* I gotta add an extra comment after finishing the vid guys. I saw all the beaver lodges and put two and two together. "Sometimes you go on a Beaver Hunt but by closing time with the beer googles on the Buffalo looks just fine!" Lol. 👊😎👍
Absolutely fabulous vehicle. You both should take more old cars out to iconic places. This just adds to the work you have done. Very happy with seeing how the vehicle was taken care to make it preserve for decades to come.
No pretense, no manufactured drama - just keeping it real with some wonderful old rides at Strong's Garage. Thanks for not being one of "those" YT channels. Very enjoyable! - Ed on the Ridge
There is no vehicle as good as a vintage car to drive through national parks and the praries. Me, my wife and my son were cruising through the nortwestern half of the States with a 63 Impala 4d sedan. The visibility is great. The vintage cars are reliable and well adapted to gravel roads. I will never forget a giant bison bull that was rolling himself in the dust, getting up and scratching the ground with his hoof ten yards away from our Impala on a gravel road besides some canyons in the South Dakota badlands. If you are not suicidal you stay quietly in your vehicle. The Ford is also a perfect vehicle for a tour like that.
Loved the ride. My mom told me she used to love riding in her neighbor's rumble seat when she was a young girl in the '40s. Now I know what it was like sitting in the trunk with wind in your face.
Beautiful old car, kept the way it should be! Used a slightly more modern flathead, and a few old school mods, but let it be the '32 Ford it was meant to be.
As a geezer California car guy, I'm loving this stuff. Never owned a '32 Ford, but I 'm sure enjoying watching younger guys embrace them. Whether it's watching Matt and Jim honor (for the most part) originality, or Matt, Steve, and Mike or on Iron Trap Garage honor the post war Dry Lakes hotrodders, I have tons of respect for what they're all doing. I've also never ridden in a rumble seat! Thanks Jim for filming from that perspective, pretty sure that's as close as I'll ever get. Entire ride along was a hoot!
21:13 Buffalo grumbling as he stands between 2 roadblocks. Buffalo can't read english. He is wondering which way to go. 32 runs like a top n ready for the road after a set of new tires. What a cruiser.
Gee fellas, that was great! But a word to the comment readers: When the vid started I was thinking, "Gee, Matt & Jim should use a camera with better resolution." But it wasn't until Jim stuck the camera out the window that I realized I should check the YT video settings - and sure enough for some obtuse reason it defaulted to 360P! So I reset it to 1080P HD and started it over and wow, what a difference! Thanks for the time travel episode to when my parent were kids - I really did get a feel for their age in their era and my Grandfather who owned the first Firestone Tire dealership in Rockville Center on Long Island in NY.
I love this channel and eveything avout it. I realy enjoyed the Park tour and drive, I hope you could do more drive with other vehicles in the future, it was very relaxing. Thanx guys!
A lot of Beaver there, too bad I heard there good eating and the pelts are still worth a bit, neat travel and love what you Guys have done with that Cruiser, Thumbs Up Guys Thanks!.....
What a neat old bus. Nary a squeak or a rattle in it, even over the rough stuff and the Smittys sound great . Gotta love the trusty, dusty appearance, too. Well done, boys!
Thank you for taking us along to Elk Island National Park, it was truly a beautiful place. The 1932 Ford is an awesome piece of American/ Canadian history, and it performed amazingly well. What a jewel.
Fantastic car, great video. A joy to watch and see all the work you've done. Loving the straw boater, a nice touch. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to see his car out on the road
I find it funny that people want to feel nostalgic about having an old car with "patina". I have some pictures of my dad back in 1936 when he was 21 with his first car, a 1933 Ford coupe. He. used to talk about getting the car all shined up so he and two of his brothers could go into town on saturday night after the farm work was done.
I loved the rumble seat shots. It brings back memories of riding in the rumble seat of my uncle's baby blue Model A as went bouncing across the fields bring the cows home. That car was a true bush buggy It expired in 1954, left at an old mill site in Beaver Valley BC. Someone picked it up and I'm still trying to track down that old family heirloom.
This was one of the most enjoyable videos I’ve ever watched. It really is a treat to see how well these cars perform with some care and attention. It’s one of the reasons I watch you two and appreciate the skills you bring to each project. As well, I’m lucky to have you both working on my car. It’s going to be truly drivable for the first time since I purchased it.
Thank you both so much for this wonderful trip through the park and through time. May the buffalo 🦬 always be off to the SIDE of the road on all your journeys!
What a truly incredible experience and adventure. I hope you both know how blessed you are. Not many people get to feel that kinda history. Amazing memories, gentlemen .
What A great video - to see a deuce roadster as it looked back in the day on a gravel road at speed and with a view from the rumble seat- and a bison to boot. Chalk another one up to Matt and Jim- you guys are Nostalgia personified!
Not a Ford guy myself but to me the "hobby" is about creating an environment which I never had the privilege of experiencing myself. Keep up the fantastic work guys!
Nice job on the car! I’m from Arkansas never been to Canada so thanks for showing me some of the country. I also watch Scott, Kyle and Brent, Canada has some really cool car people would love to come and visit you guys some day,
Outstanding work gentlemen, on the ‘32 and the capture of the trip to Elk Island. The sound and sight of that Flatty humming down the road was the stuff of dreams!
@@ucfhillcollege8296 When the seat's not in use,the trunk was the floor space in the rumble seat space, and usually a rack for luggage on the rear bumper that folded down to carry it.
I love that you're going to put a larger tire in back to give it a more aggressive look. I've never thought my '30 looks at all aggressive. But hey, Clyde Barrow certainly made use of that V8 in an aggressive way, so I guess it's all about perspective and use.
Nice ride...and roads! A lot of the gravel roads around me are barely a car and a half wide so someone is usually stopping off to the side as the other car proceeds past. I watched and listened with only one headphone speaker on for that vintage experience, lol.
awesome car guys........in 2000 i had a 32 chev rumble seat roadster convertible loved taking the family out for drives..great channel keep up the great job
Matt and Jim you guys are awesome. You are so good together. This is your best video yet. I'm 60 years old and I have never ridden in or driven a Model A or even a model T. I always thought of Model A's as being putt putt 4 cylinders on not a V8. You would think somebody that has been a mechanic all his life would have had some experience with old Fords but I haven't. I love your garage, what a blast from the past. If you guys weren't 2,000 miles away from me I would love to visit. Lol. Can wait for Jim to get the 58 Continental finished. Hello from West Virginia!
This channel is literally everything i have ever wanted from a vintage car channel. Keep up the amazing work lads!!!
Couldn’t agree more
I can just imagine that buffalo thinking " it's been years since I saw one of those" 😆
What a sweet old car 👍
20:2. a real Canadian view, Geese going to visit their mates at the beaver lodge. 😁😁
* Sweet Survivor !!! They're only original once ! Great job gents !

