  • Bat/dragon wings that follow your body movement, for cosplay and costumes. Patterns included. I hope it will inspire you to make your own!
    I've made proper articulated wings (i.e. that expand) before, but these are a little different. They are way simpler, but move along with your body. The slightly flexible armature contributes to the natural looking movement. The patterns are available on my website (see the links below). It is probably the closest I have ever been to making a cosplay tutorial.

    I'm heating up the PCV pipe... Though it's quite difficult to get it on to the aluminum pipe how hot are you heating it up..it becomes floppy and it gets hard to slide on to the pipe with the tape. Any alternatives ?

    • @arborealkey
      @arborealkey  2 года назад +1

      Hello! PVC pipes do not have a very wide "softening" window and burn easily (kind reminder that it also releases toxic fumes). Using another aluminium pipe works too but it might dig into the smaller one. This is not really a tutorial, it's more like ideas for you to create your own stuff, so you can think out of the box if needed.

      It has a metal skeleton, so the foam does not actually hold anything
