This was a great presentation of this classic Langdon comedy. I love the way Vernon Dent played the music teacher and the junk dealer. Harry Edwards was a wonderful director of Langdon films.
I wish Harry's movie The Strong Man had a soundtrack more like this one. This is a wonderful short comedy of Harry's. Thank you so much for posting and I've enjoyed going through your channel. Keep up the great work, please :-)
It's a truly charming film, Ben, and your score and performance enhanced it marvelously. Thanks for sharing.
It was really cool to hear the audience reaction to the film. Thanks for putting this up, Ben!
Special!
I do fell in love with all Harry Langdon's Artworks.
He makes you dream, laugh, cry and think about it.
Not ordinary at all. Amazing.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this film of Harry's, here on my YT channel. I've been a fan for decades and as much as he may be not be a fit for some people I'm delighted to hear about people like you who really "get" him.
@@silentfilmmusic Thanks for your words. Thanks to you and everyone who uploads these wonderful, historical movies and allow us to deeply enjoy us!
Adorable little short. Thank you so much for the upload!
Thanks!
I believe Lee Erwin recorded an organ score for "The Strong Man" but I'm pretty sure it's not on the current DVD of this film. Wish it was available.
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Job Ben !
Whoa! That’s the same Vernon Dent who gained fame working as a foil for The Three Stooges.
Somebody needs to show him how to carry a bass.
Harry was great even though looking like Laurel !! Haha
that stereotypical jewish merchant LMFAO
Ridiculously stupid, but very funny, rags-to-riches story!
