Wonderful, with a great gag for the finish which is worth waiting for. Most interesting: Written and directed by Norman Taurog, who lived long enough to direct Elvis films in the '60s.
Genius; no comedy in this day & age, I know of - can make me laugh this much ! Thanks for sharing....
Interesting that this movie was directed by Norman Taurog like the commentator below points out. He directed my favorite Deanna Durbin feature '' Mad about Music '' in 1938.
+Chris Banner Taurog worked a lot directing shorts at Educational, even worked much later with Elvis
Just Googled silent movie stars or lesser stars after Chaplin & co., 55 pages they give of all types & he was my first pick. Looking forward to discovering more. It's all in the timing.
an amazing comedic talent... anyone know how many of his films survive?
I think this list is all the ones that survived en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd_Hamilton#Partial_filmography
How many times did they pass Earls Eatery and City Drug Store?
6:49 that phoney background is a hoot...
GREAT.😂😂😂😂😂
Crane truck creeps into the shot at 7:18 :)
At least the organist is accompanying the film instead of just droning.

Some comedians deserve to die in obscurity. Case in point: Mr. Hamilton.
