This channel is perfect, don’t change a thing! Binge watching the Mongrel build a couple of weeks back, fucking great. Thank you for keeping it simple and focusing on building!
Was weird for me to not see a bike use the heel of the boot for down shifting. I forgot that you old school types keep the design minimalists, got to say, it's looking great and truly enjoy seeing your ideas come to fruition. Keep up the awesome work, love the videos. thank you.
Battery in a tin box high up out of the way , or. Form a fulse oil cover shape and loose it there with some wiring , or fill that gap in next to the chain
Nice forward controls, I have 2 questions, 1- Is your down tuve from the neck, an angle piece ? 2- why your sidekick stand is on the right side of the bike ? Thanks bro
Looks great. There’s two things I don’t like about this bike. First it’s not mine 😁 second I really hate the rear fender supports. They look like dexion shelving or cheap exhaust strap. Only those two things though 😂
Any way to make the pegs sprung loaded for a bit of give? They'd throw you off quick as if you bank too hard or knock a curb... no bueno. Top work though pard
So, have you figured out how much you will charge when you start a production line for this frame design for all of us out here wanting one or at least how much for the plans and materials listing. Loving it so much I am wiping the drool off my chin as I type. Really nice work, all your videos of projects are amazing to follow along. Thank You.
Quite right, although over here we call it the AJS EOS! And the CB550 engine is almost a bolt in jobby for the EOS too - it's what I was planning to do to mine but I'm now yearning for an old AJS 500cc single.
Nice work, but I can see lots of potential weight savings by using some thinner stock for the battery box. Perhaps some other areas are somewhat overbuilt, but the potential for breaking is very low as you have it now. Good to see progress, and I don't side with the gent who said it'll never be ridden,
@@Icebuntrucker that's why every car on the market has solid pipes running under the car . Only reason they have flex hoses is to compensate for suspension travel .
In all fairness, the machine only made his work quicker - he would have still been able to do everything without it! I suppose that can be said about any tool hahaha
Having your battery exposed to the elements isn't, sorry, the smartest thing to do, especially in a country known for it's damp climate. Keep your battery clean and dry and it will last a long time.
Cheers for posting. See you on the next one.

Glad to see you back at making content! The is looking great!
I'd be tempted to put a nylon washer on the brake peg to pick up the slop, if there's any left after paint
Greetings urchling! We missed you
its of progress since last time, the look is good, even the wheels blend in with the frame theme. Cheers!
Won’t the exhaust be a tad close to the master cylinder? Makes me wonder if the brake fluid will get too hot?
Another great piece of work! Missed hearing from you.
I second this comment
👍👍👍😜🏴🦄🎣😁🤞✌️
It's really starting to come together now. It's finally looking like an actual bike.

Job certainly is a good en Matt, credit to you sir!!
Nice work, it's the fiddly bits that take so much time. Thanks Matt.
Great Job and a nice clean sheet of paper :)
Looks great Matt. Nice work 👍👍👍
good stuff again.. could put a reservoir delete tube on save mounting the old one maybe
Very nice brackets, nice shapes. The floating battery adds a little something too, interesting to the eye. Cheers
Hello Matt,
I think you should put the exhaust tips facing out out down. Love the video's keep up the good work and god bless and stay safe.
It's looking great not much more to do 👍👍👍👍
Proper job, well done Matt 👍
Looks sweet! A couple of thin delrin or nylon washers would take up the slack on those levers.
A lovely little setup you have there and when welding in the box I would of primed and painted the surfaces that the powder coating won't reach.
Looking at the laser cutter it’s second time lucky with the brackets.
Loving your work, Matt

Nice minimal but sturdy thing for the battery. The gear shaft extension is my favourite out of these bits for some reason.

A lot of people have mentioned the supports, they might get changed yet.
What do you mean don't know why... Why because it looks good another top job 😎
Like to see how u did the brake lines
Nice work fella. I noticed towards the end an fair bit of exposed frame low down at the front end. Are you thinking of going down the belly pan route?
Any way to make the pegs sprung loaded for a bit of give? They'd throw you off quick as if you bank too hard or knock a curb... no bueno. Top work though pard
i think the battery holder is a missed opportunity for some obligatory "speed" holes?
I would have to agree.
Hello Urch , Love what you're doing , Please what are the sizes of the front and rear tires and rims ? ^_^

I don't think I will be making them for sale but you're welcome to the dxf files if you want to have a go yourself. Cheers
You oughta make Urch side covers for the engine! It's more Urch now than Honda, the would look cool and custom also imao.
Foot controls are often the downfall of a custom bike - these look smart and in a good position...
You should fabricate some CNC rims.
Great work and blessing from Puerto Rico
Awesome 👍🏾🙌🤙🏼
It's looking good 👍👍🇨🇱
Very neat.........
hi bike is looking good
nice
Battery going to sit in all the water the tire throw up without any protection ... Please !
Just like Australia we use tyres in the uk. 😉
Matt, Can you sell some plasma stencils on eBay/your site direct please? :)
Don't forget to add solder and heat shrink to the wire ends before plugging them into the battery lugs! It helps keep the grunge from growing!
Nylon shims for the brake pedal
Sweet
your wheels, calipers and possibly front fork , are from Regal Raptor Spyder

Given the weight of the rest of the bike, I don't think a few grams on the battery tray will make too much difference :P
Its growing on me.
I still hate that rear wheel though.
hang in there.mate
Nice
👍👍👍😜🏴🦄🎣😁🤞✌️
To many ads now ruins the video
Why bother with a braided brake hose it's got no movement a solid pipe would do
A Solid pipe could easily be dented / crushed not ideal for brakes ?
@@Icebuntrucker that's why every car on the market has solid pipes running under the car . Only reason they have flex hoses is to compensate for suspension travel .
That's true. Cheers

I've been watching the Mongrel build and this video popped up.. wtf he has a CNC set up now. Jesus.

Stupid youtube isn't recommending your vids... I had to go look you up.
I've given up trying to work out how RUclips works.