Love how you kept everything oldschool on the 32
We saved this for watching with our dessert tonight so we could thoroughly enjoy it! Love the video very much!
Nothing better than a nice drive in an old car!
@@happyjohn8256 absolutely, my wife and I had had many lovely drives in a 47 1/2 5 window Chevy we used to have.
The old Flatty sounds really good. I was surprised how quite the transmission was, very little gear noise. Good jobs guys!
Gonna start calling you guys the Clyde Barrow gang.
Thanks for the nice ride guys.
Really like the car and drive through the park, a forgotten time from the past.
Nice to see that Spring has caused you guys to break out the bright plaid shirts.
Absolutely fabulous vehicle. You both should take more old cars out to iconic places. This just adds to the work you have done. Very happy with seeing how the vehicle was taken care to make it preserve for decades to come.
Thanks for that one gentlemen.
Always wondered what a rumble seat ride would be like, now I know.
Letting the car do the talking…. pretty cool!

Thanks for not being one of "those" YT channels. Very enjoyable!

Thank u guys for a GREAT TRIP in a 32 !!!!!
Nothing like riding shotgun in a '32 Ford roadster. The car is just humming along.
Absolutely love your videos 💟😁
Nice drive through Elk Island National Park
Very enjoyable ride long. Thanks!

I love the sound of a flathead. Thanks for the tour.
Very cool video idea! It would be nice to see it again when everything is green!
Hello from Stillwater Minnesota , always look forward to your videos!!
I'm down the block and around the corner.... Across town from you. I do enjoy these guys

What a natty beast!
What a wonderful piece of Ford history. It sure looks like a fun ride. Old Henry Ford loved the outdoors.
She sure is a beauty in all her natural patina and sound. Thanks for the Alberta park tour!!

I love this vid. So cool to see that machine out in the world doing car things!
Great ride and love the old flatty😊
Fantastic content guys! Truly enjoyable!! Car is awesome!
Beautiful car, and fantastic original "resto" guys! thanks for the tour. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
That car is fantastic!
Jim + Matt, fantastic resto! A Deuce with some juice! Thanks FOR THE SHARE!
So the 1930s really weren't in black & white then! Thanks for the beautiful tour in this lovely automobile.
Great video and landscape tour. It looked like you were parked in 1930s film lot at beginning and ending of video 👍
Best video! Love the park. Now time for a Lincoln drive!
Great job gentlemen! Nothing like that flathead sound! 😎👍
BTW, you have some beautiful land up there.

Good thing that temporary barrier was up to protect you from that buffalo. You lads might've been in a pickle!

40 kph is is 25 mph. In most cars that would be annoyingly slow but in a car like this it most feel just right
Hey guys, make a video of that bad ass crew cab Sweptline I just saw in your shop on Cold War Motors. Thanks

What a great car and scenery. Enjoyed the ride.

Great episode! Loved the tour of the park! You guys never fail to deliver a wonderful experience..
Hello from Tennessee! Love your videos. I never miss one.
Definitely a Sharp 32
What a beautiful roadster--it's perfect! Now about that hat Matt... 😆
Love the footage of Matt zooming by. Also the footage from the rumble seat! Jim, how was that on leg room?
With a rumble seat, is there any trunk (or as you say, boot) space?
@@ucfhillcollege8296 When the seat's not in use,the trunk was the floor space in the rumble seat space, and usually a rack for luggage on the rear bumper that folded down to carry it.

What I dig about your show is you don't mess them up. You keep them stock
Well done, really enjoyed the views and perspective from inside that awesome Ford. Thanks for sharing!
I enjoy your videos, looks like you have a whole group of car guys in your area Thanks
Wonderful! Thanks guys. 100th comment! All the best, Mart in England.
