Yes i believe so too. It's my high level stress that got me this shingle which in itself is just so painful to go through it.😢😢.. I guess I'll try to do my best to alleviate my stress and do some meditation and hopefully it will go away a bit.. how are you now?
Maybe I do it wrong..how exactly does she press/massage the opposite side of the face? Is there a specific technique. It does not seem to work the way I do it on the opposite side
This is amazing! I am awake and in agony,…felt like I almost wanted to go to the ER due to being unable to cope with the pain tonight. I was working on the pain side and I literally just did what you said and the pain is barely noticeable within 5 minutes to where I can sleep. I’m in shock. Thank you. I am seriously in shock❤
I suffered this condition since the age 14years old. It comes and goes, mostly when I don't get proper sleep or I'm stressed it will flare up. And this remedy really helped me thanks Doc
@@VA5eeM me too... I only slept 3 hours on Sunday... And on Monday till now, I have a severe pain in the neck and the left side of my head.... With palpitations
My sister has Trigeminal Neiralgia, herniated disk 5 and 6, Migraines and degenerative arthritis. She was on prednisone for a while but they took her off of that. She has pain medication now and also lots of ibuprofen. This disease is debilitating and so painful. She could be laid up for a month. She is now 75 and and she is not bouncing back as fast as she used to. I will share this video and hopefully it will give her some relief. This all began from a trauma restraining a child from getting hurt 20 years ago. Thank you Dr. Berg.
I have TN. Started in 2012. Had Cranial Vesicular Decompression surgery in 2017. That gave me total relief for 1 year and 10 months. The pain returned and lasted for 5 months as a result of a sneeze. Currently pain free. Truthfully , I live in fear of it returning. It seems to be brought on by stress. I certainly have stress in my life, who doesn't? Especially when I'm working. Does anyone else feel stress brings the pain on? It is frustrating for me to hear people say, "I know what you're going through and I know it hurts." Unless you have TN, you can't know the hell a person with TN lives in. It pushes me to the edge of my sanity. There is no escaping the pain and medications do not control it. The pain returns out of the blue with no warning. Having TN causes me to live in a state of "walking on eggshells" for fear of any moment it will return. Pain-free times are such a blessing and can give a false feeling of "cured". May God help us all that suffer with TN.
God definitely won't help us for sure, having 3 days now TN, and knowing Dr. Berg's channe I was hoping to more solutions how to get rid of it for sure. Am I asking for too much? by the way, how do you sleep cause currently for 3 days now after my trauma with a home break in I really can't sleep. I slept only maybe 5 hours in three days time
Yes, I had it in 00'-01', absolutely nightmarish ordeal during a time of stress. It went away until week before last and I have work related stress that seems to of kicked it back into full swing. Rt side jaw, behind my eye and one side of bridge of nose. 4 attacks today
@user-cb8uq6df9b how does this have anything to do with trigeminal neuralgia? You either have it or you don't, sneezing doesn't lead to a diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia, but can trigger an episode if you have the diagnosis.
Dr. Berg, my mom has been struggling with this for almost 10 years. She has tried so many things, the closest that has come to helping her with a little bit of relief was essential oils, but it wasn’t enough. I found this video and had her try this thinking it wouldn’t work, but it did. She is so relieved and wants thank you for sharing this. Please continue your work in helping people, you are a blessing!
My dad was diagnosed with this. His doctor just gave him meds. I had him watch this video, and within 40 minutes he was feeling a lot better. Thank you! When he went back to the doctor, he told him about the video and asked him why he didn't suggest this technique. The doctor simply said, "It isn't scientific." Seriously?!?!?
God bless you for sharing this information. It took a lot of my pain away when my pain is not at its worst. Trigeminal Neuralgia is so horrible. I’ve had it for 6 years. Stress/sickness/dental procedures brings mine back out of remission. Lord help everyone who suffers from this awful disease 🙏 Thank you so much for all your videos and content Dr. Berg!
Dr Berg, I have recently found the source of my TGN pain. For the last five years, I have suffered from TGN with pain being constant for 2-3 months and intermittent for another 2 months. Although acupressure helped it did not relieve the pain. I had noticed that it seemed to be triggered in late fall, through winter and diminish in the spring. I have refused the mainstream treatments and kept looking for a solution. At this point, I had zeroed in on sinus cavity around my nose as being part of the problem. I enjoy listening to podcasts and landed on your videos and other MD who's approach is to leverage food as medicine to heal the body. I started the healthy keto diet to improve sleep, memory, energy and reduce hot flashes. I have found so many benefits since I have adopted the health keto diet and intermittent fasting. In the process, I realized that dairy was the root cause of my TGN. So far, I have been pain free. Thank you!
