Great how to video on red fishing, I switched from my phone to TV to see the details. When fishing OBX on the beach for big reds last October the bait shops told us the fish were in the sound. You proved it! Also, the mullet run is always the best fishing of the year.

Dang that was a great video Elias. Never caught a big red before but they seem to put up a longer fight than striper. That batch of purple/chartreuse you made does really well first light before the sun rise. Works well both in NYC and the Sound.
The pro move was losing the shiny new 11" pliers and replacing them with the rusty pair you found in the floorboard of your buddy's truck. Big reds can sense that kind of thing, and thought you were just some guy in a kayak with no net and a rusty pair of pliers. Genius!

Beating Redfish on the head. Who else does it better? This is my favorite channel. Getting heavier jigheads to get lures down deep has been an issue as of late, really a while.
