Got that collection...Chase has definitely been highlighted lately, including another collection by Criterion videos. Overlooked genius who's resume of work is a who's who of great comics of the 1920's thru 1940's..
Criterion does not have a Chase set, maybe you mean Kino. The talkies are not available on DVD. The Milestone set is all silents, and has several shorts that are not on the Kino set, such as "The Uneasy Three" (from MoMA's 35mm) and "Charley My Boy". RUclips doesn't let you include URLs in comments, so you'll have to go find their site on your own.
What will be different from the Allday & criterion collection? The films are 95 % similiar in both the previous companies mentioned....so the MILESTONE must have his talkies to make it a must buy!
Love Charlie gone to soon. He was very good and really funny
Thanks, Ben! Your score complements this breathless short marvelously. Charley would no doubt have been pleased.
Great score Great Film
The Our Gang kids are there..awesome.
One of my favorite of the "Jimmy Jump" shorts that Chase made. Glad you liked it.
totally love it
Charley great as always.
7:40-7:43 I am dead on the floor laughing at how that kid took off running, he was booking
Your comment and also the very scene you pointed out had me in stitches. How Awesome 😂 Thanks for the laugh amigo ✌️

Next Chase set is out in Nov '12 from Milestone!
😂😂❤️💋👍
Criterion has not released it yet....there are many orders for it.
Charlie was amazing gone to soon. He died of a heart attack because he was so distraught about his brother passing away.

7:26 Diet? CHARLEY??? One of the thinnest of early comedians?? HA! And here I was going to type that he had the physique to play a coward! ;-)