WOW 🎉... that's Amazing... I am not doing keto but eating kale, spinach greens lots of vegetables and fruit I still have a long way to go but it's manageable and nowhere near as bad as so many I've heard suffer. I'll be 64 years old this year I think this has been on and off for 20 or more years but as it got closer together in incident I started getting concerned. Still don't have a absolute diagnosis but I have been trying to take a natural approach to this. All the little tips and tricks together have been keeping it at Bay. Everyone is in my prayers daily❤
I had the Cyberknife treatment and it worked. It resulted in a permanent tingling sensation on the right side of my face which I can live with, but I’ve been completely pain free and medication free for the past 12 yrs. God Bless anyone suffering from TN.
@Ron Krikorian Great! Most of the time I don’t even think about the tingling sensation. So after 12 years I am still pain free. I am glad I had the Cyberknife procedure.
As a person with Multiple Sclerosis, I did not start following you for something like this, but for Keto and low carb ideas and have always been impressed with your array of videos on various things. Well, after getting diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and seemingly no true relief from this horrific pain, I decided to see if you had possibly posted a video on this. I cannot tell you enough how thankful I am for you taking the time to put this video out so you could, AGAIN, offer some assistance to anyone in need. Thank you so much.
I too have MS and Fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia 4 months ago! It started with the feeling of having abscesses in my teeth, but I don’t have teeth . But my gums suffer terrible pain. I then experienced the worst pain when I yawned one evening! It felt like someone slugged me in the ear! I’m going to try this technique!
A clean carnivore diet will help you and most likely you can get rid of MS and FBM. Dr Ken Berry and Dr Anthony Chaffee can help you for free. Check them out.@@treybeedee6177
OH MY GOODNESS IT WORKS. I have been suffering with TN for years I've had injections into my scull, countless tablets, even an operation which has left a 4" scar down the side of my face. I came across your page done exactly what you instructed to do and IT WORKED I can't thank you enough ❤
I have the rarest, move severe and progressive form of trigeminal neuralgia. I'm allergic to tegretol and have been debilitated by TN since 2019. I started keto a month ago and it has helped tremendously.
I have no allergies, but Carbamazepine (Tegretol) had no effect at all in relieving symptoms & attacks. I'm on Gabapentin now which, at the moment, seems to be helping - it took a month to kick in though.
I was in severe pain from last 3 days and finally saw this video and tried what you showed and my pain is gone.i am so so thankful to you....god bless you !
😱 omg I was just recently diagnosed with this as well. Omg! i just did this just now!!! On opposite side and within 5 minutes the pain was gone! Hurt worse at first, but then started to go away completely. Thank you so so much for this Dr. Berg
Wow!! This is incredible! My dad has been dealing with this for three weeks, had a dozen x rays, oxycodone, steroids, clove oil out the wazoo.. Then we watched this last night and Holy Cow, he can open his mouth and talk! My dad is a seriously tough son of a gun and this was about to drive him insane. Gosh, thank you so much, Dr Berg!!
HOW LONG DID YOU SUFFER FROM THE AFFECTS OF THE SHINGLES BECAUSE MY HUSBAND IS STILL SUFFERING FROM THE PAIN OF NEEDLES PRICKING HIS RT SIDE OF HIS EYE & CROWN OF HIS HEAD..I DON'T LIKE WATCHED HIM SUFFER & HIS A RANCHER NOT BEING ABLE TO DO HIS WORK.
Thank you for this. I have been in such incredible pain. I've had 37 surgeries and was on a ventilator for 3 months. Even learning to walk again was easier than dealing with this pain. I am so grateful for you making this video.
This technique is amazing. I have atypical trigeminal neuralgia which presents on both sides of the face, but luckily only one side at a time. If the left side is fired up I use pressure points on the right side and vice versa and it works every time. Sometimes I have to work the spot a little bit harder than usual. For anyone who is trying this technique and it is not working for them, try pushing a little harder on the part of the nerve it feels the most tender (again, on the opposite side of the face from where the TN pain is presenting). Great video Dr. Berg. Thank you!!!
