Ryobi One HP impact driver is $119 & Milwaukee Gen 4 impact driver is $149…. it’s a $30 dollar price diff which is not a lot… at least compared to back then when Ryobis best drill was $80ish dollar☠️…
I’d personally choose the Milwaukee impact one since my workload varies as a contractor. But Ryobi is definitely stepping up their game for sure and the price for the drill does justify it

@@carlosf9278The PBLID02B is $80 USD brand new, and right now is $57 on Amazon. I got the PBLID01B for $42 new. It's missing the "auto" feature compared to the 2B, but that's fine. Alot of these tool channels are missing the whole point of ryobi. It's for the homeowners, weekend DIYers. Not a professional using the tools everyday. If you're using tools everyday to fix cars, you're getting the good stuff. But if u build a shed one year. The next you're repairing a deck or hanging pictures. Ryobi is just as good as because price is sooo much more affordable

So building an average deck at 350 Square feet takes roughly 1225 screws. 1225 x 5 secs (ryobi took 5 secs longer in the video than the milwaukee) is almost 2 hours longer so that's a savings of $60-$80 that you don't have to pay your employee and just on that 1 job. It will add up alot over time. This is why speed matters.

Also check the most Trusted RUclips tool reviewer as well, check VCG Construction, the guy there named Vince had built a Flex test rig for conducting some serious test of the top impact driver brands DeWalt 840, 850 & 887 with 6.0Ah DeWalt 21700 cell 20V battery and Dewalt's 1.7Ah Powerstack. VS Milwaukee Gen 3 with 6.0Ah high output VS Flex 24V with 6.0Ah Stack Lithium. You'll see how Flex destroyed both DeWalt and Milwaukee. And that's a very very FAIR Test and Fair Comparison. Other Channels are Biased and Unfair when they conducts test of Milwaukee Gen4 with 8Ah High Output VS Flex Quick Eject impact driver with common and standard 18650cell 5Ah battery so of course Milwaukee will beat the Flex in a biased and unfair review.

I also do own some Ryobi tools as well. FYI I'm not loyal to any tool brands. I buy them whatever is on clearance sales or discounted price. My old Ryobi P238 (1st generation of Ryobi brushless tools) had driven a Total of 15,600 assorted fasteners so far for the record keeping I kept the boxes and buckets of deck screws sizes from 2" to 4" long decking and framing screws, and boxes of Spax Powerlag screws mostly Torx T-30's and T-40's from 3-1/2" to 10" long And the tool is well used and been abused it fell 6 times and the tool is still up to this day. Once I reached 25,000 assorted fasteners I will send the tool back to TTI Ryobi to show them including the proofs the empty boxes and buckets of screws and Spax Powerlags screws and a couple of boxes of lag bolts as well sizes from 3/8 to 1/2 dia. Lengths from 3" to 5-3/4" I have all the receipts of the fasteners I purchased and used besides the boxes.

That is a high capacity Ryobi battery not a high performance Ryobi battery. I know they look the same but they are very much so different in performance I have one of each and I bought the high capacity one on accident so just letting you know because I found out the hard way also if I add my two cents I think the p238 where are we impact driver was better than this new one that they have just saying

As a Ryobi Battery platform owner, although I don't think I have any brushless Ryobi tools, I'm quite stoked to see a side by side comparison of these 2 tools. I may be a professional, but I'm not a contractor that rarely lays the tool down for any reason. However, the HeavyDuty body repair facility that I now work at has required the use of my battery powered tools to the point that they are rapidly approaching the end of their operational use. I will be stepping up to "team-Red" or "team-Yellow" in the near future. Milwaukee seems to be winning the battle in my quest to make the decision with offering such wiiiiiiide rang of 12v tools who's batteries can be changed on the same charger.

For anyone watching this video. Both of these tools will get the job done. But the Milwaukee driver will probably have a longer longevity than the ryobi since Ryobi is aimed more for the DIY community…. That said, it’s still very impressive that Ryobi is stepping up their game… battery life I couldn’t say since I’m more of a Dewalt/Milwaukee guys because of my job as a contractor… at home tho, I use mostly Ryobi products and I have no complaints

I lost all interest after $1000.00 in high price Milwaukee tools 15 years ago. After couple years they fell apart, I beat the crap out out Dewalt and Ryobi and they still work. I'm now Dewalt and Ryobi only, but lately I'm adding more and more Ryobi because they are the only brand that has a narrow crown 1-1/2" stapler, I find it very handy........
