...wait.. there was an update on the KOII?! I promise I watched to the end! haha
edit: holy crap that track was SICK! when the beat repeat Rhodes came in 🤯
Lol, yeah!!! It’s a tiny update but someone at TE must have been watching your vids cause the most notable upgrade is the filter behavior on the fader🤩👌🏻
Thanks for watching brother, wish you many jams and fun times in 2024🙌🏻🙌🏻
It's just a great Trip-Hop. As a special connoisseur, I tell you, work in this direction, you have a serious talent here.
track was fire
Thank you my friend🙌🏻❤️
I'm a bit surprised you didn't sequence the KOII to trigger the recording of the layers in the Aeros - I have the same gear and might have to give it a shot myself! Great jam
bro sick jam at the end
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it bro!🙌🏻
Incredible jam! Love how it lifted off!
Glad you like it! Happy new year!
What a killer jam!
Beautiful jam 👏👏🎶
sweet, that jam was great.
Thank you!!
Nice groove! Happy New Year!
Thanks! You too!🤟🏻🤟🏻
Someday I still want to set up a practice / jam / meditation station with a RC-505 mk2 looper, a Wavedrum, and a nice performance-oriented synth (Osmose maybe). Perhaps also a microlooper like a Korg KP3. A quick no-pressure setup to just mess around and have fun and improve my skills.
Oh man, very nice jam, I really like it. I didn‘t know, that you‘re such a talented bass player. I‘m very impressed. I wish all the best for 2024 for you and your family.
Whoa! That track is amazing😮 happy new year, mate!
Bro thanks so much! Happy new year as well!!
as someone who played a guitar as my first intro into making music before getting into eletronic music, i look at everything through the eyes of a guitar player, every new sampler that comes out i see how i can use it with a guitar in hand (so needing foot controllability is a big one)
this is a fantastic "little" set up, cant wait to see how the bass playing plays out in 2024. great video
Thank you my friend! Wish you an amazing 2024 as well!
Massive Attack like theme - great ! love it.
P.S. - I just listen this track on repeat without end
Keep it up dude! Amazing work in 23. Looking forward to 24. I got my KO II yesterday and am going to dive in.
Thanks so much my friend!! Looking forward to starting fresh! See you soon!
King is ripping the bass, love to see it
Thanks King🫶🏼🫶🏼 Wish you a Happy New Year!🤩
I plan to get a Squier Mustang short scale bass. I play guitar pretty decent and I’ve read that short scale are easier to switch to
I guess I like your channel because we think alike - I also bought my first bass this past year 😂
Brilliant minds think alike😜 happy new year my friend!
@@MidlifeSynthesist I bought a Fender JB earlier this year but then I discovered how good (for the price) the Harley Benton basses are. It has allowed me to explore other styles of basses, so I have the HB PB-50 (their 50s PB) and the HB MB-4 (a pretty decent MM Stingray clone), all for less than the cost of the Fender. Also check out their 25th Anniversary range, roasted maple necks, stainless steel frets, gorgeous satin gold finishes and they sound pretty good.
Thanks for another/all inspiring vids, mate! Happy New Year for you and yours!
I remembered I have a bass hanging on a wall for too many years now. It said to me all envy, see what good people can do!?
Lol! Thanks for watching my friend!! Look forward to continuing the journey this year!!🤟🏻🤟🏻
Ooooh, this was actually pretty good! My type of jam!
Thanks so much! See you soon my friend!
I bought a used looper because I really want to explore more solo music making like this too.
Great work here!
Thanks so much for watching!
Happy jamming my friend!
Which one did you get ?
@@symbiat0 an used RC-20XL. Still haven't practiced a lot with it. Busy holidays this year.
This is how I do it essentially, but with tons of cream and just the 2 channels on a Pigtronix Infintu. I know you just got the KO put the Deluge in its place and life gets really interesting real quickly. Great video and beautiful music ❤️
Plus 1 to more bass in future videos
Yesss🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yeah... I noticed that desk slider shot toward the bass, and the curved "dolly" shot with both hands on the KO II......I see you... **Edit: ok it was one-handed KO, right into a 2 handed KO shot, still very cool camera work in this one**
Lol😜 thanks for watching my friend! I live looped it (the wife angle side shot is one take) but then added some b roll to make it more visually interesting 👍🏼 glad you liked it! See you next time🙌🏻
To a new year and many more audio adventures
Stellar! ❤ Happy New Year Brother!
Thanks Brother! Wish you an amazing 2024 and hopefully we’ll be able to get a beer in Knobcon🫶🏼🙌🏻
@@MidlifeSynthesist yes!
Man, this sounds awesome. Love the jam; the bass parts are super cool. What did you upgrade on the bass?
I have the rc 505 mk2. It’s great fun to jam with. Being able to dump the loops into a daw is wonderful too.
Awesome! That one is on my wish list for sure🤩! Rock on!!
@@MidlifeSynthesist yeah… I use either my zoom l12 or rc to record audio of instruments and then put it into the daw to chop and finish the track. Sometimes will just make loops in the daw and will use those in my Sp or Mpc… fun alternative.
Happy New Year dear synth colleague
To you too my friend❤️!
4:57 sounds great! Is it a factory sample on the KO II (if so which number)? And are you just holding the pads down to make that sound/effect? Thanks!
Is that a guitar in your…
Thanks for the inspiration as I got a foot pedal and iOS looper I need to mess around with. It’s gonna be ugly 😂😂
Happy New Year and happy to be part of an amazing discord group!
Hahaja thanks for being here brother!! Wish you an amazing 2024! Much love❤️❤️
can someone help me?
how he got the sampler work in sync with aeros
love the watch!! mind shring what it is?
Lol thanks! It’s a swatch! (I have an affiliate amazon link in the description 👍🏼) cheers!
You want to improve your bass playing skills THIS year? Man, you better hurry up 😂 Best wishes for 2024 though!
🤣🤣 gonna be running scales till midnight😅
❤
❤️🤩❤️
You’re a “beginner bass player”? You know you’re just kidding, right? 😁
🤣 I swear that’s pretty much the full extent of what I can do for now jajaja but thank you very much! I hope to get actually good/intermediate level during next year🤟🏻 Happy holidays my friend! See you soon
@@MidlifeSynthesistI think you’re already on intermediate level 😉
Happy Holidays! 🎉
You can't copyright basslines
You can, its just that for most basslines it’s going to be incredibly difficult to defend the copyright in practice as they tend to be very simple parts that are not sufficiently distinct from others.
It doesn’t matter. RUclips algorithms will demonetize the video if it detects a copy of an existing piece of music.