I have TGN 2 times during my second pregnancy and I just wanted to cut my head off. I could be on regular pain meds and the one I did get I threw up with an allergic reaction. That was 27 years ago. I’m glad I never had it again but I feel for all who do. I’m crying with joy for those that have found relief with this technique. I DO KNOW the pain you are going through. Thank you Dr Berg for your teaching videos
Dr Berg, this is so amazing. I woke up this morning in excruciating pain in my jaw. I think I slept on my face and my jaw was pushed over. I. Did what you said and instantly my pain was gone!!! I had been rubbing the painful side all morning. Thank you for your amazing work!!
Kudos for the Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Taparton Incredible Cure Takeover (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for Curing Shingles minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker after many years got amazing results with it.
I'm going to try this! I'm desperate, so I figure it can't make anything worse. Healing the adrenal glands makes sense. I think anyone with TN also suffers from adrenal fatigue after awhile. I've had this horror-show exploding in my head for more than 16 years now. I had MVD surgery 9 years ago, it helped a lot but the pain has come back to it's previous level of torture. I'm grateful for any new information that can help! Even if this doesn't work, I still thank you Dr. Berg for your understanding and caring. The ignorance about TN that I've encountered from doctors is shocking (yes, pun intended). Had one that told me I was exaggerating because I asked him to turn the fan off in the exam room as the cold air on my face was triggering attacks. He told me that was impossible! Really? Google trigeminal neuralgia, look at the list of triggers. Wind and cold air are on every damn list, jerk!
@@LadyBoBannon I never went back there. It was an opthamologist, who should have known that air blowing in my face was making my eyes dry and blurring my vision, too.
Hi ,mvd is good for some but not for all and gamma knife is safe then it and try ayurveda or homeopathy too ...vascualr compression is the cause of it but I don't know why some got it and some even have vascular compression but don't get trigeminal neurlagia
Omg, Thank you for sharing this .I knew That the A C is one of the culprits that flares up my TN . For a while.I thought it was in my head. Yesterday it was really hot where I live and my daughter turned on the a c in the car and a couple of hours later I had the facial pain which I had not had in weeks.
Thanks Dr Berg, I used a multi prong approach and have stopped TN pain totally within a month but I will continue with everything. I stopped rubbing the painful side like you said here, got B12 shot, used red light therapy twice a day and cut out dairy, gluten and processed sugar. After 15 years journey to overcome a plethora of health issues, when I got TN, I asked myself 'What does my body need?' Next focus... adrenals. There is hope for you all 💜
Hi to you both, no flare ups since early 2021. I've been a nightmare with my food but got back on track a few weeks ago. My TMJ has been bad because of stress and clenching my teeth but even that hasn't brought it on again. Have you both got TN?
@@BackToNature123 hi I have had pain on the left side of my face too feels like an ear ache but doctors could not see anything bulging at the back of the ear drum... I sometimes get relief and there is numbness around my mouth as well... the pain is not too bad at the moment... at first I thought it was not TN because I was like the paim is not that bad but my upper teeth hurt too... can u recommend anything x
@@sereenamazwi5796 I wonder if it's nerve related because it's an area that's hurting rather than one tooth. It wouldn't hurt to try b12 and see if it reduces the pain at all. Trust your gut x
I was diagnosed with trigeminal nerve pain. (I'm okay now.) I thought I was dying. It was excruciating!! One of the worst pain I've ever experienced. I can see how some people end their lives from this. It's horrific! Your technique does relax the tension in my face. I will keep this in mind. Thank you Dr. Berg.
When I some how managed to get to the hospital, I knocked out from the severe pain that attacked me right then. I woke up with IVs and had an MRI done. The doctor prescribed Lyrica (a fairly new type of pills for trigeminal nerve pain) I was told it has serious side effects on the organs so I took it for about 2 months and gradually weened off of it. It did feel like it was coming back a few times after that but I was lucky it didn't. I kept the medication so if I had another emergency, I would have it right away (I still have some just in case) I've experienced so much severe pain from so many things...This was the worst how it just attacks and you can't see ten seconds ahead of you. There was no light but enormous fear from the excruciating pain. I just try to eat healthy and be as healthy as possible. The doctor said people have different severity and cope differently. Some people get better soon while others take a bit more time. If you have this, please get professional help. This is just one of the worst pain. I could have never made it without that medication. Still scares me just thinking about it.
Brenda Epperson ty so much for responding. I have been having reoccurring attacks that are horribly scary and painful... I have an appointment coming up but my primary care thinks it's TN ... I'm going to see a different Dr and have tests. I've got so much other stuff going on and trying to get off medications I'm on now. But these attacks leave me paralysed in fear. Because they hurt so bad. I am happy to hear you're doing better. ty so much.☺☺I pray you continually feel healthy.
