Join me for some travel photography on the the beautiful island of Kefalonia (Cephalonia), in Greece. I'll be visiting the village of Assos and Mrytos Beach, two of the most stunning locations on the island.
Welcome to Japan Photo Explore, where I normally upload videos about travel and photography in Japan. However, while Japan was closed to visitors due to COVID, I travelled to Greece, and this is the first of my limited series Photo Explore - Greece.
I'll be posting more Photo Explore - Greece videos in the coming weeks, then I return to Japan to shoot more Japan Photo Explore videos. So whether you are planning to travel to Greece or Japan, or just enjoy some virtual travel, you have come to the right place.

For all the photography in this video I used Fujifilm X-T4 and the Fujifilm XF XF16-80mm f/4. For the video I used the X-T4 and a GoPro Hero 11

Fabulous destination Nick. The colours are beautiful and the beaches fantastic. And now that I know you can do it, more underwater video and stills. I love the white frames around the stills too, it really complements the colours. And nothing wrong with post card photos either.

Have you got a new gimbal Nick?

I have recently bought a GoPro Hero 11, which has amazing built in stabilisation, so I didn't use any gimbal in this video. However, the GoPro image quality is not very good in low light when the image stabilisation is turned on. So yes, I do have a new gimbal to use with the GoPro to get the best quality image in low light. I'll use this setup on the Japan trip, which is coming up soon.
