    what size foam (in millimeters) did you use for the base of the wings? was it 5mm like the fingers?

    does anyone know what type of metal tube she used to make the wings detachable from the headband ? stuck on this.

      I'm not sure about the translation, the Internet says it's called a "spacer". You can search for images of an "entretoise" to get an idea of what it is.

      She's using aluminum tubing that's telescoping. That means the inside diameter of the larger tubing matches the outside diameter of the smaller tubing. Places like McMaster Carr carry it.
      One could also use square or another non-round telescoping tubing and avoid having to add the magnet.

      I get this kind of material from local hardware stores, so the name wouldn't be helpful, sorry. It comes in a variety of thicknesses. You could even use it to make homemade chainmail!

    What is that sanding machine that you are using? Where do you get the Eva foam and foam clay usually? Also, i want those solid magnets * _ *

      I believe it's called a rotary tool in English. I get my materials from cosplayshop.be since they aren't too far away (they are in Belgium, I'm in France). The magnets are from Amazon.