Sending Prayers to you Christine J. Praying you get the help you need as soon as possible and heal from this awful situation. Thank You for your prayers too Christine. Lyrica worked instantly on me. I pray you find the right medicine that helps you greatly. I just remembered something...I was once told to hold a strong magnet where the pain is. I think the magnet moves the nerves so there would be less pain. Not sure if this might help.
I was just diagnosed in the ER, after the worst pain I ever had. I had suffered a week and went to the ER. The DR. presecribed Tegretol, which eased the pain, but put me in a coma, and I am not exaggerating. The drug took my life away. I stopped it and the pain was back this morning. I tried this method and the pain stopped! I am considering acupuncture. Thank you Dr. Berg.
My daughter got this days after having her wisdom teeth out 10 years ago age 18. The Oral Surgeon denied he could have done anything to cause this. The head of Pediatrics ENT Texas Children's Hospital in Houston diagnosed Trigeminal Neuralgia. Severe debilitating pain on both sides of her face and its come and gone ever since. She accidentally found out that botox stopped the pain when she got it done. The pain has now returned after many month's so she is getting botox again asap. Hope this helps someone else!
I would suggest not getting the Botox. Her face will begin to droop overtime. I’ve already seen it happen. Consider red light therapy, reducing inflamation or last resort nerve cauterization.
Thanks for this one! I have had RSD for 10 years, somehow survived viral encephalitis and seem to now have trigeminal. Feldenkrais, low carb diet and actively participating in my own wellness have helped immensely. Big thanks for all your videos. 🙂
It worked! I just had it myself and was working the sore side, only making it worse; but when I worked the opposite side, I felt instant relief! God bless you!
I was COVID Positive in the month of April with delta variant. Starting July I started experiencing excruciating and burning dental pain on chewing/biting anything from left incisor tooth. Initially I thought this was some dental issue. After a month I was diagnosed with Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia. I even got MRI done, it came out clean with no nerve vein interaction. I have been on gabapentin and amitriptyline along with vitamin B12 and D3 tablets. Doctors started these meds with min dose but every 2 months the dose needs to gets revised as the meds started becoming ineffective. I am here to ask 2 questions: 1. Is it possible that I got Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia due to corona virus? 2. If so, how to get rid of it?
This is so interesting, I woke up one night with the exact pain you mentioned on the right side, one tooth too! This was about two weeks after my family had COVID but I never had COVID symptoms. Any updates on your question?
Hello All. The pain persisted for 7-8 months on and off. Was on gabapentin and amitriptyline. I have stopped the medicines and even my pain is gone. This was mostly viral induced nerve damage and probably got healed. So if you are young I think there are still hopes.
Thank you. I just searched for this and found it, just now trying it. TN is shockingly horrible. I pray this method works. I can't even touch the lower part of the left side of my face.
This is absolutely amazing! In 12 years of searching for things that help including a failed MVD, no one has ever taught me this. Thank you so much, immediate relief to serious pain this evening.
OMG!!!!!!! It worked Dr. Berg!!!!!! I woke up with EXCRUCIATING PAIN- this morning- neuroglia on the right side of my face! I have had this many times before in my life - know what it is, and have just learned to just deal with it until it subsides. However, I just did the pressure point and massage on the left side of my Temple area and it HELPED almost instantaneously!!! Thank you so much! In love your channel!!! You helped me today and I am grateful!
I was diagnosed with TN on July 2023 and reacted to Tegretol taken with Terberfin in August 2023. The meds given were Gabix 300mg both day and night. This was changed to 100mg in the morning and remained 300mg in the evening. Today Dr Berg, i tried this massage on the right side of my face and felt relief on the left side. TN is unpredictable and some days worse than others. It changes how I speak and sound after an electrical current episode on the left cheek. The medical field does not know much of TN and the ones living with TN have a space to share experiences. Thanks Dr Berg and to everyone living with TN or knows someone living with TN.
RUclips is seriously going to put GPs (glorified Google Practitioners nowadays!) out of work. Had insanely annoying crawling/throbbing/tickling sensations on right side of face for years and MRI suggested possible compression of trigeminal nerve by a blood vessel but told as ever "you’ll just have to live with it" by the NHS consultant. Came across this today and whilst I wouldn’t say it’s cured, pressing he opposite side certainly has more effect than massaging the affected side which only makes it worse. At least I can fiddle I the right place now to hunt for some relief. You Sir are the real deal 👍
We are with you!!! Badger doctors and show videos!!!! Keep pestering!!! Things CAN be done!!! My best wishes to you!!! Fellow sufferer but pain free at mo due to gamma knife!!! There IS hope!!!
