I did run this on my 1 Tb external hard drive and send it to another external hard drive who is 2 Tb what I did get was 7.949.481 files in 15.902 folders 447Gb but what to do with all of this recup_dir folders there are no photo or video there what to do next ?
Hello, i used photorec to recover the data that was accidentally deleted , the videos are not playing though, its just a black screen...do you know how to fix this?

Make sure swipe down on your phone screen and tap the current USB connection, change it file transfer. The PC should recognize the phone then, otherwise the pc will just charge the battery.
Tried this on a corrupted card of my DLSR.
Not only did I recover my files, I recovered photos deleted over a year ago ... this is truly amazing!

Sometimes, PhotoRec needs to run a deep scan, so just wait till it finished recovering the files.

where to find the folder recup? i cant find the folder in tools pls help
recup folder will be created during the recovery process. Check the folder after the process is completed.
