Kinda pointless after the first 2 stages. Pretty strong into Pokémon using like thunder or something though or fire blast. Kinda sucks have a +1 stage though against 100% moves.

I feel like the important things about Alolan Muk, defensively, are - Its typing means it cant be poisoned unless your opponent brings Salazzle - It has one weakness to Ground, and its not even a quad weakness - Dark also means its immune to Prankster bs - Muk is crazy bulky by default and its stat distribution really favors moves like Curse - Poison Touch just means it can win against every non poison or steel type by attrition when the stars align
And don't forget about its hidden ability, Power of Alchemy, in double battles, like pairing it with a Medichan, knocking it out so Muk can use Pure Power, or Dancer from Oricorio so it can also use dancing moves like Dragon Dance while still being able to attack.

Like Receiver Passimian going through the roof if you pair him with Misty Explosion Azumarill and he can inherit Huge Power and activate his Weakness Policy. PoA and Receiver are inherently kinda weird to set up and its a doubles only strategy. But I get you - if you can pull it off, it makes Muk even better.

Did something funny where I used Protect Muk + Explosion Weezing with Levitate so that way Muk gets it through Power of Alchemy and therefore becomes immune to SE damage

Dude, Alolan Muk carried me through my first playthrough of Gen 7. With his only weakness being Ground type, my Primarina could easily cover for any Rock or Ground types that we came across.

A.Muk quickly became one of my favourite mons from gen 7 to the point where I went out of my way to farm for a shiny Grimer which I then never used because shiny A.Grimer is perfection and I just didn't wanna risk ruining that.
I gotta one of the funniest moments I had with Muk was going up against someone using Registeel. Could not get rid of that one since I decided to make it chunky boy with black sludge item and acid armor. Earthquake barely did anything to it and I laughed that I landed an ice punch on the Registeel and froze it. What added more was I got max turns on it too

Gen-7 is actually my favorite generation. I wasn't big on Z-Moves but USUM was my favorite Pokedex. I play VGC a lot more than Smogon Singles and VGC 2018 was (in my opinion) the most fun year of VGC of the DS/3DS era
I remember when I swept somebody with Alolan Muk! It was AMAZING!! Such a tank and a total BEAST!! It is the Alolan form that saved my life in Pokemon Moon! It's AMAZING!
I've used It, the moveset was Minimize Poison fang Knock off Pain Split Poison fang is offensive stab with great badly Poison chance Knock off for damage and disruption The rest of the set was for survivability. It was nearly unkillable in many battles

Alolan muk is a staple mon for me. Love this mon. I used it my entire play through of sun and moon and make one every chance i get.
it WAS used often in VGCs of the 3DS era as a Tapu check.
Power of Alchemy + Moody makes it hard to get rid of lol.
Caught one and used it in the dragon challenge.
Ended up really liking it and keeping it for the final team.

Grape Muk never caught my interest but Rainbow Muk is one of my favorite Alolan forms.
The reason a lot of the alolan mons are so slow is because when you’re in Hawaii you want to take things slow and relax
