There are loads of guitar teachers on here, but when I'm stuck you're the man! I was struggling with pull offs, but watching your technique & listening to your tips have put me right, so I know what to practice. Many Thanks
Thank you so much, your work and time in creating these videos is a huge investment. Personally I'm really benefiting Sir, once again thank you so much.
Thanks, i too found this great. For over 20 years i pulled off by trying to lift my finger off loudly. pulling the finger downwards like you say works and gives volume. little finger now decent.
That's not wrong at all. Say, if you had to play a pull-off on the second string, and simultaneously play the first string and let it ring for an entire bar more or less; then you shouldn't use the pull-off as it's explained in this video, you should actually use the pull-off you've been using since now.
Loved this lesson, I have a question though, how do you practice pull offs for speed, in order words having faster pull offs? I don't know if you have lesson on the subject and if so I would like the link for it.
You have to analyze the movement of the fingers at a speed you can perform clean pull offs / hammer ons. Try to keep moving fluently and prevent step-like movements. And when you speed up watch carefully that you don't obstruct the clean movement. That way you don't internalize wrong or choppy muscle movements.

He's actually quite bad. I'd say he acts like he knows way more than he actually does.

Yes, a stylized lion's head, complete with mane.
I do now and now I can't pay attention to the video. Thanks for nothing lol.
Thank you very much for this video! By the way, you were supinating. (It's the way you would bend your wrist if you want to carry some soup).
