Wonderful, with a great gag for the finish which is worth waiting for. Most interesting: Written and directed by Norman Taurog, who lived long enough to direct Elvis films in the '60s.

Interesting that this movie was directed by Norman Taurog like the commentator below points out. He directed my favorite Deanna Durbin feature '' Mad about Music '' in 1938.

Just Googled silent movie stars or lesser stars after Chaplin & co., 55 pages they give of all types & he was my first pick. Looking forward to discovering more. It's all in the timing.

At least the organist is accompanying the film instead of just droning.

Some comedians deserve to die in obscurity. Case in point: Mr. Hamilton.