I had the MVD surgery and it worked! I woke up and could touch my face again!, that was six years ago and I have been pain free the whole time!. I did get a csf leak and that was a bummer, but nothing like tn!! lol good luck, I hope dr bergs technique works in the short term
Thanks so much for this video Dr. Berg! I've recently been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia after suffering from it for the last eight years. I will definitely try your suggestion and share it.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! OMGEE! I was desperate! I felt the pain coming on and was so puzzled by it. I remembered about 13 years ago that i had to go to the ER in the middle of the night for similar pain. I was given drugs and it went away. I desperately searched for trigeminal neuralgia relief and found you. I am SO incredibly grateful for your technique. Within 10 minutes of massaging the opposite side of the effected area, i am pain free again!!! If i could hug you, i would. Sending you prayers and many thanks!!!
I have had this issue twice now in recent years within days after having my semi-annual dentist appointment. The second time I was in so much pain (and in a certification class that I had to pay attention to) I called the dentist to prescribe pain killers (and I hate taking pills of any kind). This is great info for the next time if it happens again! Thanks as always!!
I diagnosed myself with this 7 days before the doctor said it. They didn't tell me why or how about it. Thanksfor the explanation. I wish you were my doctor, your voice is so calming. Thank you.
Just curious why high cervical nerve pinching isn’t one of the causes. I’ll try this technique, but I clearly can tell my neck is off and is impinging on my nerve.
Thank you so much for this info Doc ! I have been suffering from this pain for the past 5 years 24×7 ! Had to take pain killers every day ! I tried this day before yesterday night and within 24 hours I had so much relief to my surprise! God bless you richly. Please keep doing what you are doing 🙏🙏🙏Thank you so much 🙏
You are amazing, I literally just found out my sister has this , I was talking to her on the phone and she was crying, I had no idea, then , this video popped up . I knew there was a natural remedie , but when she is in pain she can't even listen , it's to sire but now I'm gonna send her this video to try help her , Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience ❤
I can’t believe nobody has ever given me this advice before!!! Sitting here trying to get ready for work, and wondering how I’m going to get through the day with this excruciating pain, tried this method, pain almost completely gone within 30 seconds! Thank you SO SO SO MUCH!!!
Thank you!!!! This has completely removed my intense disabling pain. It is my first time trying it but it will be the first thing I try if the pain returns.
I Watch all your videos with a huge interest. Here regarding the trigeminal pain, it is way more complex. First the trigeminal pain caused by a trauma is not a neuralgia but a neuropathy. I have been injured during a dental implant surgery. Great readings are publications from Prof Tara Renton or Benoliel. Once it’s from an injury, specialists refuse any surgery. The healing of the trigeminal nerve is often going through a process of ephapse( anarchic fibers reconnection) . Nothing… absolutely nothing works, from morphine to anti epileptic… I am an osteopath so I avoid drugs whenever I can… for neuropathy, especially when severe ( anesthesia dolorosa) , nothing manages it. I believe that for neuralgia though, following a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting might be extremely helpful as it will help to avoid blood vessels enlargement and therefore will avoid nerve compression…
I woke up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain on my face and out of desperation watched your video. I truly thought it’s not going to work. I tried your technique and got some relief. Best video and advice given. I do watch your other videos. Thank again. Can answer my question please why do you press on the opposite side? That would be helpful to understand.
I just started experiencing this excruciating pain last year. This year feels like a cannon ball is hitting my face and it has awakened me out of my sleep. I have had MS since 97' but TN is worse than the side effects of my MS injections.
I got TN in 2018 when I cracked my tooth and it hit my nerve. Since then I am suffering from this disease. My pain is controlled though almost 90% I would say with tegretol and gabapentine. Those have been my life savers. Some days pain would come back when I brush my teeth or eat something. So I avoid eating or brushing on the right side of my mouth where I have TN. Dentist suggested root canal but it didn’t help so that tooth was removed so I lost my tooth and the pain stayed. Too much talking aggravates my pain or if I eat frequently ( chewing) . My pain triggers are citrus fruits or vegetables so I stay away from them. Even bananas or too much caffeine aggravates my pain. Wanted to share my experience so that if even 1 person can get relief by avoiding certain foods I will be happy! Try to meditate before sleep! Few deep breaths will help in getting rid of day to day stress! All the best !
