Just add some decorations from nuka world dlc, and you will get pretty cool looking wild west settlement. You can even take few ideas from Goodsprings, or even recreate the entire settlement in Fallout 4.
there's actually another youtuber, who is admitedly way better at these style of videos who pretty much uses that getup. skooled zone if you're interested.
While scaffolding ramps and stairs don't snap to wood, metal, concrete, barn or warehouse floors, they do snap to the scaffolding flooring. To make sure things align along the invisible grid I snap scaffolding flooring to the building I am making, then snap the ramps, and then remove the scaffolding floor and replace it with another floor type e.g. wood or barn. I use this a lot in my builds and it often means you don't have alignment issues later on.
Its a pretty good build. I usually get my inspiration from Fallout New Vegas' Goodsprings setup, specifically Chet's Store. Basically do the same thing, but I use the Warehouse Roofs, and use the flat roof tops to set as the porch/varander; just use a wall segment at the front to snap it into place, then remove the wall once you're done. In general, Goodsprings is actually a good model for recreating in a mostly open area like Specticle Island or County Crossing.
Great video. I would replace the front corner roofs with the angled roof used on the middle piece and a flat roof in the front middle. It would make it look more structurally supported. For the upper false wall I would create several variations to make a town look more interesting. A second variation is remove the 2 angled pieces in the false wall to give a stair step appearance. I've seen that in old movies too. A third use 3 short walls for all 3 of the false walls for a low false wall. A forth and fifth variation is use 3 of the tall walls for the false front wall, adding the short wall in the back and sides of the building. You then can add floors to create a storage loft (4th) or extra tall roof to hang lights up high (5th). Adding a second building story could give you 8 basic buildings to mix up and make a old West Town. Remove the porch and add half walls to the back and sides you have the start of a church or school house with a center steeple. Add 4 half walls in the center front middle, 4 corner posts, and the square peak cap to complete the steeple. You could even put a settler bell in it.
Thanks for the build ideas, I recently got a mod that adds livestock mechanics into the game and a few of these buildings will be right at home when I do a ranch build!
Love a simple build & do something similar at Nordhagen Beach. I build a rec center & store, snap on a 3x5 grid of warehouse or barn foundations with the center squares left empty. Then grab the whole thing & adjust the height so the empty space is filled with water to create a pool.
Grey, its not done yet. You needs lettering on the upper section of that store front. 🤠 And it needs a clothing and general goods counter. lol... And don't forget to put the wall mounts up to put those lever action rifles on display. 😎
I would not run the 45 corners in the front. Those side piece will work great against the frontispiece. Grab the screen floors and put then across the front on top as storage for your goods. Maybe even a barn or warehouse ladder up to it inside.
That looks like our local Farmers Co-op, it was a surprisingly easy design and I'm looking forward to putting a few variations into my settlements, you could add a couple of hitching posts and some bales of hay for added realism.
Tombstone invades Fallout 4. I actually made an Old Western character. Weapons were Machete, Shotgun and Pistol(s). Had Cate as a companion. Maybe try and make Spectacle Island like the streets of Tombstone.
I don't understand why you would use the angled rooftop piece for the storefront. On the backside of the house it makes sense to me but not towards the front.
If you want to use a different floor texture on those concrete foundations, I have a video that shows how to do it. My editing is shit, but I think you'd still get the idea if you'd like to use the method in your build videos!
Idea. Making a settlement like in red dead 2. Term of the 20th century setting. Becuse honestly most of fallout is there but with some remaining tec od the past. Good example valentine to build.
technically, I think they were after a different channel since they grabbed the wrong logo, but I apparently bumped them from the top of the search results so I got their spambots.

Character just needs a mechanic jumpsuit and a hard hat with clipboard.

Looks great! Love the idea of a wild west town settlement. Might try this at the drive-in.

Dude you deserve more credit for your awesome videos. (I also have a lot of inspiration from watching your previous build videos).
Thanks for yet another beautiful build man, love from Sweden!

Takes me back to Goodsprings
The warehouse half walls have no rust and no broken windows if you don’t want to use the complete wall

Only thing I would change is the roof. It should only slant to the back and sides, run the 45 degree side roof all the way forward.
Well done
Interesting, gotta add this to the Western abernathy Farm of my gunslinger character
That is an awesome Idea.
If you yews have wood barn wall then have glass from sheds it looks better
I like this series please keep making tutorials
Only thing missing is the ole swinging saloon doors haha.
Id add a sign on wall above door and a gate on porch

Where is this settlement? Any nearby places that I can know? I have many settlements. Previous one was graygarden.
spectacle island
Just me but I would have made a lower floor as a living area for the store employees instead of the cement foundation pieces but that's just me.

Have you watched the Wild West styled shop build that Wasteland Dovahkiin did around 6 years ago? ruclips.net/video/1LpBp6TjgE4/видео.html
doesn't ring any bells...
Heymake some building from fallout new vegas?:)
