We took a trip to fish eastern WA lakes in search of kokanee but was not successful. We did have fun with yellow perch though. Its definetly too early so we will be back

I have a lot of respect for a guy that can admit when he screwed up and educated his viewers instead of covering it up like it never happened. Addicted and Jordan covered up and deleted the video of his screw up fishing pinks in the Dosewallips a few years ago. They could have had a educational moment, but chose to ignore it. If you mention it in any addicted comments they'll delete it. Even if it's the smallest thing like checking to see if a body of water is open it's pretty easy to forget to double check.
The way I see it is everyone is not perfect . We all makes mistakes from time to time but we learn from it. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong and definitely don't mind sharing information especially if it will helps others from making the same costly mistakes. Yeah I wasn't so lucky. They really need to do a better job providing information on lakes though. So confusing trying to find accurate details on Fish and Game websites.

YEah I have made that mistake before, fishin on a closed lake! But lucky no ticket! Now thats a big ass perch! chunky!