It’s the worse pain I ever felt. I made a video talking about the pain. I will make another one talking about what worked for me and how it has changed my life in a very short time. just trying my best to put the video together somehow because others need to know they’re not alone in the nightmare. This Dr Berg video really helped me in the middle of the worse times. Thank you Dr Berg. There is a plant that really made it got less and less painful. I think it shrank whatever tumor was resting on the nerve. I don’t even know if it’s temporary relief or not but I’ll take it became that pain is unbearable.
This worked instantly thank you. Having some nerve pain after an ear infection. Its like getting poked in the ear with a sharp object and has reduced me to tears on many occasions. Much appreciated.
I am a patient of trigeminal Neurologia and got a nerve block procedure, too, which didn't work for long. But now I have found my main triggers and am living a pain-free life. Neither brushing nor any physical activity triggers the pain, but whenever I eat food that contains citric acid, i immediately get caught up. Also, swimming in chlorine water triggers the pain. My last attack was when I had cough n fue and took a few antibiotics with Arinac HCl. I got consecutive mornings pain attacks that made me unconscious even. I didn't take tegral and just controlled it with my diet. Now absolutely fine! Now my goal is to keep myself fit to avoid any type of allopathic medicine. Or find a researcher who can work for medicines that don't cause problems in TN.
Dr. Berg, you rock. I am learning something new every time I view your videos. The service you are providing is tremendously helpful, such that, I wish more doctors would follow your lead. I think it is sad that nutrition is not part of the average D.O. or general doctor educational regime. My doctor is all about prescription medications and nothing about nutritional health. Dr. Berg, like I said, you rock.
You mentioned that if it was related to a virus that you need to support your Adrenals and you stated that you would share how to do that, but I'm not seeing anything here on Adrenal support.
Shelly Shel215 I used to have T N and the dr said it was uncurable. I dont have to explain the horrible pain I was going through. So I beg God to help me as I cant keep living with this horrible pain. I find an article online about a woman who used to have TN, But was healed through a fast. Jesus explains that sometimes situations need prayer AND fasting. Based on that she Goes on a 3 day fast. No food only fluids and after 3 days of fasting and praying she was healed! I immediately tried the fast. After the first day, the pain decreases. After the 2nd day even more . And after the 3rd day I was healed ! Praise Jesus Christ , I was healed! Please try this and trust God ! God bless you
@@PrincessAfrica3 I too believe I have been healed the same way...by the Grace of God. I know many of you will not believe, but I no longer suffer and I suffered over 15 years....No meds worked like fasting and prayer. I now fast on a regular basis. I thank God for my healing and ask him to allow me to be discomfort (pain) free each day. God bless you. For those that think I must have NOT truly has TN; I assure you 'I had it in the worst way.
Hartensia Johnson praise Jesus Christ, sis! Im so happy God revealed this to you. God bless you, I pray more people suffering because this horrible, demonic condition will be healed by our loving Lord.
Botox at 180Mg. every three months. My doctor does the entire forehead but concentrates on the pain center. However, mine was caused by a chemical injury. I fought it for 20 years. Now I am pain free!
When I was 19 I was beaten unconscious. The guy pounded my head in. He shattered my jaw snapping the Jaw nerve. From then I had neuralgia in my face and the top of my head. Since then I've have had a major tooth infection, that landed me in hospital and surgery, and then in 2007 I had a large cyst removed from.under my left ear. No body understands how painful it is living with nerve damage. Its impacted my entire life. I've had everything medication possible for it and it never made slightest difference. So I haven't taken any meds for it for years. It got so bad at point I was considering ending life. Thankfully I didn't ( obviously) but it can get to much
Almost instant reduction from wanting to rip open my face to able to to go to sleep - miraculous! Thank you so much. I’m loaded up with pain killers - so tomorrow will tell.
WOW!! I've been having this problem for years! When it happens, it for days or even weeks. Went to ER thinking I had an infection, thy said i didn't and there was nothing they could do but refer me to a specialist. I LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!
