George Straight is royalty in Country Music. He's had 81 country music nominations, won 3 entertainer of the year awards. You cannot go wrong with a George Strait song. It's just not possible. "They Call Me the Fireman", "The Chair", "Ocean Front Property", "Check Yes or No" on and on.

I saw George a few years ago. Jayvee you need to react to his classic, All My Ex's Live in Texas.
George has more number 1 songs than any other artist in any genre--and for good reason.
I also want to mention that he acts in one of my favorite movies of all time.... Pure Country. It may not be the best acting of all time but the movie is beautiful and pure. It is a finding yourself and love story but there are no love scenes or even kissing because George refused to cheat on his wife. That is love!!

Others have already talked about his music but I want to add that George Strait does wonderful charity work, too. He has been involved with a wounded veterans’ foundation for a long time, and he raised a ton of money for Hurricane Harvey relief. I grew up in Houston, so I especially appreciated that!

You have to go deep into his music.... George Strait.... he has such a fab voice!! Drop dead gorgeous and an amazing great guy. He is in a movie called Pure Country. Its outstanding. As ive mentioned once, if you watch him and his eyes, you can see how much he loves singing country. ADELIDA N AMARILLO BY MORNING ARE SERIOUS GOOD HITS YOU CAN REACT TO. King of Country here I just love him. Garth Brooks is another that has taken country so far he has won several awards. You have to react to live concerts or shows since he doesn't have his music out on digital platforms. Thunder Rolls and Papa Loved Mama, these two are a start. Both George Straight and Garth have sooo many songs to even scratch the surface of their music.
George Strait the breath you take is a powerful, melancholy song. Played it at my dads funeral back in February.
Another great song, and reaction. George Strait was great, talented, smoothest voice and songs. He had some tragedy in his life during his greatest writing and performing years, but kept going, love him. Thanks again for the great music and reactions!
My favorite George Strait song is, Love Without End, Amen. Still say this to my children daily.

It would take forever to go through the list of all of George's songs. They are all soo good. I don't know particularly why but 'True' always puts me in such a happy mood.
Glad you liked the song. It is George Strait!! He was young when he started and he will be doing until he can't any longer. Had a farewell concert and said he was retiring, then came back again. It's in his blood. Check out his song " I hate everything ". He did 2 George Strait Country Music Festivals here in Atlanta at the old Turner field, Braves stadium. The best 2 shows I ever seen.

I am from the same area that George is from, and I'm old enough to remember when he was just starting out (although he's about 12 years older than me). He was one of the regulars at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas, just about a five minute drive from what is now my house, and was a family summer home when I was a kid. I got to see him perform live about 20 times before most people even knew who he was!
My dad used to go hear him there. Dad was just there for the Pearl Light lol

Really can't go wrong with George Strait, he has had 66 number one hits and has recorded over 400 songs. "Write This Down" "Every Little Honky Tonk Bar" "Amarillo by Morning" "Blue Clear Sky" and "Stars on the Water" to name a few.
I was amazed to find out how many songs I have liked over the years and now find out they were George Strait songs.
He was also in a movie, Pure Country. He has some great hits and is very nice on the eyes. Has had some heartache in his life but has had a great career.

George Strait is the king of country. He has broken more records than any artist in any genre of music including Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. He is a quiet Country Boy who just loves country music. And you don't see him all over TMZ and the news or social media acting a fool.

I think the Undertaker had this song in the final ever documentary about him before he retired. Was so fitting. I have to learn this song on guitar, it's incredible.
