I really wish Geeta led with Glimmora and finished the battle with a Supreme Overlord Kingambit. She could keep the rest of her team, and it would still be a much better champion battle.
Furthermore, it’s somehow implied that was her holding back because there is a rematch that involves challenging Pokémon. And yet, she still insists that her Glimmora is her ace, even given this is her toning herself down.
Funny thing about that... I'm pretty sure she *does* end up doing exactly that if you rematch her after clearing Indigo Disc's plot, placing them in the order that actually makes sense for their abilities.
Poison is my secondary type of choice. I tend towards dark and poison teams with a fairy anchor in my past few violet playthroughs. Poison earned my love in gen 8 with Toxricity and I have no regrets mixing them in a Zoroark troll team.
Pokemon really went from saving the world from gangsters, having the universe reset, and alien gods to... Going to school and dealing with some bullies who run a MLM and are making cars to run over other school kids... There's just no actual threat in the game like dang.
@@Xephrost_Gaming mhm, and just the right level of challenge.. especially since poison always felt like such a undervalued typing to me, I've always been more of a water type guy.
I truly hate the veluza in this game. Besides just being annoying in battle, surfing anywhere near them aggros them at super speed and it seems like everyone has one in this game
I appreciate how courteous and welcoming you are in these shows.
I haven't kept up with the last few pokemon generations so it's so fun to see alternate forms like farigaraf
Getting two in the same week is a welcome gift!

Yeah, it's very weird that they made her ace pokemon Glimmora when it's whole ability is mostly useful at the START of combat.

Just in time for the weekend!
Excited to watch later tonight. Hopefully the availability of pokemon in violet made this challenge not too bad!

I love Toxtricity. At some point I want to do an electric only series and I can't wait to use toxtricity. It's just such a good design.

I unironically love poison type; other than ghost it's my favorite. Though grass is my favorite that's actually viable.
I wish the poison type had better matchups because there are so many really cool poison type pokemon.
@@Xephrost_Gaming that's kinda my point on viability. Ghost and poison have arguably the best designs, they just don't pull their weight.
Neet, im currently in the middle of a poison type run in Violet. 😅
It's a fun run!

And Veluza is always stronger than I expect it to be. It's a rough encounter.
