Your a hell of a guy and you've got mad home brewn skill. I'm also thankful that you keep your content clean, I can kick back and watch your stuff without worrying about rhe kids hearing trash. Kudos to you my friend 👏
The water could be coming from the side glass upper area of molding.. usually stretches leaving a gap. water goes in side C pillars and through the rear hatch shocks bolt.
I didn’t even know what flocking was until I watched your video today. You did a pretty good job considering it was your first time doing it. 👍 **That blue color is pretty sick**
I would highly suggest spraying the adhesive. You could cover the hole dash in probably a minute or two so you have more time to flock. Or one person lay adhesive and another following with the flock.
@@stevenball7375 yawp flocked my dash and I cant imagine the adhesive being reduced especially since the instructions specifically say to roll it/brush it on
Now that its been a week or so, would you say the flock powder can still rub/scuff off? By slight touch or would you really have to hit it/scrape it hard to mess it up?
I flocked my ash tray red and bought personal box stickers and made a jdm replica of a personal box. For Best results paint first the part the same color as the flock. I used tape and can spray glue for results.
iirc you need the pedal assembly from a manual ef/crx maybe da but idk. Take a look at the exploded parts diagrams for both on a hondaparts site, and maybe some underdash photos, and it will become more clear. If you plan on using a hydro trans, you might consider an aftermarket pedal to avoid the cable/hydro adapter. Just pay attention to mounting an lengths of you go that route. You will love the manual.
Unrelated to the video but I was looking at lifting my 50$ 94 civic... any ideas you may have? I was lookin at 3” strut spacers and possibly pucks under the body. And before anyone says your ruining a civic it is rusty ash and not titled🤷🏽♂️ lmk if you got any ideas
Unfortunately, the CRX and EF are notorious for rear water retention from leaking. If you have a sunroof check the water return tubes. They often separate leaking water into the car. If that's not the problem it's most always the tail light gaskets. PS. I wouldn't flock a bicycle let alone a dash. It's not all what it's suppose to be. Just my opinion, however I must say your flocking job looks oretty dam good👍 My current dash I am covering with high end Suede material using 3M contact adhesive. A bitch to do? Yes! Worth it when done? Absolutely!🙂
Flocking is cool for the 1st year then ehh. Don't flock anything you touch often. Rally racers do it to the dash to eliminate glare. Better off gluing stretch fabric for anything that will see any wear at all.
At first I didn't like the color. But, it grew on me by the end. I think it will look dope once it's done. It will be different too, I'm sure most would have gone for a red type r kind of look. Nice job Dana. 👍
nice man. the part where you were reinstalling the dash, it really seemed like it matched the interior really nicely. especially the carpet. definitely digging the blue.
Dana, I've had a pair of CRX aftermarket seat brackets for years, but I always end up w/ hatchbacks & can't use them. I'd love to DONATE them to you, but I cannot pay to ship them out. If you want them or want pics message me anytime here (I don't do any social media) w/ how to contact you.
Seems like alot of organized chaos lol that's how I roll anybody can come in my garage n think Jesus how does he find anything yet I know where everything is!!
You could’ve did it in sections I’m just saying I’m not a professional but I’ve done it do the hard parts cracks and crevices hard to reach places then do the big sections last
Glad the package showed up and will be used. Thanks for the shout out!
That blue looks nice to do a blue interior

I felt it helped out my flock experience to do it at night when it was cold. The adhesive didn’t dry as fast. Keep it up Dana much love!
I've been waiting for this video! Dropped it on a Friday!
Dashboard looks good 👍 1 question if you rub your hand on it dose the flock come off or is it glued pretty good 👍
That's what I'm asking. I think it would be easier to cover the dashboard with fabric
It comes off and leaves prints
One of the best honda channels that real underrated. Been watching for a long time now.
Maybe it could be done in sections to help out with timing
I don’t know how I’m getting water in mine it has cutout doors maybe that it doesn’t always leak only big storms

I think if you used a spray gun to apply the adhesive you could probably do it by yourself again with more time to apply the flock. Keep Gunnin!
The adhesive is thick like house paint and it can't be reduced. Idk if it can be sprayed with a gun.
@@stevenball7375 yawp flocked my dash and I cant imagine the adhesive being reduced especially since the instructions specifically say to roll it/brush it on
You won’t get an even coat. You need to roll it on. It’s been done that way for years
Dash that's cracked...cardboard backing, bodyfiller to reshape...flock

You killed it with the flocking much respect ✊
Homies
"The Flock-It Mini-Pumper" That is flockin hilarious!!
The flock has a nice look that say just dying the dash and plastics. Glad I watched the whole video.
Interior color looks good already
Man, seeing the teggy in the background makes me wish he was into 5th gens.
Any advice on a clutch pedal assembly for my EF I can’t seem to find a interchangeable part I’m swapping from auto to stick. Thx keep up the videos.

Chasing water leaks of my own. Can anyone recommend new seal/foam tape to make new taillight seals? I'm 0-2 on my Amazon tape trials.
