+William Melendez me too! i used to face plant 24/7 but now i can go around and sadly only do a 90 degree rotation hey don't judge I've only had four sessions ever ps I'm 11
+William Melendez check out my skiing video!
Just curious how much have u progressed since starting :DD
Hi Kevin - can you please do a video for:
1) how to wax your board and how to tune your board; and
2) how to clean your snow gear (waterproof jacket and pants), because i just came back from the snow and i had a mud-related accident.
Your editing is really improving
+FrogByteSG Thanks! Lots of practice.
+HelpingHand check out my skiing video!
All your video are awesome ! Top quality : short and really effective !
Thank you for sharing your tips !
+Stijn Gutierrez Now worries. Thanks for watching!
I'm going snowboarding tomorrow and I'm really excited because there's finally a ton of snow!!
Thanks you man I've been asking you all over social media for gear answers and you finally made a video. Thanks a lot!
Straightforward and to the point! Awesome!! Thanks!
Might do ones of these gear videos. Good to do a checklist every season to see what I have and what’s missing.
awesome tips man, really helpful! i'm off to whistler in a few days and your 10 GoPro tips and equipment video has helped heaps! ill link you my GoPro movie once it done in late april :)
Cool! Can't wait to check it out!
I've just picked up snowboarding and like watching your videos. Hopefully they'll help me to not like like a scrub in the mountains lol.
Can't wait for this year so psyched!!
i really enjoy this channel. If I had a full time job I would support your patreon!
+GreggyAnt Thanks man! Liking and sharing helps too.
could you do a video on the different types of boards for those who are thinking of buying? like shape flexibility and size etc. That would be real cool
What are your thought of going for a lower mask as opposed to a full on balaclava?
Btw best video I;ve seen so far! Trying to gather gear for my first over night snowboarding trip :)
Hey Kevin, I was wondering what your height/weight is? I just bought the Burton process for a somewhat all-mountain/park board. I'm 86kg and 6'0. I went with the 159 rather than 157. Good choice?
would you recommend the lock you have?? I had bought the Burton cable lock and it was garbage from day 1. What do you have??
I come from NZ, And as it is coming to Spring the snow is really soft and slushy, Any tips to riding this? Especially in the park, big fan of the park
Question about the headphones, when boarding is it a good idea to listen to music?
were headed to my Ashland this weekend and I'm reviewing what I need, I'm probably gonna get a new snowboard.
mt Ashland
Do you need to have two snowboardpants, when you are at a camp for five days. And it is your first time?
Lit videos Kevin! Good editing!
Do you only use snowboard wax when you are doing tricks/rails? Or do you use it when you just ride normally? :)
I can't wait for snowboarding!!
Hi Kevin, you are awesome! could you make a video about protection gear? that would be great!
Do you have snow already in your area? Here in Bern we have to wait at least until mid-december.... Can´t wait @;-)
I have a question what do you use the waterproof spray for?
+tyler wallace Shoes
+tyler wallace camera and boots and goggles
+tyler wallace check out my skiing video!
you spray your shell jacket, outer snow pants, and gloves with it. it is useful for adding a layer of protection to keep you dry, which keeps you warm
I love your videos man. keep up the good work!!!!!
+Willem Van Zadelhoff Thanks!
Kevin, you don't wear any protection, do you? BTW same for me malavitas and 32 boots, and I'm going to but Burton Process this season instead of my Joystick, ha-ha!
You're my idol
You seem to be a fan of Burton boards and bindings as a new rider is there any reason to choose the Burton board and bindings over other styles?
+StealthCharm I've had Burton boards and bindings most of my life because they give instructors great deals. I also like them because they have a great warranty policy.
how do yo find the sandbox helmet? I can't decide whether to buy a sandbox like yours or something without a peak, any advice?
Thank you for all the help!
hey, do you have any recommended kits for all mountain, but please not toooooo expensive?
Do you still have those bindings ? id love to have them for a collection!!
can you make a video on the process you do to re waterproof your jacket
Reason for new bindings Kevin?
Any tips for someone that needs to make some gear purchases but doesnt live in an area that has a snowboard / ski shop?
Amazon
THE HYPE IS REAL
Checklist complete. Ready for departure.
What the waterproof spray for?
What shirt are you wearing, like from what company.
where do you get big stickers like that
please man help me! I love riding at park but i also love going fast and riding regular slopes what kind of board should i get? it should be also flexible so i can butter. Is Burton blunt good for these things if not is there any better? please help
nice video! short but useful! way to go
where would you keep the extra stuff when you ride
What do you use the waterproof spray for?
Newer jackets and pants will have a water-proof coating on them, but over time they will wear off. A can of water-proof spray for clothes will ensure you stay dry on the slopes.
Hi i was wondering if you could tell what size and type of board i should get. I'm about 5 ft 9 and around 120 lbs, i prefer riding in ungroomed terrain and through the trees and stuff, i would like to start learning park this year but I probably won't do it as much.
+Martin Couturier I used this
/watch?v=2LUgFrkNE00
+Martin Couturier I made a video about board size that might help. ruclips.net/video/gnCWTponH_8/видео.html
+SnowboardProCamp +StealthCharm thanks :)
Did he mention what brand his belt was? Just curious...
