi-hard back when the movies were dropping and the mania behind it, but also from the actors’ side of it all too
love seeing your excitement for these movies! it’s refreshing to see, especially because a lot of reacters go into it with plans to shit-roast the series. it’s honestly not that bad. not perfect, but not terrible either
When her chest rose up at the very end, that was her spine reshaping from it being broken.
Not sure if someone else has commented this but there is an end scene in this movie and gives some hints at what part 2 will be about 😊
When I first saw this movie, I didn’t know if it was that the venom had to be fresh from the source (like maybe it isn’t as strong in the tube after it sits for a while) or if it was that her heart wasn’t beating so it didn’t spread throughout her body enough. I was yelling at him to BITE HER 😂 And her transition took a while as she was severely injured from the birth plus she was given a bunch of morphine

Idk if someone beat me to it. But Emily is Leah’s cousin and at the time Leah and Sam(the alpha) were dating and he imprinted on Emily and had to break up with Leah, so the beach scene was very sad. It’s worse because in their wolf form they share thoughts so Leah constantly has to see Sam think about Emily. That’s why she said it hurts to have someone you can’t have .

Edward getting bella pregnant broke the peace treatie. You also have to remember not all vampire movies have the same rules. People need to stop looking at the imprinting thing as a gross thing Jacob even says it's not always about being in love it's more of a Uncle or Godfather type thing when he did it

40:45 YES it IS disgusting, no matter what people try to make of it. I enjoy the films but they are extremely problematic to say the least. It's constantly justified when men physically abuse their gfs/wives for one reason or another (Edward hurting Bella when they have sex, Sam ´turning´ in front of his wife and her ending up being scarred forever...), racism (Jasper still being a proud ex confederate soldier), the love triangle being mentally abusive, controlling and manipulative (the whole "I will kill myself if you leave me"), romanticising sexual abuse (Jacob kissing Bella without her desire) ... And, of course and to top it all: pedophilia - people can call it what they want but it doesn't change anything-. I read the books when they came out, I was 14 and let me tell you, I got very distorted ideas of what was a healthy romantic relationship or how men should treat women (and all humans) overall. In my late teens I started to hate the whole saga for this reason. Now I do enjoy the films for what they are within the genre. Cheers.