I have been suffering from Neuralgic facial pain after dental issues for the last 42 years. It lasts many days without relief. This rime it came after oral surgery from an old car accident. I was suffering from surgery but I realized the surgery pain should be getting better but it was getting worse, I then realized it must be my neuralgia back again. The dentist gave me a script for my favorite med. I never had a problem getting it in NY and NJ when I lived there but herein small town Tenn, it is nowhere to be had. I have to wait until Monday (3 days away) to have my dentist to rewrite he script. I can't wait that long. I did what I did when I was younger, buy a bottle and go home and drink myself to sleep. I hated to do that but it always worked On my home tonight I thought I had no choice and bought a bottle of Kahlua. I read your article and did the opposite of what I had been doing and rubbed the opposite side of my head. I did not expect 100% and I didn't get it but I am so pleased with around 85-95% I am thrilled with the results. If I can get a few hours of sleep I will be indebted. To you thank you so much. I don't think I have trigeminal neuralgia since it is for days but this relieved enough pain that I can function and sleep. But a glass of Kahlua doesn't hurt either, Thank you so much for this video it is a life changer for someone like me. UPDATE the very same night (last night) the pain returned with a vengeance...
I've tried it all. I've had constant, type 2 TN for 11 years now, and nothing works except the normal anti-epileptic meds, which barely dulls the pain. I've tried this before, and by all the gods I wish it worked, I really do. It does nothing for my pain. I think maybe I'm too far gone.
I've been experiencing similar pain and my docs are in the process of trying to figure out the cause. What ever it is I've got, this definitely helps where pain killers do not.
I asked my relative to try this technique. She told me that it worked and that it does provide noticeable relief every time the onslaught of pain is triggered. Thank you so much Dr. Berg !!!!
This never worked for me. I have to Crack my ears to drain my lymph, avoid Histamine and use peppermint. I take peppermint oil pills and put peppermint oil on a qtip in my ears. My ears give me immediate relief. I've been in remission since 2018.... although I have bouts of pain from time to time (I immediately get my oil).
I had a really bad delivery with my last baby but i would rather go through this again than the pain of TMJ. OMG.The nearer the brain, the worse the pain 🥲 Dr Berg, you are awesome, thank you so very much. Bless you and your family. 🙋🏻♀️ Hi Karen ✋ Love your cooking videos as well 👍🏻🌟💐
Thank you so much .I am a mom . I suddenly developed this out of nowhere ..it hurt so much especially in my ear and gum ..accompanied by a burning painful migraine in my right temple..nothing helped ...but this has given me alot of relief . Thank YOU so very much...dr Eric..🙏
yea the pain is unreal! th only meds that worked for me ( sort of) was gabapentin and lyrica. I finally got the mvd and the pain was gone!!. if you go that route find a surgeon that has done a lot of them.

I have definitely noticed that any stress causes the pain to be a trigger.
Yes i believe so too. It's my high level stress that got me this shingle which in itself is just so painful to go through it.😢😢.. I guess I'll try to do my best to alleviate my stress and do some meditation and hopefully it will go away a bit.. how are you now?
I have been crying and in pain all day… literally have had attacks every 5 minutes. It worked!!!!! I can’t thank you enough 🙏🏾❤️
I truely relate💕😭,im in a magirt flare up right now.the pain is beyond Infinity
How much and how often did you take it please? It’s so unbearable
My wife just tried this. Let me tell you the sigh of relief she gave was euphoric. Thank you Dr. Berg.

Berg.
Have you considered surgery? 😢
You really understand my daily struggles
May God Almighty ease your pain and suffering and grant you good health and permanent healings
I slept only maybe 5 hours in three days time
Yes,
I had it in 00'-01', absolutely nightmarish ordeal during a time of stress.

@Jordon AvantI have never heard that you can get an aneurysm from trigeminal neuralgia

Did it help you ?? As ms cause same things with trigeminal nerve as artery compression does
I too have MS and Fibromyalgia.

Wow , I would have been dismissed from that office that day.

Thanks Dr Berg, I used a multi prong approach and have stopped TN pain totally within a month but I will continue with everything. I stopped rubbing the painful side like you said here, got B12 shot, used red light therapy twice a day and cut out dairy, gluten and processed sugar. Berg.
Brenda Epperson how we're you cured if you don't mind ☺
My mom just got diagnosed with this two weeks ago and she is in so much pain that I can barely get myself to visit her because it makes me so sad....
Dr Berg: Any new update for TN research? Please post a new video.

I am here to ask 2 questions:
1. Is it possible that I got Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia due to corona virus?
2. If so, how to get rid of it?
Did you ever get any answers elsewhere you could share? My wife is experiencing trigem flare ups and had covid 3 times. Thank you
I also had Delta and I'm having the same problem with my left side. the pain is horrible.
This is so interesting, I woke up one night with the exact pain you mentioned on the right side, one tooth too! This was about two weeks after my family had COVID but I never had COVID symptoms. Any updates on your question?