I bought my snowboard/bindings used and i have size small and large bindings but my boots are size 7.5 (womens). Is it better to have small or large bindings?
+Kylie Rozzell It's probably better to have binding that are a bit too small than too big. I have size 10.5 boots with medium bindings.
what size are those pants? and how high are u? is that a skinny pant?
This board is sick Kevin. :D
+Ailison Carvalho Nice, you have the same one?
Unfortunately I don't bro, but next year I'll study in Vancouver and for sure I'll buy some as cool as this one. :D
+SnowboardProCamp ironically I got the same board and absolutely love it, lol mines blue though
Awesome vids though
+Ailison Carvalho check out my skiing video!
Are the headphones for music?
what are the things that you can rest your foot on when its not in the binding to give grip
I am stomp pad there great
On what gear do you use the water-proof spray?
On outer wear like coat bibs etc...
Could you make a video about how to wax your snowboard properly?
+Flkrt I have a waxing video on my channel, but I'll make a new one soon.
Where did you get the helmet?
Love your vids
Do you need Snowboard boots or can you use any type of boots
you need snowboard boots, normal boots won't work in snowboard bindings
are padded pants worthwhile?
+Matthew Pickett Padded pants are good if you aren't confident in your riding ability, but at a point you rely on them which isn't good.
how much do you weigh/height?
What do you use the waterproof spray for?
To reapply watertightness
Kevin whered u get the belt?!
Your a legend !!!!
Where did you get that to shirt
i hurt my need playing soccer smh!!! i hope i get a chance to go this season
what is the purpuse of the waterproof spray?
+jeroen of course, pants and jacket.
+jeroen check out my skiing video!
For what do u use the waterproofing spray ?
same question !
Waterproofing stuff of course!
+daniel poblete Same here. hahahaha
+Matt Kingsley Thanks !
+daniel poblete i usee it on my boots and pants, even tho their waterproof, the knees and butt of ur pants get waterlogged faster as they get older because the material brakes down so the added silicone spray fills the gaps that form between the fabric. to keepur tail and knees dry thru the day. added tip- wash ur snowboard clothes every once and awhile, the fabric will get dirty and the dirt will push in and make gaps for water to get into. i have a suit thats 3 years old by helly hansen and it still rocks bacause i take just the slightest bit of care in keeping them nice
Where is defence clothing? Shorts, top, knees, etc? =]
What about a bagpack?
its early March and I already can't find the board I want. Till october there will only be trash in the market. Idk if its a covid thing but the boards I like (in the size i want) are out of stock right after winter. (I live in europe)
If your just renting do you need wax?
+DANIEL KUTSCH No :)
Where is the jerky? I always have a full pound bag in my jacket.
where do you go snowboarding
Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler B.C. Canada
how often do you wax your board?
martin staff every 5 hours for me
Benjamin Wilson really? Is that rub on wax or the full works? Thanks
martin staff rub on every day (usually about 5 hours) and full works 1ce per week depending on how hard I go
Benjamin Wilson perfect thanks for that, only 11 days then off to Austria!!
martin staff have fun! ive always wanted to ride in europe
3rd
Don't you use wrist guards and things like that?
No not skateboarding
Smashes goggles with boots haha
Backpack?
+Robert Pergolis Will be in a future video.
Thank you so much
is it essential to get padded shorts?
Do I need to wax my board? Is it bad for my board if I don't?
never wax your board, if makes the wood deteriorate faster because you are comprimising the molecular structure of the atoms in the wood. its a pretty neat science actually. basically the wax acts to the wood the same way rust acts on metal. it slowly corrodes the grain in tbe wood which in turn make it weaker and less reliable. waxing also voids warrenty. people use wax to make their board faster but its gonna cost them bc their board will break sooner. its kinda like making a car faster with a turbo kit. sure it will be faster but the parts wear down faster and break more easily
+lacrosse4higher no wax contacts the wood dude, thats bullshit!
Паша nah man, ur wrong
it's not bad for the board if you don't, it just might make you go slower eventually. also waxing it does not ruin the board.
+Grace Hiljus ssshhhhhh go with the joke
The boots??
Sorry
dying to snowboard again
Yep helemaal gelijk👆🏼
What kind of spy goggles where those
Behwwts!!
Why is it so hard to ride a new board?
its really not that hard...
+lacrosse4higher hahaha
backpack maybe? i'm just sayin
+MrTrzonek Looking for a new one. Might be in an upcoming video.
Did you forget GoPro?
Here in Canada, all of that is a reason to laugh at. It is just
-jacket
-gloves
-helmet
-boots
-visor
-snowboard
-a pair of actual balls
pants?
White do you buy vax
im new to snowboarding, would anyone here sell me any gear they dont want or need for a good price? thanks!
Bro do more buttering tutorials
What about protection & backpack ?
+Pascal unwichtig Good question. I'm actually in the process of picking up a new backpack, so maybe that will be in an upcoming video.
IAmFozzy100 thats hillairious
Pascal unwichtig a duffel bag is fine, but I guess you could buy a snowboard bag but it’s really not worth it
Ahhhhh! Poor spare lens :P
hello jessy pinkman haaha
Boots? I don't need boots. I don't need a snowboard either. And clothes. I don't need that.
there is always that one guy that gives a thumbs down