You’re not alone. I had Covid for the second time in January and have been dealing with this for the last 6 months as well
Why mvd failed? Did not you have compression on trigeminal nerve ??
I used to do this alot a few years ago to release tension in my jaw from TMJ. Brought me to tears but was so worth the pain. Hurts soooo good.
Tmj is nothing compared to TN

Mines came from trauma. I am in constant pain and have been for TWELVE YEARS! God please heal me🤲
Hanan Yamini..God help you through it all, it's a cruel and relentless pain.
@@taraann7753 Thank you❤ ,and yes it is
I know exactly how you feel! It's excruciating and I need some relief like yesterday!
Hanan Yamini Me too; mine has been 17 years, 24/7
I just started experiencing this excruciating pain last year. This year feels like a cannon ball is hitting my face and it has awakened me out of my sleep.
I have had MS since 97' but TN is worse than the side effects of my MS injections.
I can't believe this. I am generally so medicated and still in pain. This worked in a matter of seconds. Why has no one told me before?
Thank you! God Bless
Thanks Dr Berg, this was extremely helpful and got rid of the pain within a couple of hours.
LITERALLY... LITERALLY just tried this and the pain stopped. I don't know for how long and I don't know if what I have is this but that helped
Thanks a lot. Massaging on the other side of the face is really working and reduced a lot of my pain.
Hello dear, are you completely cured now or is your ear still hurting you? I suffer like you every day and this is very difficult
This really helped me! Thank you!
Good to hear that! Glad it helped you.
Im 12 years old and have this, i suffered it my whole life
That must be really hard. I'm much older and struggle with it. I hope and pray you find relief for your pain.
Sir Eric can you help me?
Yes, mine too. He looked at me as if i had 2 heads when i refused medication for OA 😩
Can stress cause this? Or bring it on?
You mentioned that if it was related to a virus that you need to support your Adrenals and you stated that you would share how to do that, but I'm not seeing anything here on Adrenal support.
I have nerve damage from a parotidectomy 4 years ago..only recently has it progressively worsened. I will try these
God I wish it was helping right now. I'm in so much pain right now. I'm gonna keep trying to massage it and pray it helps.
@@user-lr4dj8fs6e wow, I suffer with severe Tn type 2 constant, many years. I will try fasting. Thank you. 💐
Botox at 180Mg. every three months. My doctor does the entire forehead but concentrates on the pain center. However, mine was caused by a chemical injury. I fought it for 20 years. Now I am pain free!
Genius. Pure and simple!
Thank you!!!!
Thankfully I didn't ( obviously) but it can get to much
Oh wow I am 19 myself right now and have had it since I was 17, 2 months before being 18. Sorry you have it and dealt with it from a young age.
Almost instant reduction from wanting to rip open my face to able to to go to sleep - miraculous! Thank you so much. I’m loaded up with pain killers - so tomorrow will tell.
if it is tn, painkillers don't do anything. morphine or what ever has zero effect
This is magic! Pain occipital on right side here, so messaged identical spot on the good side, and pain on the painful side disappeared!
I've been having this pain due to the fact that I got shingles, and this massage is the only thing that relief my pain. Thank you Doctor
Is it still affecting you? How long did it last if you no longer get episodes of pain?
Amazing. I was having this pain for over an year and this technique worked. But now the pain switched side.
What did you do when pain switched? Did you work on the now good side?
I've been experiencing similar pain and my docs are in the process of trying to figure out the cause. What ever it is I've got, this definitely helps where pain killers do not.
I don't get it, how does this help if you are massaging on the other side. What is the basis behind it
I asked my relative to try this technique. She told me that it worked and that it does provide noticeable relief every time the onslaught of pain is triggered.
Thank you so much Dr. Berg !!!!
WOW!
I just massaged the right side around the joint for several minutes and now I can touch the left side of my face. So thankful that I looked this up.
How do you drain your Lymph ?
Has anyone taken Gabapentin for this facial nerve pain?
I had a really bad delivery with my last baby but i would rather go through this again than the pain of TMJ. OMG.The nearer the brain, the worse the pain 🥲 Dr Berg, you are awesome, thank you so very much. Bless you and your family. 🙋🏻♀️ Hi Karen ✋ Love your cooking videos as well 👍🏻🌟💐

You talk about Keto and TN??? Mind blown, this is like the channel made for me. I have TN and am on Keto
Amen. I lost almost 80lbs with Fasting and Keto. I am now free of this horrible condition. I praise God for showing me how Prayer, fasting, and KETO have changed my life. All praise to God and may he bless you🛐😇🙏
